Great golf course, fast greens, excellent practice area. You have a great combo of water, sand, desert hole layouts. Fairways are full of more grass than most courses.

The staff at Legacy is always spot on. Greeted when walking up with bag, and said hello to by every staff member as you walk by.
The course is rolling quick and the greens made for a 27 putr day. Bammm… if you have not played here, put it on your list. Thanks for a Great Day of golf.

This course has the worst PRO SHOP. They sent confirmation email and I reply to cancel it because it does not state that I have to call them to cancel it. So I thought this e-mail address was valid. But they charge me no show. They said I had to call them to cancel it but how should I know! I will never play this course again! Terrible customer support.

Consistently sone of the nicest courses, grass, and staff in Phoenix. Other courses have good years here and there after renovating. Legacy is always top quality.

The Legacy Golf Course in my opinion is one of best semi-private course in Phoenix. It is very well maintained, it has personality, excellent playability for all levels of skills and good enforcement of golf common etiquettes and club rules. Staff are courteous and respectful while the cart ladies are playful and fun! In other words one cane never go wrong playing The Legacy! They are one class act — unpretentious and reasonably priced!

How this place got voted in Arizona I have no idea-
Yes its a very nice course with a great layout but at the sametime the Fairways were soaked and the bunkers had little to no sand!
Luckily this was a Fundraiser round for a great cause, as I dont see myself coming back anytime soon!

Well maintained course and carts. We reserved 3 sets of women’s
clubs and confirmed the day before. When we showed up they only had two sets. One of the sets was missing a hybrid club. They acted like they were doing us a big favor by only charging for 2 sets.

Great place all around… my teenage kids and I had a wonderful time. The room was spotless and the food was descent. We will go again for sure. Thank you.

The staff for the golf course is always kind and do a good job of taking care of me each time I go and play. The course is a nice lay out, not difficult and nice to score some birdies. I like the greens here and pace of play seems to be good as well.

The Legacy venue and the Legacy event team made our wedding day an absolute dream — we are beyond happy that this is the place we selected for such a special day. Kelli is a kliier-event coordinator and incredible leader! Her and the event team were kind, caring, considerate, detail-oriented, and flexible. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but having a person like Kelli by your side gave me a whole new level of comfort with the entire process. I can't even put into w…ords how amazing it was to work with this venue and team. If you are considering this venue, I encourage you to meet with Kelli, be honest about what you are looking for and let her share with you. She'll ask you the right questions and make you feel comfortable and overall give you a tour of the property will ALL of its beautiful spaces. Once you're done I think you'll realize why this venue has 5 stars — and honestly I wish I could give them more.

Good course however older gentleman with no hair at the front desk of the pro shop is super rude.

Great course. Wide enough fairways that it isn't too difficult for the average player, but some hills and well placed bunkers make it challenging. I played in mid June and was pleasantly surprised by how green and lush it was. Fast greens, but they roll very true. Will be playing here again.

What a great event sponsored by Legacy Golf Club for Women’s Golf Day! The staff was welcoming and enthused! I met some really great women I will continue to meet for golf. The food, drink, prizes, etc were all top-notch! It was a wonderful day in Phoenix!

Arrived on March 9th for 2 weeks check in was quick! Our room. Building 12 ground floor was clean and also was a recently updated room. Overall have been very impressed with the staff and the resort. The golf course is in great condition and staff at the pro shop are great! Fun times will be back!

The Legacy Resort and golf course is nice… the grill is atrociously slow. The people seated in the picture had already eaten by the time we arrived, there was plenty of staff, but the server was really nice and courteous. The burger came with grilled onions… look at the picture. And, after waiting 40 minutes for the food to arrive… they didn’t cook one of the orders (the cook completely forgot). I’d show a picture of the hungry patron, but you get the idea. When the quesadilla arrived, the cheese was not melted. You can’t make this stuff up! The pool and pool area are really nice. Lots of chairs, great swimming area, and fun games. Highly recommend the pool.

