My partner and I stayed at Club Tuana 11th — 18th May 2018, and all things considered it's a very nice place, special even. Set within a decent sized estate on an isolated corner of the Fethiye coastline, it comes highly recommended from us. First things first; the estate. It is a 30-45 minute transfer from Dalaman airport, turnoff the D400 highway along a quiet country road and you have arrived; easy peasy. Nine or ten apartment blocks dot the few acres of land that the hotel occupies; this is no ordinary set-up though — the accommodation is set amongst some of the most beautiful gardens we have ever had the pleasure of seeing; so much greenery! Palm tree lined avenues, extensive flower beds of the most beautiful marigolds, lilies and roses, all perfectly tended. A real effort has been made here, and we spent a good few hours of our holiday wandering around and appreciating it all. Our room was run of the mill but perfectly acceptable; a very clean double room with bathroom and patio; towels changed and beds made every day, and situated right next to the main hotel facilities. It is worth noting that this was a Park room, and these attract a supplement of around £50 a week, but this was well worth it due to the larger patio and proximity to the facilities. Onto the facilities then, and in one word, excellent. The buffet style food is of a very high quality, with lots of choices and the hot lunch and dinner options differing by the day; kofteh, fish, chicken, meatballs, proper Turkish doner and chicken kebabs to name but a few; and an abundance of salad, cheeses and other accompaniments are available. Have I mentioned the beautiful omelettes and fried eggs served for breakfast? All washed down of course with as much beer, wine, water or anything else that you fancy The pool area has a swim up bar, plenty of sun beds, a large covered area of shade, and importantly for us, is very laid back. The odd piece of rowdy-ish entertainment around lunch time (darts, water polo or similar) soon dissipates into a relaxed sun bathing utopia, with chilled-out tunes providing a fitting backdrop of lounging around care free. Other top notch facilities include the Poseidon cocktail bar, slush bar, three themed restaurants (which are booked at reception for any given night), watersides, disco and the main bar which is open 24/7; all of which are included in the all-inclusive basis… another from us! The hotel also has its own beach and pier, with beautiful views across the bay of Fethiye and perfect sunsets to the slight west. I could go on and on about this place, but I'm leaving it here. Except to say, if you are looking for an excellent all-inclusive holiday then visit, you will not be disappointed.
