We've been coming here on and off for 15 years. The staff is always helpful. This time we were not fond of our room and Elena at the front desk worked to find us what we wanted. It can be crazy at the falls pool area during peak and on the weekends, so if you're looking for quiet and relaxing, I'd try one of the other pools. Lots of kids running around in and out of the hot tubs. We've been here when it's wall to wall people in the pool, but this was our first trip in November and it was refreshingly more peaceful. Janet, at the Cascades bar has been here for along as we've been coming and we always look forward to her friendly smile. You can find hiking paths right from the property if you're into that, which is great. Parking can be challenging if it's busy, especially if you're in the upper buildings, but the sunsets from your balcony are awesome. Finally decided to hit Different Pointe of View restaurant this time, but could not get in… book that early if you know you're coming.

This hotel has a great staff, very kind and sweet people, but my room was extremely dirty. The bathroom floor was sticky, the tub with stains. The bed sheets smelled like dirt and the quilt between the sheets was extremely dirty too. The people of housekeeping never came to clean my room. So disappointing.

This is an AWESOME family resort. Reasonably priced, great and reasonably priced food — awesome pools. The golf course is top notch.

The rooms were very nice, once they open the dining experience back up it will be worth the visit. Not having an upscale food choice really dampened the experience. Other than that… beautiful views and great pool area.

Great pools, food and bar!

Pool was not prepared to handle the amount of people at it. The only restaurant open was at the pool. Pool manager hide in back even when there was problem to never be seen and didn't once apologize for my issue. So disappointed! You also need to o have a car because food is limited. No restaurant was open for dinner last night. Limited choices for breakfast and lunch too. No menu in the restaurant that was serving breakfast and lady became upset when asked what was on menu.

Only drawback was our neighbors smoked out on the balcony all night and smoke came right over and into our room.
Keeping the patio door solved the problem but would have been nice to enjoy our balcony seating area and view.

I hotel was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The amenities were fantastic. The parking situation was atrocious though.

This was an AMAZING place to spend my surprise birthday. The perfect getaway with a breathtaking scenic view from my spacious suite, I especially enjoyed my tranquil moment at the Tocaloma Spa and Salon Thank You ladies, especially Sara you were amazing. Everything was great from the friendly customer service to the prompt valet/shuttle service.

The staff was great so many different pools for pools are wonderful the park is amazing and recommended 100% it's very relaxing I enjoy the mountain views it was just great would love to go back soon.

I absolutely loved the text messaging concierge! Equally wonderful were all of the waterfalls throughout the property. And the food was outstanding, no matter which restaurant! The choice of pools, depending upon your mood, was wonderful! From Family Pool, to adult pool, to toddler pool, it had something for everyone. Oh, and did I mention the golf and the spa?

Beautiful resort in the hills. Checked in, and got to our room. It was beautiful, very clean! However, no elevators. My husband had back surgery a few months ago and cannot do that many stairs yet. I went back to lobby to explain. They were happy to find us another room in the main building so he could have an elevator, even though those rooms are slightly more expensive. They waved the additional cost without blinking an eye! Staff is so very nice! And rooms are beautiful and clean! Enjoying our stay-cation!

The restaurant itself is pretty but when you look closer the carpets need replacing and several of us noticed how dusty the beams in the bar are. My salad was good but they served it on a plate with a large chip out of it. Ladies working in the bar area aren’t very friendly but our waitress, Julie, was funny and sweet. Lastly they have these gorgeous beveled glass windows that unfortunately were filthy! Seems like management needs some work or change.

Great place to bring the family. Beautiful views and great customer service in the whole place. All the way from the time you walk into the Front desk till you check out! Don’t ever leave anything on your patio though. Our neighbors stole everything off it at night while we were sleeping. Including my boom box! Karma will get them!

