Great staff and clean rooms. Complimentary Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was pretty solid with a variety of choices. The location seems a little remote, but it's quiet and not too far from anywhere interesting.

Fantastic hotel. We are a large family with several little ones and they treated us great. The complimetary breakfast was fresh and had lots of variety. Excellent!

The front desk check in was seamless, the room was awesome and spacious. I loved the morning breakfast and having coffee available in the lobby 24/7.

I can't really recommend this hotel compared to similar hotels in the same price range in this area. The king suite is not really a suite but rather one big room. The hotel looks like it has been partially renovated, so room decorations/colors clash. The shower was warm, not hot. The oatmeal was watery. I have stayed in other hotels in Huntsville for the same price, and both were a step up from this one. This is not quite what I am used to at a Hampton Inn.

We stayed in a suite, and it was quite spacious. The room was clean, and everything was in working order. We had to head out early, so we did not have a chance to try the breakfast. It was a nice place to sleep for a night!

While I have not stayed at the hotel, it does appear to be rather clean, staff have always been pleasant.

Hampton Inns have consistency. This was on the lower end of their consistency, but still nice. Their breakfast was cold. Cold biscuits and cold oatmeal are a little disappointing.

The staff here was very kind and helpful and this makes a very big different when away from home. However if you stay in a top floor suite be aware that the one wall mounted AC unit is not sufficient for cooling the room. The suite rooms are roomy and well kept they could just use more HVAC capacity than that of a standard sized room. The facilities where well kept and clean so overall it is still a good place to stay. Oh and there is a suprisingly good view as the hotel sits in a cove.

Stayed a couple of nights during the holiday season. The hotel is very clean from my experience. Niesha, one of the staff members at the lobby, went above and beyond with service. I had a couple of special requests for toiletries, accomodations, and food and she took care of it all no problem. She was one of the best hotel staff members I have ever seen and I have been to a few hotels since I travel for work. Great service and clean accomodations. Niesha rocks.

Nice hotel on the very edge of town. If you're going into Huntsville during busy times, give yourself some extras time to get through the mountain roads. Decent breakfast, large clean rooms.

Not enough light in the room. One lamp between the beds, one desk lamp that does not help the rest of the room. Ceiling light by the door, but is outside the room area.

My wife, child and I are staying for 3 days at the Hampton Inn in Owens Cross Roads. I'm looking at a sign in our bathroom which suggests we hang up the towels we want to keep. Yet, I look around and I don't see a single towel rack in the bathroom! I see three places where towel racks could be installed. The bathroom floor is sticky, has hard water deposits and doesn't look like it's been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. On the upside, the staff are very good, the lobby has a nice place for our family and friends to meet and chat, and the complimentary breakfast is passable. This hotel could be four or five stars, with a few changes and more attention to detail.

Everyone were great. We were running from Hurricane Irma — a very stressful time and it was like a home away from home. Thank you to all who made our stay so pleasant.

The desk workers were really kind and helping, we forgot a couple things at our houe because we were evacuating Florida from Irma and the worker gave use 4 tooth brushes and 4 tooth paste packets. She was very helpful.

Horrible horrible horrible stay… as soon as my husband and I entered the room we were greeted by dirty/filthy carpet and the walls looked as if they hadn't been painted or wiped down since the grand opening of the hotel. Also, the carpet located under the air condition unit had mold; LOTS of mold. We made a complaint at the front desk and was moved to another room and was greeted by the SAME issues in the second room as the first room. We went back to the front desk and made a complaint and was moved AGAIN. Too bad the saying, "Third time a charm, " did not hold true! Keep in mind this time we were upgraded to a suite, BUT it was GROSS! The door to the bathroom looked as if it had leftover bodily matter from the previous guests and the linen on the beds were stained. At this point, we were exhausted and made do. However, this hotel has lots of potential if management/corporate would invest into adding some fresh paint, new carpet, and better housekeeping staff. Until then, I suggest folks to STAY AWAY!

Checked in and was a loud humming noise in the room 415, moved me to another room only two doors down because the front of the hotel is loud with road noise, but still could hear humming. I have stayed at this hotel a good bit in the last 5 years, and this night was on earned points, but it has gotten worse and worse, really gone down hill with old nasty carpet and bad air conditioning, sad to see — surely this is not to Hilton's standards — they should do something about it!

I was supposed to stay at this hotel but they had an unfortunate power outage that forced us to find accommodations elsewhere. I will say that I feel like they could have done more to assist guests in finding another place to stay. We first arrived at around 8 pm to find the lights out and no one at the front desk at all. Then after a few hours we headed back and found that they still had no lights. There was someone manning the desk that time. I feel like after that many hours it would have been reasonable for one of their managers to get a hold of some other Hamptons in the area or for corporate to set up some kind of option for their displaced guests. I know that the power outage was in no way their fault and that there was nothing that they could do about that but I wish there had been more than a "Sorry, we won't charge you. " Maybe there were other circumstances that I am unaware of. *shrugs.

This place is filthy. Mold in the ceilings, black mold on the AC units. Terrible customer service. The GM of this property does not care and won't call back when asked. Will never stay here again!

This could be a great hotel if they could bring the breakfast up to the same standards as other Hampton Inns. But when you fall short of standards compared to you fellow name brand hotels, you just look bad or maybe cheap is a better adjective.

I would never recommend this place to any one! Spider webs all over the corner wall by the couch, mold all the way around the shower floor and up the wall, towels not stocked it was 36 degrees out and the furnace in our room did not work. We went to get breakfast and it was gone! We were told it was served from 6-10am. We got there at 8:35 and it was empty! We were to stay another night but we changed our minds and moved on. I sent a complaint on 18th of October, 2015… As of today I have not heard back. There fore I will be contacting the headquarters and forwarding them the same photos I sent you.

As usual Hampton Inn is always my favorite no matter where I go, exceptionally clean and friendly staff only place I stay when traveling.

Rooms big as an apartment. Staff members Amanda and Amber very professional and courteous. No question where I will stay for now on. The best hotel I ever stayed at.

The worst customer service I have EVER experienced at any hotel in my life! Alisha at the front desk never greeted me as a returning guest, or as a Hilton Honors gold member. Nor did she provide me with any amenities as a gold member. Nor was she professional or courteous. The 1st room she gave me met none on my requests and the second room was almost as bad. She is a terrible representative of your company, and I can assure you that I will NEVER stay at this property again! She actually got me so upset that I lost my temper and even became unprofessional back at her too. This is the exact opposite of what I am looking for after a long day of business travel. Shame on the manager of this property, since the management is usually displayed in the subordinates that report to them.
