For what it's worth, good night sleep. Missing towel set when reserved for 4. Did not tell us about breakfast — looked even to be the manager that checked us in. Nice touch to the origami towel on bed when entering room. Power outlets were extremely hard to find.

Very nice housekeeping staff… Clean rooms, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot in room. Charged $10.00 for my small dog. Hotel is close to shopping, nail salon, and gas station. My stay was comfortable!

No microwave or fridge in the room. But the room was SO clean! Small showers, but altogether a nice experience.

Very clean. Attentive and courteous staff. The grounds are well kept and beautifully in bloom. Lots of fragrant flowers. The room was clean. The bed was soft. Plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean. Microwave and small fridge worked well. The pool was clean and very nice. Breakfast was coffee, juice, hot tea, hot chocolate, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, and a make your own waffle station. Tables were a bit wobbly. Only complaint I had was that I couldn't find an outlet that wasn't taken by the various electronics in the room. Interestingly there are 2 outlets on the front of the microwave. Sneaky. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Excellent value for money. Super nice pool and very spacious room. The mattress is very comfortable.

Clean rooms complete with coffee pot. Great breakfast options included. They accept pets for a nominal fee.

Wound up staying twice due to backtracking in our road trip if I ever find my way out there again I would absolutely choose this hotel everything was great.

It's a good place to stay for the night if you are on the road. Little dated but clean and close to freeway and many cheap food options.

Super cheap rooms. Also the location is excellent. Right off the freeway with plenty of dining options close by. The room was very clean and smelled of fresh linen. I also left my expensive bluetooth headphones behind and they found them and called me and were able to mail them to my address. I definitely appreciate that.

Just booked a room for the night driving thru last minute. They were the cheapest in the area and friendly staff at check in. Room was decent, clean, even a towel animal! Impressed. Happy we got this deal!

My buddy and stayed here on a westcoast bike trip. We checked in and a guy struck up a conversation with us that sounded very law enforcement oriented. I guess he could read us. Anyway, we checked into our 2nd floor room and parked our bikes near the room. Along came his van and associates. I asked what law agency he was from. He told us that he and his associates were bounty hunters and were on a training exercise. I'd never seen so many guns in a van: long guns, handguns and lots of them. How did we feel about that? Safe. Very safe! Nice room. Clean. Good price. And armed guards in room below us.

Nice hotel, it was clean and the front desk staff was very nice. We arrived at 2 am yet she was still on the ball. Pool was clean but cold. The breakfast was great and the area was clean.

After being told by econo lodge that we could use only a credit card, absolutely no debit cards, we called super 8 and the sweet lady at the desk said they accept debit cards. So we got there and she remembered us calling and got us into our smoking room quickly. The property has a very cozy home feeling with the decorations and ice cream for late night snacks. Even the landscaping was well kept and the room was quiet, clean, and we slept like rocks. Not at all what I expected from a super 8 :)

Stayed here for 1 night on the way to Zion. Checked in here late at night. This motel is a pretty big one and looks clean from outside unlike other motels. The room was good for 4 people. The door opened up to a nice view in the morning. The place feels like a quiet place. The checkout time here is 12.00 noon unlike most motel or lodges. They have complimentary from 6.00 to 9.00 am. Which we missed unfortunately. The room had clean towels, moisturizer, coffee maker, tea, coffee, microwave, small refrigerator and a TV. And great Wi-Fi. The AC was noisy. I am going to stay here once again if I am on this route.

I would give it four stars for value because it was a good deal but I give it to stars because it is one of the damn darkest hotels I've ever stayed in. Two tiny lights for the Whole main room. Just annoying. Had to use a headlamp.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, basic room convenient to interstate. Cheerful front office staff. Affordable ice cream and snacks in the office. My schnauzers slept well ;)

Great stay! Clean room, nice pool! I’m a night nurse so was very happy to see blackout curtains than have magnets on the sides! No lights came in, awesome! When I checked in early no questions, then when I checked out at 11pm I asked for some fruit for my “morning” and the staff happily got me an apple and orange! Great staff!

The super 8 in Barstow (24h) was easily identifiable on our way to the death valley from LA, and provided a large king room with everything in it, including a sofa chair where you can lay down but would not since I wonder how they clean it. Everything was not really clean, the bathtub floor is weird and we just felt like it was a bit gross. AC was working but the facade was broken. If I took into account the price (cheap) I would say 3 stars. In the end we knew that paying such a cheap price would lead to a not so great place. It did the job for one night (although we had very loud neighbors).

Decent room. Nice pool. Laundry facilities we're good, as well, with two washers and two dryers. One of the cleanest laundry rooms I've used. Breakfast was ok, too. No lids for coffee cups which was annoying.

The office staff and manager really need a course in customer service. The manager was soooo not helpful, and the woman on in the morning was unfriendly and, I'm pretty sure, dishonest. I had a reservation for the trip back, and wanted to see about a different room (see below for why). She said the room I was in was the only one on 1st floor that allowed dogs. But there was a dog 2 doors down from me that was sure no service dog; the dog lunged at me & my dog as well as at me alone; the guy could barely control the dog. The room was large and comfortable — except for the bed. I'm not fussy about beds, but this was the worst mattress I've ever slept on. I tried moving over to find a better spot and found myself moving uphill — and I weigh less than 100 lbs. Also, the upholstered chair was soiled. I only had coffee and OJ from their breakfast — the OJ was watered down. The pool was quite pleasant. One more thing — in the midst of this desert/drought area, they are maintaining 3 lawn areas and were watering while the sun was still up. And there were pine needles on one of the sidewalks that made it really slippery.