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! I I was there for a conference and decided to make a staycation out of it with my family! It was a very busy weekend for the resort and the staff was top notch, Very nice and accommodating! The rooms were very nice too! I love how all the rooms are suites! I was there with my two little children and husband. We were able to keep the baby in the pack n play in the living room while she napped and closed the door to the other part of the room where we were able to relax and watch TV. Lots of pools on the property but we really enjoyed the water falls pool! My son had fun on the water slides! Lots of lounge chairs and the pool side service was awesome! We are having a conference there next year too and I can’t wait to stay again!

Very nice place! Staff is so friendly and willing to help. Beautiful views and scenery. Rating 4/5 because the bed was really uncomfortable — I was expecting a much nicer bed/pillow situation. But lovely stay, amazing views and water park!

My family and I travel from the Los Angeles and Inland Empire area every year for Labor day weekend to stay at this wonderful resort. This year it was 9 of us, and as the years before, we could not have had a better stay. The kids love everything about staying here… the adjoining suites we were in… the family pool, and the Water Park… and it is centrally located close to everything else we want to do in and around the city. This year made our 27th enjoying the luxury of this piece of heaven… even though the Point had a name change, and some internal changes… there was nothing about this resort that would change our minds about staying year after year, after year! Why don't you come and join our family any Labor Day weekend (Thursday through Tuesday), you'll never not go again, but register early… they fill up fast!

Really nice place, welcome and well served throughout, pool a walk from the room, shuttle service to go to the restaurant or wherever you want. Fantastic laundry, washes and dries in a very short time, gym, sounds and pool all grouped together. Really very good catering service. Definitely a nice resort.
Rooms are very spacious and really complete with any comfort. Two TVs a sofa bedroom and bathroom, giant closet.

Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was very nice. My only issues were the mini fridge is FILLED with stuff that you'll obviously incur a charge on your bill if you take. That's fine, but there is no room for any personal stuff like water and you're left shoving stuff aside to fit even a few bottles of water in there. Also, the TVs are very dated. Good experience otherwise.

This is a beautiful, historical resort. We enjoyed our stay here. It is difficult to find parking, which makes it challenging. They do have shuttles to help navigate around the resort, which is helpful. I did feel a little uneasy when we did have to walk around as the driveways are so narrow it is scary with kids. Pools are fun but the drinks and food is way overpriced. Worse than Vegas pricing or at a Cardinals game.

Worst customer service. Got to the hotel early to make sure I got a room close to conference center. Was assured I would get a room soon. Three hours later was told I had a choice of the farthest room from The conference center or wait several more hours till everyone else checked in. Went back five hours after I initially tried to check in and manager told me to settle for the room I was originally assigned or take a room under construction and wake up to jack hammers at 6 am. Everyone from front desk to managers had a take it or leave it attitude. Hilton is going down hill. Have better service at motel 6.

I loved the pools, the room was nice and clean. The view was beautiful the design was cool and it was a fun place to lounge in the sun.
The service wasn’t very good. I ordered a beer for my husband and a margarita for myself and they where in tiny water glasses and it was $30! The pools are falling apart and need renovation. They also had a very expensive stocked mini bar. I was so afraid my kids would get into the $5 candy bars and it was $15 to get it unstocked. I just felt like everything was expensive. The beds where way springy and uncomfortable.

The room was nice and staff was great but… the pools were so dirty, very cloudy, found a pacifier, many lime wedges, paper towel and hair at bottom of pool while trying to enjoy the pool with kids made it hard. There was many cracks in the concrete where the chairs were filled with mud and hair that you didn’t want anything to fall off the chair. Our room was by the adult pool and the noise was loud until 1045. Spoke to staff they said they will address the pool condition and hope we come back. Not really feeling it was worth all the money we spent for room and food while there.

Pointe Hilton was a very nice resort from the get go. The location was good and the variety of activities at and around the resort were great. The room was also conveniently located close to our car which made going out to do things much easier. The room itself was very nice and had a separate room to watch TV in case some people wanted to sleep. The washroom was clean and very nice to use. The balcony, however, was not the greatest but we didn't use it due to the heat in the area. The only "complaint" I would have is that the food in the resort was on the more expensive side so we tended to eat out. Overall, my experience was great and I will consider going back to Pointe Hilton again.

