This hotel suspected Identity theft was being Perpetrated against me. They did everything in their power to prevent that and I appreciate them greatly for that. I would recommend this hotel on this wonderful staffed anyone visiting the Madison Huntsville area. Assistant manager Chris York is wonderful and the restaurant food and beverage director and Jim Bradford is a delight they have great open mic singing in their bar area on certain nights and good breakfast every morning.

I stayed for 3 nights and I was having a very bad weekend dealing with personal issues. The staff was amazing and friendly. I swear they could sense I was struggling and they made sure I was taken care of and got where I needed to go. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are ultra modern and the courtyard pool is to die for! Very peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast is exquisite! Definitely will return!

Personally I wouldn't, bathrooms in the lobby not enough and dirty, I go there because I have to, not because I want to.

Stayed there for 2 nights and had to leave at 2am the second night because the room next to us made so much noise and the clerk would not do anything about it. The desk clerk lied and then called me liar more or less. Would never recommend this hotel. They have very bad customer service. The water also ran in the room all night.

We had our HOG Christmas party here and everything was great! Best food! I also stayed in a room and all that was great too! We will be back next year!

This was an awesome hotel to stay at. The staff was professional, yet kind enough to make you feel welcomed. The rooms were very clean, and up to date. The restaurant had great food and friendly staff. I will definitely be staying here the next time I need a hotel in the Huntsville area.

Easy, professional check-in. Front desk rep's explained the facility & amenities well. Breakfast included, which was also a plus. It was well set up. Room was clean. Good job housekeeping! Would stay here again, if back in the area.

I booked it because the pool looked wonderful! but after staying there three nights, the whole hotel was wonderful! The friendly staff, the comfortable bed, and the delicious breakfast!

Stayed here during my business trip to Redstone Arsenal. I was pleased with the room and amenities; the staff was very friendly. Check-in was a great experience; the young lady made sure I was a member of their loyalty program and was great with details about the property. The room was fine; bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic; I had bacon eggs and potatoes each day and they were outstanding. They had sausage and biscuits and gravy as well; I’m sure they were good too. I looked forward to every breakfast. Overall, really good place; I’d gladly stay here again.

It was reasonably priced for a week stay. Not much options for breakfast. Pool was not fully cleaned. The exhaust fans in bathroom didn't work. The shower curtain didn't stay in place so the floors kept flooding. It was nice that there was a guest laundry room so I could wash some clothes. The television barely worked. If you are looking for something for one night, this hotel is good. Otherwise find somewhere else to stay.

I have never been to a hotel with this much class. From the manager to the cook this is the best place in North Alabama by far. The rooms are clean, pool area spotless and the breakfast is wonderful! Thank you all for a great place to stay.

HOW does this place have any positive reviews?! We didn’t want to travel the full 15 hours from FL with our youngest being sick, plus we have a stop to make in Huntsville so I booked a room through Hotels. Com as I always do for room reservations. Called ahead to let them know we would be arriving around 1-2am. When we arrive she tells me we have a smoking room… no, not with 3 kids… especially a sick baby. She gives me a king room that’s “non-smoking” and as exhausted as we are we don’t mind to all scrunch into a king bed and I have a portable crib for the baby. We walk the most ridiculous route through door after door to an outside area where our room is, all other rooms we passed were interior rooms. I open the door and the smell of smoke smacks us in the face. We walk all the way back, luggage and kids in tow. When I arrive at the desk the clerk is shocked that our room smelled like smoke. Now all of a sudden she has a non-smoking double bed available! One that doesn’t smell like smoke because all interior rooms are non-smoking and exterior are smoking (yet she’s shocked that our exterior room smells like smoke? )
But I have to wait another half hour because she has started an “audit” and her computer is froze… long story short I feel like she had someone run and “clean” a room for us. I’m not staying in a half-cleaned room and at this point I have a terrible taste in my mouth with this hotel. We left and are staying at a very nice Marriott down the road!

Very nice and clean hotel. Great breakfast and house cleaning was very good. Wish I could give a 4.5 stars. The bathroom isn't spacious, but it's nice enough. Overall a great place for the price.

My family stayed here while in Madison for our son's baseball tournament. The hotel is very pretty, inside and outside, and the breakfast was great. The kids LOVED The pool and hot tub. All the staff (especially front desk and restaurant servers/bartenders) was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We also had our two small dogs with us, and they felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: comfortable beds and clean sheets. Comfortable shower. Nice daylight bulbs in room. Functional pool. Cons: Only one elevator placed in a weird place. Have to open multiple doors to access rooms. Chair in room was flat down. Bathroom vent was dirty and didn't work. I thought microwave wasn't working. But was fortunately just unplugged. Juice dispenser downstairs squirted coloured water. Will I stay here again: NOPE!