My husband and I got married at the Legacy this past Friday and could not have had a more beautiful, perfect wedding. Kelli and her team at the Legacy made the whole process so easy and stress free. Kelli was always quick to respond to us and never made us feel like we were bothering her with our many questions. She was always great with advising us based on her previous experiences, but still gave us the freedom to make our own choices. Kelli and her partner Lindsay handled everything the day of, leaving us to relax and enjoy getting ready. Every single one of our guests were so amazed with how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran. We feel so lucky to have found the Legacy and would recommend it to anyone!

The Legacy Golf Club: This pleasant golf course is an excellent stay-and-play venue just south of Phoenix. The Legacy's lush green fairways, forgiving rough, well-placed hazards, and manicured greens offer a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

6:15 am and the pro shop just called to advise regarding a frost delay. Wow, I have been golfing in Phoenix for the past 7 years and this is the first course to call, as you usually have to sit at the course and wait. Awesome, now I can go get breakfast on the way there and look forward to an great round this morning.

Listened to the South Community College Day Jazz Band perform for the annual membership meeting. Very Kool!

We have owned Shell for over 20 years and are now points members. We have used both at Orange Grove Villas and Here with our shell vacation points. Wyndham purchased it recently and claim they will upgrade, but last time we were here, there were @ 20 garbage bags full all over and around trash cans for 2 day, stinking before I called to complain and they sent one over to pick it up. I am most unhappy over them charging extra maintenance fees every stay we use it. We already pay @ $1, 000. Per year (went way up over the years! ) in maintenance fees! But, if we come here for three days, which we did June 21-23, 2016 we pay an additional $49. M. Fees to stay. Then we came back for a one day visit only 2 weeks later (on purchase points-dash away deals) and again another $49. Maintenance fee added on. Last time, we attended the owners update (I mean recruit you over to these points and more money) but did not buy more or additional anything. We are supposed to have 2 stays a year for free of maintenance fees. They tell us, 'you used them'. No we did not. No one but the run around seems to care. The pool party/Bar-b-que was cancelled for today, 4th of July. No explanation of why. Well now, we banked on that for dinner. Unlike many timeshare places we have visited over the last 25 years, this one has very few things to offer besides golf or pool.

Amazing rooms and staff. Rooms and clean and well maintained. The bed is incredibly soft. The restaurant and bar are top notch as well.

Played golf there. Courses beautiful and the staff was excellent. A little too much water on the course for my taste. But I would definitely recommend. Great facility.

Dinner and drinks were great! Just wish they have the a/c lower. We asked if they could turn it down and they said they couldn't. It was too hot inside. Clark was our server and he was amazing!

Legacy is a diamond in the desert. Great restaurant/bar and golf course. Staff is very friendly and willing to go out of their way to enhance your experience. Highly recommend.

The resort is amazing. It's close to quite a lot in Phoenix, the rooms are spectacular, with the exception that they are difficult to block the sun out of when trying to sleep in past sunrise. The people there have been very friendly, and more efficient than most if not any other place I have stayed at in the past.

Wonderful place for our large family to get together. Quiet and clean. Nice size rooms that include a washer and dryer. Also a private covered deck or patio with lounge chairs. Trees, flowers and lush green grass. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas by the pool and a nice small pool for the little people. Shopping is a quick drive away. We did have a bit of trouble getting fresh towels but overall a friendly great place for our family to get away together.

Course was emaculate! … fun to play and not too difficult. There's wonderful weather in March. I rented a lady's set of clubs and they were in great condition (which is not always the case). My game included breakfast and our was delicious. Great value for everything I got!

Stay away if you want TV or Internet access with the room. They are breaking the working system and adding an in room system that doesn't work. Not even the desk knows what the channel lineup is supposed to be. If it worked. The Internet is slow and requires a login page every time you turn on a device. Also, ants.

I was there for a get together with close family. Very nice.