Nice rooms, great ambience. Courteous staff. Our room's ac stopped working. They shifted us to another room which was great. Only problem we faced was… there was no vegetarian food. As there was no microwave in the room we requested for one, which they provided and charged for. Overall great experience apart from food.

Our very first time here and we were amazed. The staff was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. Like every place, there are always hiccups but they do their best to correct it. Room was clean with fresh linens and towels and it felt inviting. Parking is tight but if you look at the terrain you'll understand. I noticed staff members walking around and folding in side view mirrors. If they see trash in their way somewhere, they picked it up and tossed it in a near by trash bin. The pools are awesome! Are kids had a blast with the water slide and the waterfalls. Our daughter cut her big toe on a rock and the staff came immediately to take care of her. Gave us free drinks and chips for the kids while they rendered first aid and took a report. Do yourself a favor if you need a staycation and stay here. Its worth it.

The rooms here and the scenery are actually quite beautiful, which is their saving grace from the 1 star, but the experience we had was quite frustrating. On our first full day here the smoke detectors in our building started going off sporadically. Turns out the main building had some sort of issue and the entire place is connected, which honestly doesn't make any sense with how far spread out the buildings are. What made matters worse is trying to call the front desk to confirm what was going on, none of the call buttons on the room phones work. When the maintenance guy came later he said oh yeah those don't work just hit 0, which I had multiple cards/papers plus the phone itself with contact information, not a one of which indicated that option. But there were plenty of service buttons on the phone well marked and labeled which did absolutely nothing. Morning 2: 5:50 AM for 10 plus minutes some construction machinery is being driven around our area constantly giving off what is generally a backwards motion beep. Honestly, when I looked out it seemed like some idiot was just joyriding the thing around the parking lot. But let us assume for a moment that they needed to do some actual work, figure out what your gonna do and make the noise when your guests aren't trying to sleep. Last thing I want on an R&R vacation is a 6am alarm that literally can't be snoozed. With some intelligent property management this place has potential to be a 4 or 5 star.

Excellent service and clean well-done rooms. This place is huge but call and a van or golf cart arrives in minutes to transport you. Pools are nice and three restaurants on site make it a great place to spend a week! Lots of great walking spaces and amazing views of the city and lots of shopping nearby. A quick 14 miles from the airport was easily done with Lyft service for about $25 one way.

The hotel was very nice. I stayed in a suite with my wife and kids and the beds were comfortable (which is always a big deal for me). They had several pools which my family had fun at. There were only a few small areas I felt could use improvement. The room did not have a microwave, and the toilet took a long time to refill. Other than these things, our stay was great!

I really do not think this hotel is safe. I sustained a bad injury at this hotel. All of the rooms in the main facility are open to the outside. There are a couple of elevators but the facility is spread out, so it is easier to use the stairs. The problem is that the stairs are stone, smooth, and, in my opinion, poorly lit. I also think they are steep. Still on east coast time, I got up early one morning and left my room to get something from a vending machine (it was still dark). That provided to be challenging because you have to walk a good ways to get to them. I think there are five vending machines in the main facility. The two I tried were out of stock of what I wanted. The stairs were very poorly lit. I slipped on the stone stairs and I took a nasty head-first tumble down four or five stairs and sprained my ankle severely (3 weeks later, it is still painful and limiting my activity). I am under 60 and in good health. I don’t fall. Bad luck? Yes, but I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. I have never fallen and never been injured in a hotel. Most of the hotels I stay at don’t have smooth stone stairs and the stairs are not as steep. Most are well lit at night; this hotel is not. T So in my opinion, the risk of falling is higher and because the stairs are stone, the consequences of falling are more harmful. Again, I think this is not a safe set up. I REALLY regret that I stayed here and I will not visit again.