Receptionist was verry friendly and helpful. Getting to the room was a bit tricky as the elevator was at the end of a wing and not too visible. Room was very comfortable and clean. There is a bar/restaurant in the hotel that serves a decent plate of food starting at 5pm. Breakfast was pretty good and filling. Checkout went rather smooth and fast. There is a service for the shuttle to the airport which was a pleasant and short ride If I do return to Alabama I definitely will be staying at this location again.

In town for two nights for a wedding. After taking a shower Saturday morning, we realized the tub was clogged and the sink drained very slowly. On our way out to the wedding, we told the front desk. We were so tired that night that we hit the hay as soon as we returned. The next morning I called the front desk to see if the tub had been unclogged. (I had to use my cellphone because the phone wasn’t working. ) The tub had not been unclogged. They offered us another room to use to take a shower. This is happening at 9:30am and check out is at 11am. The room they offered was 180-something and we were in room 109 : (

Room was nice, breakfast was delicious, hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The distance from our vehicle to our 2nd floor room, carrying luggage and a toddler up stairs and down long hallways was horrible. Definitely need an elevator. If you have kids and lots of luggage… I recommend asking for a first floor room!

Stayed here with my sister while my nephew went to space camp. Very friendly staff & clean rooms. Nice clean pool area and hot tub. It would be nice if they accommodated those of us that do not eat pork and/or red meat and provide turkey or beef sausage for their breakfast.

The location is great. It is very close to good restaurants and things to do. The service is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are okay. They can definitely use some updates.

Everything was great nice upscale facility (above budget Hotels), food was fantastic, nice out door pool and an inviting check in foyer, but then I pulled back the bed covers there on one side of the bed was a soiled area and a hair also the sheet was wrinkled. It was obvious they had NOT changed out the bedding from a previous stay, yuck! I called the front desk and informed them and they then offered to change out the bedding, forty minutes later I had to place another call, then within ten minutes they were there and changed the sheets and pillow cases. This took way to long when your already tried and just want to go to bed. There was NO apology and no offer of compensation which at least a acknowledgement of the wrong doing would have been warranted. This took a good experience to a unpleasant one.

Recommended. Value priced hotel with great breakfast and adequate gym and rooms. I was skeptical about staying at a Best Western brand property, but this Best Western + is three times the hotel. There's a restaurant, bar, and real full breakfast (no microwaves eggs and bacon). The property is old and tired, it has the old hotel feel that is unmistakable. The lobby and meeting areas are nice. The rooms are adequate, spacious with a comfortable bed. The gym is large, but in need of some upgrades and maintenance (broken treadmill and the AC wasn't working).

Clean rooms, basic toiletries, free continental breakfast, courteous staff. Restaurant/Bar opens at 6pm. Restaurant has simple meals and basic drinks. Huntsville has a lot of great restaurant and breweries in the area so you may want to check those out, but it's still a convenient option having the restaurant at the hotel. Small but useful gym, pool and hot tub available for guests.

Spent a week in town and throughout the week never once did I experience any problems. Great staff who was always very cheerful and helpful and always had a great variety of options from breakfast to nightcap. Great stay!

Great little hotel! Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was what would be expected from a best western. There is not an elevator so that may be a consideration when booking your room. We didn't mind, we are young and able to do stairs. Also the water pressure was VERY strong. Not a bad thing, just not something I'm used to. :)

Clean and neat. As for my reason to be there we needed to be out before 7 am we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast that started from 7 to 10am, I have been in other Best Western and they usually start the free breakfast at 6am. The front desk was efficient and friendly. Great location. Would come back.

This place is a great value and my go-to when visiting Huntsville. A nicely renovated hotel of the old-school motel style, the rooms are comfortably appointed at a very reasonable price with a complimentary breakfast buffet (standard hotel breakfast fare but done very well) that is probably worth $10-15 per person by itself. Located in the strip-mall district of Madison, it is definitely not in a beauty spot; however, being just off 565, you are well situated to get to just about anywhere in the Huntsville-Athens-Decatur area pretty quickly.

Located close to Redstone Arsenal. They provide free airport shuttle, the lobby Is very welcoming, breakfast is great. The rooms are nice and the bed is very comfortable.

The sick conditioning didn't work but I I was promptly given a new room. The new room didn't have a remote for the TV but I called the desk and a new one was brought to me within 10 minutes. The remote didn't work great but it did work sosis didn't make another complaint. The room was clean and I was comfortable there. It was a little pricey in mu opinion but I guess it was competitive for that area. I would stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Madison — Huntsville Hotel on January 21st Hotel is a little older but was very clean with a great staff who were very friendly and Professional. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was a restaurant and lounge attached which allowed us to enjoy watching the NFL Playoffs in a more comfortable setting then in our room.