We arrived on Friday evening. The staff at the front desk was friendly and the food in the clubhouse grille is fantastic! Our experience went bad with bugs in our room! I understand that this is a desert resort. I live in the desert so I know that we sometimes have to deal with bugs. Unfortunately I went to the front desk and was not allowed to talk to a manager. I spoke with a supervisor, she stated that they would send housekeeping and an engineer over immediately to spray, clean and adjust the seal on the front door as the gap at the bottom was approx 1/4" and you could see where the bugs were getting in. We were out of the unit all day and when we came back, there had been no housekeeping and the door had not been adjusted. I called the front desk and again was not allowed to speak with a manager. The engineer came right over, stood in the door and asked me what I would like him to do because the fix requires that he takes the door off! They had ALL DAY TO FIX THIS SITUATION AND DIDN'T! I'm very disappointed with this resort as a Shell owner! As Shell owners we pay a lot of money in maintanence fees each month. The resolution we were offered was to pack up our condo and move to another one in 110 degree heat. Not a satisfactory resolution in my eyes. We will not stay at this resort again. The staff seems to have no concern for the fact that this shouldn't be happening!

Overall, the resort is pretty decent. Our bad experience happened when our air conditioner went out. It took almost an hour for a maintenance person to stop by the room and look at the control and say, "yup, it's not working. " He said he'd bring in a portable unit which took another 45 minutes. It took another trip back to get everything squared away with the unit stuck in the bedroom and vented out the window. We also got a fan as well. It all took almost 3 hours and it was the very last night we were there which meant getting into bed well past the time we had planned on. We couldn't move to another unit because none were available. It did not cool very well and the temp hovered around 80 all night long which really was unbearable and we did not get much sleep. No one ever checked back with us to see if this was adequate or to see how we were doing. Overall, very poor customer service. I will give extremely high praise to Robin, who was a security person on staff. She was extremely friendly and bent over backwards to apologize for the inconvenience we were experiencing. She made a pretty unbearable situation better. I do not understand the lack of concern on the part of the resort staff. The rooms could use some updating, but they were comfortable and clean. The outside stairways leading up to the rooms could really use some cleaning. The pool area was well kept and very comfortable. All in all, this is a good place to stay.

So annoying, they charge for everything. They have house keeping only every 4 days. They also require tee time cancelations within 24hrs or you have to pay the full price. We did a time share meeting and earned 4 free rounds of golf, little did we know that it didn't include the $25 cart fee per person. We accidentally lost one of the coupons while changing rooms and they refused to give us another copy of the coupons. The golf course in the winter is real nice and in great shape but the pace of play is terrible. We played two rounds which we started at 2:00 and couldn't finish either of them, one of them we only got to the 16th hole. Early checkout also requires full payment of the price of staying. Just terrible. The rooms are terribly outdated. The Wi-Fi works and is decent speed. The whole resort is very old fashioned and is not family friendly at all. On weekends it is very hard to find a parking spot if you come back late night. They even charge extra for a roll in mattress. We ended up moving to Squaw Pointe Hilton which was a 100 times better. I'm never staying at a Wyndham hotel/resort ever again.

The staff went above and beyond their duties to make sure we had a good time. AAA++++++ I was able to purchase my favorite Hole Hunter Industries hat featuring their infamous Pin Girl on the front of the Flex Fit hat. Hole Hunter Industries donates part of all their proceeds to promote Prostate Awareness in the community.

Great golf course. Open fairways with challenging greens. The $50 breakfast with back 9 was a great deal! Awesome breakfast, range balls, and an enjoyable 9 holes.

We have stayed here several times and find it relaxing. The one problem I experience every time is leave out for the evening and never find parking any where near your unit when you come back.

Way back 2011, My family and I went for a vacation and we totally decided to check in at this resort. The stay was really fun, the kids really enjoyed the pool. What I really like at this resort is there room. It was so very beautiful and the cozy. It's a relief and very relaxing moment for me and to my family.

Avoid the restaurant unless you have a timeshare coupon to eat for free, the food is pretty decent but should be much better at the prices they charge. The rooms are nice and the beds are okay but a little hard and my back ached the next morning. The first suite had a funny smell but after being moved it was fine. If I come back I will bring a nice air mattress to fix the bed issue and not eat at the restraunt. There are plenty of fine dining restaurants in the area that should be enjoyed.