Nice place. Just a few too many things went wrong. Our a/c stopped working after our first night. Not so bad because it was nice and cool. The hot tub. Excuse me the whirl pool tub was cold. Not heated. So we went to another hot no again excuse me whirlpool tub. And it was hot but no bubbles. I only say whirl pool because the front desk told me they are not hot tubs they are whirlpool tubs. She had to tell me more than once. I just wanted to sit in a hot tub with my wife as we do not have our little one in town with us. Besides all that not a bad place.

This place is decently nice. Nothing wrong with it at all, just a little on the dated side of things. But everything was clean, lots of options for the pools, spa, golf etc. The Hidden Valley pool is a tucked away gem! We spent lots of time there and basically had the pool to ourselves! Seemed like the service was slow whenever we ordered food or drinks.

Excellent breakfast buffet! Went here for breakfast (family member was staying at the hotel) we all had the buffet and none of us were disappointed. The omelette station is awesome. Spent a few hours at the pool afterwords and enjoyed prompt and friendly service from Danielle. Lots of private cabanas you can reserve with fans and couches.

Lots of pools and hot tubs. They were all over the place and just across the street were beautiful hiking trails. Everything you need is right there. Every staff member I had the pleasure of having contact with was more than helpful and extremely pleasant. Great place for a night out. The dinner has the best food in the valley.

This hotel is an absolute gem for locals during the summer months. The room rates become reasonable, allowing for the less than affluent set to enjoy shimmering swimming pools and late morning room service pancakes. The Different Pointe of View restaurant is located at the top of a steep hill and gives diners an incredible view of the valley while indulging on Oysters Rockefeller and other fancy titled foods. Overall, the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Bob Gosnell for bringing such wonderful resorts to Phoenix.

The hotel is beautiful. The waterslide is fun and several people played water volleyball. The views from each room are great. The hotel offers a golf cart shuttle service to get around this huge property, which is great because the hills are really big and it can be a workout trying to get from the pool to your room. Main pool closes around 7 and the other 8 pools close at 11. Great family trip.

If you are looking for a family vacation this is not the place. They care more about large conferences. Our family had planned our vacation so that the last day of our stay we would spend the entire day at the main pool facilities. Without notification, they decided to close the pool for the entire day for a special event. We were told that there was a conference of 450 people and they needed to use the pool. They did not care about our family of 5. My kids were very disappointed — no water slide, no fun pool, no Children's activities because we were not part of the conference. Their website is false advertising!

We had a lovely 3 day stay at this resort. We were upgraded to a cliff view suite gorgeous sunset views we actually spent time relaxing on the patio. Easter week lots of guests yet there are so many options for pools you were easily able to choose fun, kids and food poolside or quiet peaceful adult relaxing with drinks delivered. Also a variety of restaurants to choose from no need to ever leave the property. They've done a great remodel on an old phoenician gem!

We go here every year. It's a little dated but the rooms are clean and we like the feel of the place. The staff is wonderful and there is always a pool where you can relax quietly in the sun. Great coffee place in the lobby too. The pool food is great but you'd be wise to plan on going out to eat during part of your stay.

It's a little dated, but it's one of my favorite places to stay in Phoenix. The outside rooms are built into the side of the mountain. Some of the rooms have it where you can walk out your door right onto a trail that will take you up the mountain. Great for beautiful morning hikes!

Excellent experience in their restaurant. Great food mixed in with a breathtaking view of the valley. We ate a delicious three course meal sitting at a table by the window. Any time you look up, you see a shimmering desert oasis light up the night. After we finished our meal inside, we moved to patio outside for coffee and dessert. A cool breeze brushes over you while having great conversations and mouth watering Creme Brule. A most excellent experience that makes me look forward to doing it again.

The hotel was nice but at the service level we found ourselves ill, with reception by rude and ill-disposed staff.

All I can say is what a view, fantastic grounds that are well kept. Wish I could have played some golf. The work staff was polite and energetic. A place I would love to visit and stay again. Also very kid friendly.