A pretty decent hotel at an affordable price. The full breakfast is identical to what Hampton Inn offers. Rooms are clean and there were signs of recent updates (paint tape still around bathroom fixture… Room 654). No problem with the wireless internet offered. My only complaint was that I was not aware there were inside access and outside access rooms. As luck would have it, I was assigned an outside access room. No escape from the rain, snow, wind, cold, etc. Until you are in the room… kind of a motel feel. Overall though, my week stay was very nice.

Have stayed here 3-4 times. Always good service and clean rooms. Complimentary breakfast. Also a restaurant and bar on the property, which is a nice plus, though I have not tried either of these establishments yet. Well maintained pool area, a great place to relax.

Awesome hotel. Since we stayed in November we didnt get to use the pool. The room was as pictured but, there was an added bonus of a mini fridge and microwave in the room. We took advantage of the continental breakfast and it was amazing! So many options and everything tasted great! The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will be visiting the area again and I will be staying at this hotel. Highly recommend!

Cleaned up, easy, good for rest.

I enjoyed my stay. Check in staff made me feel very welcome with a great attitude. Internet booking incorrectly gave me a handicapped smoking room, which due to allergies is a major issue for me. Young lady changed it to a non-smoking room without any attitude. She changed me to a non-handicapped room too, just in case someone with disabilities needed the handicapped equipped access. Staff made me feel at home. I would happily stay there again next time.

Love the Bartender who takes care of us when we stop in to have there AMAZING FOOD! The best HOT wings I have ever eaten so far in Madison! Great cocktails as well!

A very nice comfortable hotel. We have stayed here two or three times and probably will again when we are in the area. The staff was welcoming and pleasant and the breakfast was high quality. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi while we were there, a relaxing treat after a long drive. There are also nice restaurants nearby.

Great! In time of Florida evacuation they made us feel at home! Great staff. Excellent room! What more could we ask after 20 hrs on the road. They even let us check in very early so we could get some sleep!

Great people with great smiles. This place makes feel at home. Rooms cleanliness is very extraordinary. In short, everything is in right place and well organized. I can't wait to spend my vacation time on Best Western and Plus. Keep it up and don't shrink. I love it.

I've stayed at this Best Western twice now. It is clean, has a courteous and helpful staff, and is a good value. The overall appearance of the hotel and pool area is nice, and it has a restaurant and bar (that I have not used). I've enjoyed the complimentary breakfast one time. Variety of foods and beverages offered was above average, though a focus on the buffet set up (flow was unusual and didn't seem efficient) and the fruit options would be beneficial. Overall good value and nice place to stay.

I was told that Best Western had upgraded their facilities. They did an excellent job. The room was clean, sheets and towels appeared new. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I will stay their again if I am in Huntsville. The price was right in line with my budget. Can't ask for better.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a while. Very clean and very inviting. The room I stayed In was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Average budget hotel. Friendly staff, that can only do what the company says they are allowed to do. The rooms are clean with fixtures and furniture that is in good shape. The room is very damp and musty smelling. Typical free budget hotel breakfast that I would never choose to eat, if it wasn't free. The breakfast area tile floor was disgustingly very very sticky, even after it had just been mopped. I could feel the stickiness still on my shoes after I left the room as I walked on the hall carpet. Coffee was horrible. It twisted like one of two things, bad water, or the coffee maker and container wasn't properly cleaned. Could have been both.

Our experience with this hotel was perfect. The front desk clerk was extremely professional and pleasant, even though she was quite busy with guests. Our room was very clean, the air cooled wonderfully and the bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked just fine. We had no trouble finding the hotel, it was in a good location with easy access to local businesses. 10/10 would love to visit again.

I'm here now, writing while fresh. Clean, fresh. Not perfumed to hide odors, fresh rooms, comfy bed — solid mattresses, not super plump and soft. Pleasant, efficient staff. Excellent price for what is provided. And the spa/ bath is perfect. The ONLY down side was the installation of the bath surround seemed loose and the handle was looser than it should be for safety. I WILL stay here again.

Nice hotel with lots of good amenities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool area is very nice and well kept. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. For the price you get a lot and this is definitely where I will continue to stay during every time I'm here, which is once a month for a project.

My family and I are from Ga, and we were in Huntsville seeing the space center.
We decided at last minute to get a hotel room Sunday night because we were too tired at the end of the day to drive home after touring space center. We found Best Western and booked a room online very easily. Hotel was very clean, nice, quiet, and very relaxing. My boys liked the hot tub outside at the pool. We were surprised the pool was even open in February. Beds were comfortable, and shower was very refreshing. And finally… the hot breakfast on Monday morning was great! A great location with many places nearby we frequent a lot at home. If we come back to Huntsville, we will stay at this hotel again.

