Such a great pool. Wonderful service.

Beautiful safe and fun. Celebrated a wedding. Will definitely return. Rooms are uniquely decorated. The air conditioning was excellent. Thank goodness! Pet friendly. Although our neighbor left their pup in the room all day. He cried all day. Somewhat annoying, but not Ace Hotels fault.

Favorite spot in Palm Springs — We've visited here several times and always enjoy it. Chill atmosphere, great food and drinks, nice pool and good music.
A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Stay on a weeknight for a cheaper rate and less competition for a good lounge chair by the pool.

This place is a party with a pool that stays open til 2. Great service, cocktails and atmosphere.

Great Pool Friendly Atmosphere.

Good clean and tasty food in a fun atmosphere. One of the few restaurants where the to go containers are biodegradable instead of styrofoam. That is a plus. Hip, fun, casual crowd and same goes for the staff.

I love staying at the ACE hotel. It's very comfortable and has a bit of something for everyone. I like the decor of the rooms and the grounds of the hotel are very clean and hip. The views of the mountains are beautiful. This trip our room had French doors on the second floor over looking the pool and the mountains. Amazing!

What a great experience! The room was comfortable and cozy. Loved the decor. The pool was amazing and the service at the restaurant was outstanding. I loved how kid friendly and pet friendly the hotel was.

Excellent service. Staff cater to individuals/groups’ needs, which translates to a low-key experience for all. We keep saying “it feels like we’re the only ones here” and that’s a testament to how well we’ve been treated. Ongoing. We haven’t left yet! Bonus points for clean surroundings and plenty of discreet places to chill and sneak a kiss or twenty from this hot babe of mine.

I've almost never know a kinder staff. It's an almost perfect oasis in the desert.

Everything about the Ace Hotel & Swim Club is thoughtfully curated and detail driven. I was so impressed with the amenities, helpful staff, and friendly vibe. Both the restaurant and bar had great service and killer food. I highly recommend.

Changed my review to five stars, which I think is fair. ACE hotel is a updated mid-century funky looking place, where I got a top floor room with a view of the pool and the mountains. I slept like a baby in there thanks to some magical bed blanket that never got too hot or cold. I need to buy that blanket! I liked my room a lot, it had nice decor and a minibar worthy of a party with plenty of drinks & popcorn snacks etc to choose from. The bonus star comes from the fact that there was a tiny black towel labelled "makeup" which was perfect for wiping the party makeup off. Little touches like that are great. Also the shower was amazing.

Had a fantastic time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Patio room was great despite it being too hot to hang outside during the day. Plenty of chairs and shade on the pool deck. Drinks were fantastic! Fairly short drive to downtown.

I stayed here with a group of 17 girls for a bachelorette party over the weekend. The hotel and rooms were clean, simple, and chic and the staff was pleasant. It's nothing super fancy, but it's a great place for a low-key weekend get away.

Such a nice property. Lovingly restored 1950’s roadside motel vibe with a well designed southwest camping twist. Great for couples and groups of friends to stay the. Night and chill outside by a private or community fire pit, or enjoy a cocktail by the pool.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and was greeted to a home made birthday card and cookies in my room! Such a nice touch! The property is awesome and no matter what room you have, you are close to the pool. They have free bike rentals which I totally suggest doing (in the morning, too hot later). The Amigo room has great food and live music. Try the fish tacos, they're killer! I will definitely stay here again.

For those looking for the modern and technological is not recommended, but in the beautiful setting of Palm Spring is a dip in a movie.
Mainly gay management and clientele, contribute to a friendly and friendly environment.
Prices definitely high and breakfast not up to par.

The vibe is cool and hip. It has a pretty good restaurant attached and of course the pool is where the scene starts and ends. The rooms are okay. The bathrooms need some more shine. Overall, it's not bad but could be great with a little more.

Although this hotel is generally amazing. The bar staff are VERY arrogant, to the point I had to ask one of them if I had offended them for any reason… Being a foreigner I thought I may not have known a custom. During the day I was tipping properly but still got a lot of attitude. Then at dinner the same thing… The bar tender was more interested in cleaning the bottles than actually serving us. And so, on not leaving a tip, we were scum and received service befitting. I do recommend staying at the Ace for what it's known for, but at the least, understand that the bar staff really need a lesson in customer service… And please note I'm only speaking of the bar staff here. The bar staff need to demonstrate that they are not above many other world class hotels as they may think/act, as to be honest they are not even close. The remaining staff are of the world class you would expect. I love this hotel and am so disappointed that we were treated so badly on a repeat stay…

Great boutique hotel. Friendly service. The room was clean and had a cool vintage vibe. Reasonable price. Call ahead for a room instead of using a web booking app, they will give you a discount to book direct.