We went to Different Pointe of View for a birthday dinner, and it was AMAZING! The service, the food, and the view were all incredible! Highly recommend the pork shank. It will melt like butter in your mouth. It's so rich with flavor. I'll be taking family and friends here when they visit from out of town!

Very dated Hilton. I booked the room thinking we would get great service and a nice room. Booked a two queen bed. Once in the room the beds were methodically squeezed in a the small room so that the beds were two feet apart and half a foot from either side of the walls. This Hilton and the grounds it resides on seemed like it was an apartment complex at one point and Hilton bought out the place and tried very hard to make it a resort. The wallpaper old tacky appearance, the shower grout looked like it had been painted over with white paint to cover the dirt and mildew that was previously present. The bathroom was only 5ft x 5ft space with the tub and toilet also squeezed in. The sliding door between the living space and the bedroom was worn from the imperfect fit, plus it was hard to slide close. The white paint on the door frames were thickly layered to hide imperfections and peeling still. We also got the room on the north side of the Hilton resort, so there was a garbage or delivery truck that woke us up early in the morning and copious amount of ruckus. To top it off the view was awful with a run down building at our balcony. Breakfast is not include with a $250 stay… sad. Not a resort of any sorts. The staff was impolite not very bad, but enough to notice. Not worth the stay.

The views… Geez, the views alone are enough to make your stay worth it, but the hotel staff makes it their goal to exceed your expectations daily. Between the constant communications and a genuine willingness to serve and accommodate, it's my best guess that they rarely miss that mark. The rooms are fairly spacious even at the lower tiers, and the housekeeping staff is super responsive at any time of day. The concierge loves her job, and loves the people she works with. There's always a lot going on, but in spite of that the staff is always personable and accommodating. I absolutely recommend visiting the on premise restaurant as the view while dining on a clear night is breathtaking, and somehow makes the good taste better. If I had any complaints, it would be that my bed wasn't the most comfortable thing I'd slept in for the price of the room, but I didn't do much sleeping anyway. If you get a chance to go, definitely do…

Our room was very comfortable with a nice sitting room comfortable for four. Great king sized bed. About 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Great restaurants and customer service. Lots of pools and hot tubs. Used room service and the food was just as good as eating in their restaurant. We will definitely be back.

A great place to stay for a few days when you just want to get out of the house. The rooms are nice and cozy, they look much better inside than what's presented by the outside of the building. The amount of little pools across the complex is a nice thouch too, especially the sunset pool that overlooks the west for a great sunset view. I know this is a resort aimed towards slightly older people, but I'd enjoy a few more slides/etc around.

I booked a meeting for work at this Hilton, and overall had a great experience. I worked with Courtney Townsend for the past month or two in the planning process, and she was very helpful through the entire process. The meals were delicious, the staff was thoughtful, and the team that took care of our group was very accommodating. There were some unforeseen costs that I accidentally authorized without having seen the price, and they worked with me to get that sorted out. I was happy to work with Courtney, Tom and Adam in A/V, and Michael as our dinner captain. A great team — and we will be returning for future meetings!

My family recently stayed 5 nights. I was pleased with the exterior of the resort and the pools were amazing. The cleaning staff was great. I was not impressed with the room. The fold out bed was very cheap, and uncomfortable. The bathtub drain was clogged when first used and I needed to keep reminding the staff to help clear the drain before the front desk finally sent someone. Also… watch for the hidden resort fees that are required to be paid, but we not disclosed by a 3rd party online booking company. Imagine my surprise when the resort said they needed to charge me an additional $$$ ontop of what I paid for the room. Overall, a decent resort, but would not be my first choice.

