Great hotel, stay here regular! Recommend it for all.

It was a good visit room was very clean and good products not like other hotels.

Nice layout, friendly staff but smelled like dog piss.

There is a kitchenette in the rooms with a full fridge (with ice maker). Rooms are a little on the small side though. It would be nice if there was room for a couch. The receptionist was very friendly.

First time consumer great experience. Very practical great deal Clean, and checkout is 12noon. No complaints here.

I spend the night in candlewood hotel on 6/30/2018. Its a good place to spend the night in. Front desk people are really nices and friendly. I really recomend this candlewood hotel to everybody. Thank fir everything. See you next time.

The rates were very affordable and the room was basic but clean and spacious. Having a full kitchen in the room is super convenient. The shower was great! One of the best I've had in a hotel room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice comfortable stay. Very friendly staff. Plenty of amenities especially for extended stay. They also have a good collection of movie DVDs which you can borrow.

I know it's an extended stay hotel, but what's the point of having to personally bring down my sheets and exchange them for new ones that I have to put on MYSELF? Staff is quite friendly and helpful. The lack of room service is ridiculous.

Jacqueline is extremely friendly and professional. She greeted us and checked us in at the front desk. After we got in our room, we received a call from her checking us if everything is ok. She truly makes us feel comfortable to stay at Candlewood Suites Santa Maria.

Love the idea of a full kitchen at all Candlewoods. Very welcoming and have even returned twice because of the care we get.

For long term stay. Rooms are spacious and ok. Good working space. Full kitchen. Very nice staff. But no ice machine nor breakfast. So if you are passing by for a night, maybe you better check out other options…

I can't say enough good about this place. The suite was great, simultaneously spacious and roomy. The hosts were nothing but kind. Overall an amazing place to stay for business or pleasure.

Unlike other same grade hotels, the room was very spacious and homey. Very simple and nothing fancy but I liked the open layout more than Marriotts I have stayed in the past. I wished we stayed more than one night. The mattress and pillows in the room were super comfortable too and both my teenage daughter and I unexpectedly had a good night sleep (we never sleep well ina hotel room). The front desk clerk demonstrated her outstanding customer service skills too. She made us feel like we came home. (I wish they offered breakfast service though. )

The hotel was nice and front desk was friendly. I had a dog with me and they have a dirt path full of glass, cigarettes, and other trash. Not a great place for a dog. Still the hotel was great.

Very disappointed, didn't know this was an "extended stay" hotel when I booked online. They told us our room wouldn't get cleaned til we left, if we needed clean sheets or towels they would provide them, not even take out the trash. They said we could take it out and throw in the trash can outside. First and last time I stay here!

Unfortunately, my mom and I weren't able to get a room here because we had showed up late at night and very last minute I must add. Thankfully, Vanessa at the front desk was kind enough to call around and was able to find us availability at a different hotel. I must say that you have very friendly and helpful staff! If my mom and I are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back to stay here and will make sure to call ahead to book a room. Thanks again Vanessa for the help! We really appreciate it!

Service is good, and staff is generally friendly. The hotel is dog-friendly but the person who checked me in clearly did not like that I had a dog. The room included a leather recliner that was coming apart and peeling. The air conditioner made a horrendously loud noise when it turned on, enough to wake my wife and I up in the night. The kitchenette seemed to be missing some items other locations have always provided (sharp knife, cutting board, more than one spoon) and appliances were not very clean (looked clean from the front but the underside of the microwave above the stove had caked-on goo and the stove burners smelled like burning food when turned on). The price was right, but overall, I do not think we will return, unless some work is done to bring this up to the standard of other Candlewood locations.

The staff here are very nice but the hotel is extremely outdated. The suite we stayed in was very sub par and left much to be desired. The furniture in the room was in disrepair, and the bed was as hard as a rock. The room doors are supposed to be weighted and close automatically but ours would not close unless you put all your weight into closing it. The dishes in the kitchenette were not clean and needed to be hand washed before using them, and the underside of the microwave above the stove was absolutely filthy. Lastly, it was almost impossible to sleep because the air conditioning unit sounded like a helicopter crashing every 30 minutes it decided to run and we eventually had to turn it off. The one upside is that the hotel is pet friendly with up to an 80 pound weight limit. We have stayed at many different Candlewood Suites locations and have never had this negative of an experience with a room before. We definitely will be choosing a different location the next time we visit the area.

Nice, well equipped room with microwave, fridge, and stove. The furniture is old but fine. Chair seating surface is worn, doesn't look too good cosmetically. It's reasonably priced room. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff! Asked for an early check in due to the fact that I was bringing along my fish (house was being fumigated), and without hesitation, Erica at the front desk got us in right away. Very clean and welcoming too! Will definitely go there again!

Very nice hotel and the rooms are a good size for being a suit. The amenities seem to be lacking in quality but is not a deal. Staff seems tired and bored but they were helpful and made sure the stay was good.

Looking for an affordable and nice option in this area can be a challenge but look no further. Clean, spacious, friendly (especially Blanca), and close to the 101 for exploring, what more could you want! We used the kitchenette to save money and cook "at home" as well as the gas grill outside. Will never stay anywhere else in the Santa Maria Valley.

Close to freeway and shopping. Slightly high price for what you receive. Air conditioner doesn't allow for constant fan on, so cars out window can be noisy. Bath area contains typically dirtiness if you're tall. Pleasant employees and ability to check out DVDs and items like fans and rice cookers. Plenty of parking.

Honestly, I wasnt expecting a lot for what I paid. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I guess the only thing I would change are the pillows. They are a little hard. Definitely recommend this place!

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room is very clean and cozy. Only a bit of wear and tear on some of the furniture, which might need some updating. Overall it's very comfortable! Home away from home!

Stay here often when traveling for work and it's a clean relatively quite property. The room are suites and not lavish luxury but do offer a kitchen with full size fridge. I will be back again in the future.

This was a nice hotel that we were able to stay at using IHG points. I didn't have any toothpaste (thank you, TSA! ), so the girl at the front desk gave me a travel kit that even included a toothbrush. Little things like that mean a lot when you're travelling.

We had a good stay. The marmor on the kitchen and bathroom looks high quality, timeless but also stylish. Big fridge, good useable kitchen. The Hotel is located between Holiday Inn and a Hilton brand Motel.
