To begin my review, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking into a great stay with a good customer service dept. Guest relations were horrible and nowhere near close to a 5 star hotel expectations let alone "Premium 5 star". We choose Rixos to celebrate our honeymoon because of their wellness suite and honeymoon package, which included a wellness suite with a huge Whirlpool tub and personal sauna. Unfortunately, our tub didn't work for the first 3 nights (we only booked 5 days). We called guest relations multiple times but every time they claimed that it worked perfectly fine. On day 3 we realized that tub was somehow connected to the Spa that was on the 1st floor, whenever the spa closed for the day, the jacuzzi tub would not work. It turns out we were right and the hotel accepted this on the 4th day. Once the management turned on the breakers in the spa, we got our jacuzzi working. However, that night it woke us up twice during the night because the jets would turn themselves on without any water present. We have discussed these issues with guest relations at least 5 times and have tried to contact a manager twice to no avail. This type of customer service is terrible and I would have preferred a real premium hotel to stay at rather than this lousy one. Guest relations response on day 4 was "Sorry about that, we can reserve a cabana in the beach for you". This felt like an insult from a Premium hotel, which we paid approximately $400 a night. Their second offer was to give us a 45 min free massage. I have never seen nor heard of this kind of terrible guest relations service in any pervious resorts I've stayed in. To say customer service is lacking would be kind. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a Premium experience, this could also be the reason of nearly non existent European or American tourists in resort. We learned our lesson the hard way and unfortunately on our honeymoon.