The view is beautiful and everything is really clean. The staff here is excellent. Fantastic food, lots of pools, and easy access to hiking. There is free shuttle service to get you around to the resort amenities, and the food has been fantastic. I do have my two and a half year old with me. The rooms are not remotely kid-safe as the only way to lock the door so he can’t escape is with the latch, and that allows a gap large enough for him to smash his fingers in the door. He also keeps getting in to the mini bar because it’s got candy stocked in it as well as his milk (he’s not going for the tanquery). You can have a minibar attendant remove the items, but that’s $25, which seems a bit crazy. Because of the terrain, it’s difficult to navigate a stroller around here, so we have been relying on the shuttle service more than I’d like to, but they’re always great, fast, and full of information. There also isn’t anything to do near the resort other than hiking, so if you’re wanting to get out and explore Phoenix, this isn’t a good Home base. We are loving the pools though. There are nine of them, including a water park. Earlier we relaxed at the pool build into the side of the cliff with spectacular views.

I stayed at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort for a two day work conference being held in the hotels conference space. First this is an all suite hotel, so all rooms come with a living space and a bedroom separated by a bathroom. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The name of this resort "Cliffs" is not a lie. The entire resort is located on the side of a very steep hill. My room was located in building 24 which was the furthest up the hill. While this provided me with outstanding views, the walk up to the room could be treacherous. But no worries because the hotel provides around the clock shuttle service to anywhere on the resort. There were many pools in the resort they all looked nice, but I had very limited time outside of the conference and as such only got to experience the main pool which is very large. Again it was clean and beautiful. Check in and out were a breeze. Hope this helps anyone who's looking to stay here!

Nice resort. Loved the fact that there were about 4 pools. Some have heated water as well! The rooms felt a bit old but not too bad. My room phone didn't work but no big deal. They should definitely give toiletries (at least toothpaste) on arrival. This is a big resort and you are ferried around in shuttles which are fun! Kinda hilly so hard to walk around. They should also add some snack vending machined.

Place is beautiful. The staff who work on the golf course who take your golf carts in are THE WORSE! After hole 18 my father in law started getting terrible sock on front of the drop off area. He started blacking out and went pale. I ask the staff to call 911 and they looked at me and started helping other staff. I kept yelling at them while I was on the phone with 911 to move the golf carts so the emergency response crews could see where we were at but they just kept going about their day. I MOVED THE CARTS MY DAMN SELF! Security manager was very nice and so was the young man who helped us. However, because of that last little moment that happened involving my father in law I would NEVER recommend this place. You could be dying and they won't even bat an eye in your direction. Also the snacks are more expensive than the beer.

The place is beautiful. The rooms are big and comfortable. The pools are great. I have trouble getting out of the pool using the stairs. With these pools, you can walk in and out of the pools without having to use the stairs. The staff are just amazing. They are warm and soo helpful. They made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you Hilton and your great staff. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at the Tapatio Cliffs Resort for a friend's birthday, and it was a great experience. Beautiful and comfortable room and the pools were great. The only slight difficulty was parking, but that really wasn't too bad. Beautiful views and very friendly staff as well. I would definitely stay there again.

I think the place was newly renovated because our room smelled like fresh paint. The room was nice, the bed and couch were comfortable. Housekeeping left a towel in the bathroom from the previous guest and the drain in the bathtub was partially clogged. I tried not to think about what it was clogged with as the water pooled around my feet. There are pools everywhere and our little boy loved it. The staff at the pool was very attentive and friendly. We ate dinner at one of the many on-site restaurants and while the food was good, the service was poor. There are lots of these types of resorts in the valley, I'll try others before I come back to this one.

The hotel has great views from the rooms. I have stayed here multiple times now and have always had a great view. This time around we spent most of our time out at the pool. Pool side staff was great. Service and drinks were mixed perfect. The kids loved the water slide. Overall the staff is very welcoming, the drinks are cold and the food is very good.

Close to town, but up on the hill. Good views, great pools for kids all ages. 2 slow entry pools perfect for just learning to walk toddlers. Fun for grownups with kids. Small waterfalls, slide tube 42' inch height requirement the kids say is pretty Awesome! 2 Large hot tubs, Jacuzzis. Plenty of reclining beach chairs. The restaurant serves basic comfort food decent quality. Rooms clean and stylish. The walking from place to place in the heat is only negative, you can't change that.