I have really enjoyed staying here. The room was very up to date. It was clean the beds were very comfortable. The pool/ hot tub were really nice. The breakfast and staff were great! Would recommend this place to everyone… p. S. We loved their pillows!

I found the customer service to be mediocre at best. Upon check in there was no explanation for the pet policy or standards. When asking where the location of my room was, given a eye roll and vague directions to the back area. A few days later while heading to the front desk for service to get more towels, I was blatantly ignored for over 10 minutes. I decided to walk away before giving my opinion. And while the breakfast is free and the kitchen staff friendly I found them to be hovering over the serving line. While trying to make hot tea, the hot water was flaky and had white particles floating around in it. It is a great bargain chain, and a must keep for the outdoor entrances. Other than that, my stay was okay.

Stayed here three nights on business. Location was very convenient for me, right on a main road with access to everything. The room was showing its age in some aspects, especially the bathroom, but overall quite nice and spacious. Good restaurant also on site, and a standard hot breakfast complimentary.

I have been staying here every year since 1999 when it was the Holiday Inn. The owner and staff have always made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will not stay anywhere else. Thanks to the owner and staff of the Best Western Plus of Madison for being the best there is anywhere!

Absolutely wonderful! The interior decorating was phenomenal. Our room was in excellent condition. The staff was great. We were greeted by the A cheerful staff Eric and Tia were on duty. The restaurant was great, even staying open later than normal to accommodate us and many others who were arriving late. As a business owner I was pleased to see their customer service was top-notch. I would recommend this to all my other business friends. If I was starting a business those two young people would be on my staff. They are doing it right!

Service was good, the van service is reliable, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. There is free breakfast in the morning and it is good.

Best hotel in the area. Great rooms good service good prices great location and safe. Hot coffee 24/7 card readers at every door to keep outsiders out. Staying here for 6 weeks.

This was the best hotel experience I've had. The staff really made everything perfect for my four night stay. They didn't hesitate to help me with anything I needed. The room was clean with just enough space. The breakfast spread was amazing as I was expecting something super skimpy. I really felt really welcome and at home. I would definitely stay here again.

I was only there one night, so I didn't really take advantage of an amenities, but their service personnel were nice. Check in and out were a breeze and the rooms seemed very clean.

While I myself was not a guest, my boyfriend and a co-workers were guests in July. They said the rooms appeared clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating but unfortunately they BOTH brought home some unwanted critters from their stay. BOTH households have been battling a bed bug infestation & no other members of the house have been anywhere to have gotten them. So the bugs have to have come from the motel. We are sorry to have to leave a bad review but feel that it needs to be done.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! The room was immaculate, the bed was great. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with eggs, bacon, sausage links and patties. Also fresh fruit and oatmeal. A 15 dollar saving included with the price of the room. You cannot get a better deal anywhere else. Best Western is number one in our book.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my 61 years but the Best Western Plus Huntsville/Madison is an exceptional experience. The room is well equipped for working on the computer and the shower has the best water pressure I have ever encountered anywhere. It is an in-room massage without the cost. The restaurant is very nice with great service and a reasonably priced menu. Every item I tried was excellent. Ten minutes driving max gets you to anywhere in the two cities. It will be my office and home away from home whenever I am doing business in the Madison/Huntsville area.

We had a corporate event at this property recently and the staff went above and beyond! We will be returning to this property for future meeting needs.

What a great place to stay. Staff is very nice, rooms r very clean and a good value. Breakfast is as good as any restaurant.

I have been to Best Western Plus and Fresh Traditions on several occasions. Every time I along with my husband and friends have had a fabulous time! Chef Jason prepares exquisite meals for special occasions like Valentine's Day which was a feast for our taste buds! The menu for all occasions includes appetizers to complete meals. We sometimes are going for just an evening out or a drink with friends. Music is always pleasant and entertaining. The staff in the hotel are very accommodating as we discovered while spending the night for our "staycation" recently. The whirlpool was enjoyable on that cool evening as well :) I recently held and event there with my Red Hat group and they prepared a special space for us, set up the tables to our specification and created a budget friendly menu for our members. We will plan our events there on a regular basis! This has become my favorite place to go and still be close to home. Give them a try for your next night out or book some rooms for your out-of-town guests. Maybe you need a meeting space for an event, civic group etc, consider The Best Western Plus and Fresh Traditions.

I've attended a couple events this year (2014) at the Fresh Traditions at Port of Madison inside the Best Western and have been very impressed! They have a great atmosphere for dinner or your event. Very pleased with our meals and service! I will be recommending to others to host events and have out of town guest stay here.