Not much you can ask for, Hitel very basic but very clean sheets and decent service.

Nice place! Front desk was really friendly and fast. Room was clean and warm. Our room had palm tree pictures on the wall and a cute elephant made from towels sitting on the bed when we walked in. Very quiet night. Breakfast room is kinda small but had waffles and oatmeal as well as toast, yogurt and fresh fruit. Pool looked clean and well kept. Overall a great stay!

It was clean and really nice the workers were polite n kind recommend hotel to stay if in Barstow.

If you're trying to decide where to stay in Barstow, this hands down wins. You won't regret it. Loved my stay.

I had no problems with this Hotel what so ever. There was no problem checking in and out, and the rooms were totally okay for the price that I payed. The pool closed at nine though.

So perfect in comfort, cleanliness, classiness, and professionalism. The manager makes sure he understands what the guest experiences by choosing a different room to stay in each time. He wants you to feel welcome and he makes sure you have the best stay. I asked him if I could share what he told me and so this is his testimony to going the extra mile. We loved it and will stay again.

Like it the place to stay. Even very convenient place to stay between Las Vegas to Los Angles.

We made a pit stop here on the way to Disneyland. I went through Priceline. I thought I was set for a double queen room but "double room" meant 1 queen bed to occupt 2 people. When I checked in, $6 was added to my charge and I was put in the propper room. We were close to several eating options and they offered the morning breakfast (my expensive Cali motel didnt even do that! ) The room was clean and the beds were VERY comfortable! My only complaint would be the water pressure, but I assume that has something to do with the extreme drought and water restrictions. I completely recommend this motel.

Was pleasantly surprised… the pictures on here does not do it justice… the room we had was upgraded with fairly new carpet. We were just looking for a "cheap" motel to crash as we had stayed at the Hampton Inn the night before in San Diego and it was so bad that we didn't want to be disappointed again on an expensive motel and we were very happy with our room, it was clean, quiet with fluffy new towels a great shower head and loved that the air conditioner was quiet. We will be staying here again.

This is actually a pretty nice hotel. Nicest super 8 I've seen. The price is excellent and the rooms are very clean. Free Wi-Fi, HBO, and breakfast. I'll be back for sure.

Aweful costomer service. Worst ived experienced in a while. I ask for extra pillows and the front desk would not bring it up to our room. Insisted on us going down and pick up the pillows. Front desk has a very bad attitude. Stayed here Nov 6th 10:15pm Will not be staying at super 8 in the future.

Clean, comfortable rooms. We came in at 2 am so the 12:00 check out was perfect for us. Staff was great, hotel clerk was a local. Pool is clean. It's obvious they take care of their building. I almost couldn't believe how little we paid for the room. Great experience overall.

We ♡ this place and there friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, clean pool, stayed here twice. First time during the summer. Oooo nooo air conditioning unit failing. Called the front office. Minutes later here comes one of there friendly staff with a brand new air conditioner installed in minutes. My son and I love it. YES for sure to return soon.

Straight up good people running location. I did one night then explored Goldstone for a day. This is a cheap place to stay for a quick in and out. I did not try anything else or leave room. Beds were alright and clean. Floor was worn down and bathroom was clean.

BEWARE, BED BUGS! I stayed there for a week for work. I thought I felt itchy at night several times, but was working 13 hour days and didn't spend much time worrying about it. By the time I got home I had several bite marks, but wasn't sure where they came from. Sure enough, while unpacking my bag of clothing, I found a bed bug crawling around. I had stayed in no other hotels recently and was working outside so I would not have come in contact with them anywhere else. When I called the hotel back to tell them they have bed bugs they just tried to claim I must have gotten them from somewhere else. I'm completely appalled. They seemed very nice and helpful while I was there, but that changed quickly.

This is a surprisingly nice Super 8. The decor in the room was very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean but cold — understandable being that is the beginning of October. The breakfast wasn't horrible, just the basics such as toast, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. We were also grateful that the coffee was actually drinkable, unlike the unrecognizable hotel brown water you sometimes get. ;) The "gym" was full of mostly broken/non functioning equipment but we only noticed that because it's attached to the laundry room. Would definitely stay here again.

Cheap, clean and quiet motel with friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi with good reception, pay-TV and breakfast. In the direct environment is everything the heart desires. All major fast food chains, the Tanger outlets and cheap petrol stations.

I was hired with Motel 8 and then was told I would receive a call that weekend about coming in the following week, well I never got a phone call to come back. (training went great) I called their hotel manager multiple times asking about my pay for that day and all my calls were being forward to his voicemail, I called and called and called. I finally contacted Corporate. They asked me to give them till the 15th to get ahold of the manager there to get me my pay for the time I was there. Basically this manager is not paying me for my time there which is against the law! So I will be contacting the BBB and the Labor board if I do not hear from the motel manager come April 15th. What is worse is I did not fill out a W2 or anything cause he told me to bring in my ID and Social (which I did) and all of a sudden he was not going to be there. The manager is shady.

Great stay! I've looked around the Barstow area for a good hotel for a good price, this is by far the best deal! The rooms have been remodeled and the staff is very friendly. I plan on staying for another week. I was told every room has a microwave, fridge, hair drier, coffee pot, HD TVs, and Com-Cast Cable. The gym is a bit small, with new equipment, but nobody uses it, and there is only one washer and dryer to use. I was skeptical until I checked out the room. Great place. Worth every dollar.