Beautiful, well cared for, the suites are great and the staff very friendly and keeps us to the customer.

We stayed here on our honeymoon for one night. It's the best hotel we've ever seen. Huge, 3 pools, a great return. Really good! Recommended.

I purchased the Spa and Stay package which was very misleading. It indicated that this included a spa treatment for each adult. What it actually means is, you are provided a $90 voucher for each adult. I also believe an 80 minute massage for $170 would be reasonable if the spa had an actual "spa". No locker room, no jacuzzi, no showers, no sauna. A pretty nice hallway to walk through before you change clothing in your massage room. There are so many more resort "spa's" in the valley. Will NOT be choosing this one again.

I took my husband to one of their restaurants, Different Point of View, and we had the most amazing time. The views from the restaurant and bar areas are BEAUTIFUL with picturesque backdrops of mountains on all sides. I suggest making reservations near sundown and arrive early for time to look around and take pictures before dinner. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 7:30pm reservation (summer time sunset) got a drink from the bar and took in the views before we went upstairs to eat. I requested a window table and would not suggest outside in the AZ summer. ALL the staff was amazing! This is fine dining so the price is a bit higher but it was well worth it. We chose the pre-set menu with highlighted selections for each course. We both got something different for each course so that we could try as many options as possible and they were wonderful. The shrimp ravioli and creme brulee were our favorites. :) Special thanks to Traci who made setting up my reservation a breeze.

We've stayed 3 times, always a great experience. Weekends can get a little hectic; Saturday night parking can be an adventure, but the staff is very accommodating if you can;t find a space. Suites are spacious and well kept. Falls Village is a fun spot, but we'd suggest finding one of the many smaller "hidden" pools closer to your room.

I am a local and often visit the sister hotel and thought I'd give this one a shot. Rates are much cheaper in the summer because who is crazy enough to visit Phoenix this time time of year? Overall, I happy pretty darn happy with my stay. The place feels more like a close community rather than a hotel. Check in was a breeze and staff was friendly. (Special mention to valet: Dick and Steph). Bed and living room furniture; all comfy. This location has wonderful choices for dining. I had a wonderful breakfast buffet at Pointe in Tyme. I didn't try any other spot other than the bar at the 21+pool. Pools aplenty and a water slide. 21 and over pool was nice since many locals come here with their families during the summer. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is I had to call front desk to have a banshee screaming pocket door fixed and there was a low mysterious rumble all night and I couldn't fall asleep for quite a while.

Great clean rooms. We were suprised a couple time like being given another guests keys and walking in the wrong room, then asking to lock the snacks bar so our daughter wouldn't play with them and it was a $20 charge! But the pool was fun and location great.

I'm really annoyed. We called ahead to get rates on cabanas and were offered a much higher rate when we arrived. They wouldnt honor our Hilton points. Wouldn't give us the breakfast that came with our room. Wouldn't let us bring in a snack for our daughter that has allergies. Horrible customer service. Waiter never gave us drinks. Overcharged for a kids meal. Added an adult meal and was very rude when we tried to fix it. Never again.

Our group stayed four days and ate at every restaurant. The food was great and the staff could not have been more eager to assist and friendly. The mountain views are outstanding. There are multiple pools for everyone. It is a large property and they have staff that will pick you up on a golf cart if needed, how cool is that? Went her last night for our wedding anniversary to get away from kids for the night. We did not ask for a anniversary package but when checking in with the front desk we mentioned it was not expecting anything just conversation. We left our room to go to the pool and when we got back there was champagne on ice, glasses and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a card that said happy anniversary. My husband and I were super surprised. This little act of kindness made our night a little extra special. Thank you Pointe Hilton and your excellent staff. We will definitely return and let everyone know what a great establishment you have.