The Ace Hotel is a great place to while away a few days sitting by the pool. All done up in a 1950s retro-hipster-chic style, with a pool-side lounge and diner style restaurant. If you can, reserve one of the rooms with a patio and private fireplace… The extra outdoor space is great for evening drinks. Get to the pool early, though, if you want to get good seating.

Long story short, we checked into the hotel and our initial room smelled horribly. Matty, the General Manager, did a great job accommodating our need to switch rooms and our stay was flawless from that point forward. Thanks for the great customer service! Side note: cool bikes. If you get a chance, take them for a spin.

Awesome hotel! Great friendly staff, good food and stylish comfortable rooms. Our room had a great outdoor section and a lovely bed with a firm memory foam mattress. The pool is a good size and the fellow guests are friendly and respectful. Price is pretty steep but it really is a great experience. Try the spa too for an extra special treat!

Nice hotel the pool is way too crowded not enough chairs had to just have drinks while we visited friends. We had wristbands even but not enough to go around chairs wise. Food and bar service out by pool was extremely slow. Had to walk to bar to do all the ordering. That's the best way they give you a number and bring it out to your table. If we would have known that for the first half-hour we waited it would have been a lot more pleasant.

Huge fan of Ace. Stayed at multiple properties and was excited to try Palm Springs. When we got there, however, it was less than impressive with a number of problems from our room’s cleanliness to many run down amenities, included in our nightly rate, that we couldn’t use because of it. Then, their Manager (Scott) stepped in to rectify it, which totally changes experiences for the better. Accountability is key which is what he took and then went a step further. Upgraded us to a better, perfectly clean room on top of comping our resort fee, saving us a nice chunk of change. Because of this, I continued to HIGHLY recommend Ace Hotels to everyone and look forward to staying at more of their locations.

Attended a wedding at this hotel. Absolutely beautiful and the space is very well-maintained. The room was hip and vibed well with the desert aesthetic we were hoping for. The only downside is the price which was a bit more expensive than I would have liked. Everything from food to resort fee was higher than I thought necessary. I would stay again but will likely be more conscientious of prices during my next stay.

Really a fun place on Monday nights. Bingo is hosted by a wonderful 90 year old woman who sings and dances throughout the night. Adult humor is subtle but may not be the place for kids. After bingo the bar has a trivia contest hosted by a drag queen who is also fun and entertaining. Drink service is the only thing lacking in the bar area.

The Breakfasts are tops! Lunch and dinners less varied. No alcohol-free cocktails. Terrible Atmosphere! Beautiful place with drunk on the mountains. The pool is heated even in winter!

Love this place. If I could move into one of the courtyard encircled rooms I always stay in, I would. The beds are the most comfy. The pool is my favorite, both because the music is always awesome and their cocktail called the Desert Facial is indispensable in the heat. Perfectly hip and decadent, this spot has the best in-hotel bar and spa I've experienced. I have had a massage and facial at their Feel Good spa and enjoyed both thoroughly. My ONLY critique, and this won't be an issue for everyone, is that there are zero vegan options on site. There is a fantastic vegan deli in a health food store around the corner, but you cannot bring outside food to the pool and also miss out on the cool vibe at their restaurant. Please Ace, craft more vegan options and stay awesome!

Fun place to have drinks and swim. They also have really good djs. Rooms are understated comfortable. When we stayed there it was pretty loud at night so that's my only real negative. The food at the restaurant is pretty decent and there is a nice coffee shop/food place right across the street. I think it used to be a Howard Johnson's it looks and feels like it anyway.

Understaffed. Be ready to spend some time here. Many tables open, but lots of people are waiting to be seated, and the ones seated have no food and look frustrated. Staff says they are busy serving the pool. Waited a while at the bar, then went across the street to Koffi and had a great quick bite.

A truly outstanding stay. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food at the King Highway restaurant was excellent. I would not hesitate to comeback to the Ace the next time my schedule permits.

Hipster mecca in a yuppie town. Definitely a lot of people here to feel cool. The macrame cracks me up. What they did to an old Dennys and Howard Johnson is pretty impressive. Reasonable rates for a bourgeois motel. Service is good. Amenities are also top notch. A bit too expensive for my blood.

Stopped in for a day pass to use the pool. $20 on weekdays to lounge around a pool with a delicious restaurant serving food and drinks poolside in a vintage California venue. Great place to stop if you are bumming around palm springs for a day or two. Kid friendly.

Cool Hotel for cool people. We felt comfortable at the Ace Hotel. Our room was large enough and had a small abgeschattete terrace surrounded by a small wall. There are two pool areas, but the smaller one was too quiet for us to have dared to go there with our children. The actual swim club is very large and equipped with many lounge chairs. The whole day was very nice music and there were a lot of people on the spot who would like to spend the day at the pool. We found two things striking: unlike in all the other accommodations we visited in California, there was no coffee maker in the room and what we found really disappointing was that our room was not cleaned up despite two nights. Reasoning at the reception was that in the desert it was not necessary to refer the beds fresh. That may be, but you could do it every day, right?

