We have just returned from a weeks holiday at La Finca, can honestly say that we have had an absolutely amazing experience. We opted for a smaller hotel just outside of town as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but close enough to visit surrounding places of interest. We also prefer a smaller hotel, we find you get a more personal experience. Must admit we feel we hit a gold mine with this place, it is situated overlooking the marina with stunning views along the coastline of Alanya, with beaches close by and the town very close, that coupled with back drop of the mountains behind made an incredible relaxing place whether you were relaxing on a sun bed by the pool looking out at the views of the marina, or relaxing on the terrace in the evening with a drink. The swimming pool was lovely and very well maintained, we enjoyed swimming in it most days. Close to lots of interesting places, cleopatra beach, Alanya castle, Side amphitheater and ruins (these are just a few we visited! ) all easily accessible very cheaply once you get hang of the bus system. We also found it very easy to get into main Alanya town where you will find all the shops and restaurants you could possibly need. There are also local markets on certain days of the week. While we where there there were several nights of entertainment put on, one night was with a belly dancer and a magician (which I’ve got to admit was really good! ) I wouldn’t expect such a small hotel To put on such, nights but it was a good way to get the guests interacting as there was a large mixture of different nationality guests staying at the same time as us… Now to the staff, over the week we got to know a few in particular and I’ve got to say every single one of them has been so welcoming and friendly, they have tried their hardest to speak English, special shout-out to both Kamil and Alaina who both worked on the pool bar and worked extremely hard to keep all the guests hydrated in what was an extremely hot week, thank you for the jokes and laughter.! Both of these employees are a credit to the hotel. The manager herself was very accommodating and seemed to talk to all the guests on a daily basis, we liked this personal touch. In all we found the whole team at la finca friendly and welcoming and because of this we had the most amazing week. The only thing I will say that there is an a lot of steps at the hotel, outside and up to rooms, and the surrounding area in parts is hilly, so if you have trouble with walking or steps this may not be the hotel for you. We didn’t have a problem but I can see how some people would. Being up in the hill is why you get the amazing views…! We will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone we can and we will definitely be returning. An amazing holiday… Until next year… ❤️!