Great guest service, clean rooms, great food at their restaurant. I have always had a great time. Its an annual thing for my friends and family to go when school gets out for summer.

Rooms are great. I had a two queen suite that fit my family of five perfectly. The customer service is amazing. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate some specific requests, even upon early check in. The pools are awesome, my whole family loved it. And prices for this place were on par for other close by hotels without this atmosphere and pools. My family will always stay here.

My Niece was Married at the resort, It was a beautiful wedding and Reception. The food was good and the wait staff was top notch!. My niece was able to save a block of rooms for the guest at a discounted rate. My mother who was traveling with me became ill and was hospitalized. When she was released the staff was very sweet and accommodating, the shuttle service gentlemen were on the ball and saw that her every need was met. The rooms were not nice, they were clean but we have had nicer rooms at a much less price at Holiday Inn Express. Amerihost, and Residents Inn and suites. The bathrooms are very cramped but if you fall of the toilet at least you will be in the tub instead of the floor. And if someone opens the door you will lose your knee caps. They also charge for internet. But I was at the hospital the entire stay so I did my work there. I wasn't paying $29 a day. I don't know anything about the pools and entertainment because I wasn't there. I did eat at one restaurant and the food was good. All in all It's an ok place, but not if you have to stay in the room. Pay attention! They add an automatic gratuity. Which I hate! I am a very good tipper and they don't now how well I think they did! In my case they cheated themselves out of some money.

Great service and the location is amazing. Hidden Valley Ranch BBQ is a perfect location for a private party between the hills. Rooms could use a freshen up.

This a good property for the value your paying to be at a resort. The only real gripe is that the hotel is very dated and in need of a modernizing remodel. The location is great and the restaurants are also quite nice.

Reserved on priceline and ended up with a wheelchair accessible room. For the money it was worth the stay, the room was large but lacked a tub to give our son a bath in. Older style with some updates throughout the years. While I was not able to enjoy the pools while I was there due to business meetings, they had several and all looked very well kept. I greatly enjoyed the Starbucks Coffee shop in the lobby every morning and wish I would have had to to try their restaurant. I would love to come back again when I can enjoy their golf course and hike some of the nearby trails. One negative was that the wash sink was in the main bedroom which made it difficult to get ready at 6 am every morning without waking my wife… wish this was located In the bathroom however their may be restrictions due to the type of room it was.

We been on the Tapatio last years 2015 in thanksgiving and was great the dinner — Buffet everything was Excelente! Y la Atencion de Los Mozos estuve y Busser was perfec too!

Beautiful hotel! The lay out is gorgeous. It overlooks the North Mountains so I would believe that any room you have has a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly, from the front desk, to the housekeeping. Everyone is so welcoming and extremely helpful. The pool is beautiful. There is a bar in the pool area and a restaurant on site. It has easy access to the North Mountain trails so you can go for a beautiful hike/run if you want. There are tennis courts and other amenities I did not have the opportunity to experience I live in Phoenix and I would absolutely recommend staying here, and would stay here again in the future.

My husband and I stayed here. The room was very nice, given that it was comparable to that of a small 1 bedroom apartment. The layout and design of the resort was beautiful as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy any of the amenities that the resort has to offer, but there are plenty. Downside: Just like any other "fancy" place, you have to pay for any additional services you partake in, even including breakfast. The rate you pay is a base rate, then you are charged an additional resort fee of $10 or $18 depending on the season. This fee is supposed to cover a few of the amenities, such as pool use, golf range, tennis, etc. However, if you are like us and use none of these, you will still be charged the fee. That was disappointing. In addition to the fees, the ac unit next door was so loud (resembled the sound of a helicopter) that I ended up finally moving to the living room area at 3am just to get some sleep (on the couch). BUT, if you are going to use the amenities, don't mind the fees and have a room without a loud ac unit next door, then this is the place for you. As for me, I'll just stick with the not so "fancy" places such as Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn, Best Western, etc where they include these nice amenities for free.