Dropped in for lunch. Lots to look at. A perfect spot for day drinkin' The mule has some kick!

The rooms are very neat and have comfortable furnishing. Plenty of snacks and drinks to satisfy you throughout your stay. Their dinner has great foods and their pool is amazing.

Great hotel, with nice pool and bar. The rooms are not really big but the bathroom is. Very nice decoration. We enjoyed our stay even if it was a bit pricey. Staff was really nice too. Good location near downtown.

You have to go here if your in the area. Even if you just go for lunch you'll have a great time. Amazing and healthy food with a nice LA vibe. The staff there are very friendly! Definitely go check it out!

Excellent food and friendly staff at the Kings Highway. The establishment is one of a kind, within a class all it's own, and atmosphere thoughtfully crafted to encourage memorable desert evening socials. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Too expensive for the benefit.

Loved this trendy oasis in the desert. A real east London meets mid century desert vibe. Great room with canvas on the walls and a polished concrete floor, felt a bit like glamping, but with aircon and a great shower. Sunset with sangria on the rooftop platform was a great end to a day adventuring in Joshua tree.

What a unique place. The pool and patio are fantastic and relaxed. The staff is super friendly and all the drinks are delicious.

My friends and I enjoyed some refreshing summer cocktails at the indoor bar. I had a delightful watermelon margarita and fish tacos. Both were delicious. Service was prompt and the prices weren't too bad.

Came here for Stronghold Reggae night. Vibes were amazing and DJ Journee is Top Shelf! He spins like few others I've ever seen in the valley. DJ Journee's reggae/ dancehall mix mastery keeps the party on the WHOLE night thru! Awesome experience.
Drinks were good and the pool was clean and well maintained.

This place is the BEST place in Palm Springs and is only getting better in my opinion! The staff is incredible, the rooms are comfortable, the specialty cocktails are delicious, and the pool is the crown jewel. It's nice that they chill the water, a refreshing change from the dry heat. The DJ's are consistently good, and the tunes get varied enough that you never know what to expect, except that it'll be the perfect backdrop to your fun in the sun. I've always enjoyed the cross section of guests here, too. Gay, straight, kids (both 2 legged and 4)! A couple stays back I had the pleasure of meeting the front of house manager, Jacqui. Her personable touch and was both charming and refreshing. That's what good customer service looks like. I can't recommend this place enough.

Always love the Ace. It's a fun trendy retro hotel/party spot. Rooms are decorated in a very hipster retro vibe. Everyone is friendly, fun, and mellow. It's a great place to relax, float and have some drinks. They also have a great spa where we got massages and pampering.

This is without a doubt the best place to stay and visit in Palm Springs. Everyone mixes well together whether it's straight, gay, Family, four-legged, or whatever your version of fun is. We have stayed there almost every birthday and anniversary for the past 7 years. Love the Decour and all the amenities. The pool steam sauna and work out facilities are all top-notch. Jacqueline is the best as well very accommodating. Hillary is always bright eyed and cheerful and very welcoming. And Danny one of the waiters poolside is great as well. Check out the trivia, bingo and when it's a full moon drum circle in the commune. Can't wait to be back!

Nous avons aussi aimé avoir deux types de piscines, une plus tranquille et une une plus grande et festive. Les seuls bémols sont les mouches un peu partout et le restaurant qui est un peu inconsistant.

The Essential hotel in Palm Springs. Great atmosphere. Very warm welcome. Perfect for lounging by the pool right in the middle of the desert. You're going to take yourself for a star on your Transat and order cocktails by hand while stirring your head on the music. Ultra comfortable bedding and tastefully decorated room!
We'll be back for sure!

Beautiful hotel and super kitschy! Such an awesome place to go in the desert. I went there to go see a comedy show at the commune. The show was really good except the room was insanely hot and all of us were sweating unbelievably. If they had turned on the AC it would have been a great experience. But other than that no complaints.

Had a blast on Memorial Day weekend. This isn't my first trip to the Ace in PS. We keep coming back because we love the chill vibe on the property. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty going on day and night. When I say chill I mean there's just an easy feeling being at the hotel. People here want to relax and have a good time. The main pool is hoppin', but there is also a pool where you can enjoy some low key energy. Had a massage, which was awesome. If you get a chance check it out.

The best place in Palm Springs for the 30 and under crowd. Great LA hipster feel to the place, pool is always having a great party, usually a pretty great (although not super extensive) beer selection. Food and cocktails are on point.

First time here and I was very impressed. Attention to detail is crazy here! Rooms and grounds were very well curated. The hot Palm Springs sun had us lounging by the pool for a few hours. They have their main pool and then a smaller commune pool that's much more mellow. Overall, very impressed. For once, the hype is spot on. Ace is.

Too cool for school. Really well designed. However, there were these uber trendy people partying all night, which made it hard for my wife and I to sleep. Additionally, some sort of mechanical closet next to the room began acting up at 4am, causing us to not be able to sleep. They gave us a 50% refund. Place is very cool but attracts a crowd that's a little too cool for us.

My family had consistently visited every spring for many years. The Ace is truly special. The ambiance unique and unmatched. It's extremely kid-friendly. However, food and drink service is inconsistent. Every food order was either incorrect, or extremely slow to arrive on our last visit. The amazingly friendly servers help soothe the frustration, but when you're hungry… you're hungry.

We went to the bar for drinks but after decided rather than drive around looking for dinner, we could eat there, win, right? We were seated on the patio sounds 6pm, it took awhile for our server to arrive and when he did we ordered drinks, and appetizer and entrees. Our drinks probably took 10 minutes and we assumed or app would follow as it was ricotta cheese and toast. Nothing for nearly 40 minutes. When the server checked in I asked if the app would come out before the food, since that was why we ordered it. He said no, it would all come together. I asked if he could check on it, he said yes then proceeded to go chat with other servers and stand around. He didn't come back. At this point it's been an hour. I am hungry my companion is ready to leave. Then our food all comes out at once. It is all cold. Grilled lamb, Burger, fries, toast, all of it. That was the last straw. Add it head clearly been made and left sitting there for who knows how long. The table near us of 6 people ordered, and their entire meal and were leaving in the time it took ours to arrive. I went to the bar and asked for a manager, something I've never done. I tell her about the wait and our cold food. She asks if we want it retired, which to me means new food. Will my $27 lamb was new but my companions burger read now burnt and well done, not medium rare as asked for. We ate and had to again wait for the server to come to give us the check. When it came, nothing was discounted or comped.

Stayed here twice now when I have been out here for the CUE Conference. Really cool 60s vibe. Very modern and clean rooms. Good coffee near by and not too far from the main drag in town. Would totally recommend.

The Ace Palm Springs is quintessential cool. Like most Aces, there is a popular public space and this one happens to be at the pool which has the mountains for a backdrop. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Room service is great, but I prefer going to the bar or Kings Highway on-site.

My wife and I went over for lunch yesterday and didn't really have the best of time. The waitress got my wife's order wrong and we ended up waiting about a half hour to get a pretty lack luster quesdilla that probably took about 5 minutes to actually make. Usually not a big deal but this was after the lunch rush. The waitress was nice enough and apologized and gave us a desert free of charge for the wait. Other than that though it was a neat little place but it didn't really seem as amazing as my sister and brother in law made it out to be.

We had an amazing time — and I can only tell you that your local staff rocks. Our awesome server remembered our breakfast selection every morning — Four Seasons service in a 10x more chill & relaxing atmosphere. The DJ was a great touch on Saturday, and the vibe overall was great.

Interesting vintage motel/wall tent theme. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. By and large, my stay way good. If you intend to go here, know that there are two event spaces on the property, and if your room is located near one of them, it can be noisy.

Great hotel! Aesthetically it has a great vintage “hipster” feel. Turntables in the room, old converted camper trailers at poolside. The art around the hotel and in the rooms are fun and interesting. Slat walls for hanging and fabric on some walls add to the great design. The whole place makes me want to do a photo shoot like one of the interesting catalogs/magazines in the room. And it could easily be done with the décor and props all around. When we stayed it was relatively quiet and relaxed, but you can see it can be A lively place with loud music, and a lot of people. Yet cozy around one of the fireplaces around the hotel rooms, and romantic on the patios to some of the rooms. Scooters and bike to rent, guitars in the lobby all invite you to stay longer. The rooms are clean, shower is great, vanity space is all you really need. The beds are very comfortable. And contrary to some other reviews the staff both at the front desk and in the restaurant were extremely friendly. Some reviews stated that it was over priced, but also mention being there on the weekend. Isn't that the nature of most all hotels? Especially in a town like Palm Springs. Art festivals, and Coachella and you know…Palm Springs all kind of make a higher cost a given. But that said, it was quite reasonable. If you want a quiet place to stay with the family while headed east or west stay at a standard hotel.

Our first visit to the ACE was so great, it was the only place we looked at when it came time to book our wedding. The staff was super attentive and welcoming. All of our guests loved their rooms. After our wedding, guests ended up in the Amigo Room and we all had a blast. Folks loved the salt water pool. Just a ton of fun all around. Our ACE suite was fantastic for the Bride to get ready but it's not really necessary if you're just staying the night. All the rooms are pretty similar, each slightly different for different needs. As a Midwest boy, I was bummed that Kings Highway got rid of the biscuits and gravy but the carnitas burrito is so good.
