The worst experience that I could ever have. Dirty rooms even after cleaning, no available towels etc. I don't recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at many 4-5 star and diamond rated hotels all over the world and I can tell you with confidence that none have come close to the fantastic service that we experienced here at the White House Hotel in Istanbul. This boutique hotel is decorated beautifully and every single staff member has been so helpful and friendly. The owner is hands-on and gives a personal touch to the already impeccable service. The location is also perfect being such close walking distance to many restaurants, the grand bazaar, spice bazaar, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque. If you come to stay in this beautiful city, I highly recommend the White House Hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel in close proximity to Sultan Ahmet Square, only 5 minute walk. Great host family like setting with personal attention to needs of its guests. I’ll give it perfect 10 in hospitality and recommend to my friends even though it is little pricey.

Staff are so lovely, rooms was amazing with a balcony, breakfast was fantastic, we even got Turkish coffee with Turkish delight, in a great location close to the blue mosque and views of blue mosque, so romantic.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights in August 2016 and I really enjoyed it. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and attentive. The views from the terrace are absolutely gorgeous and it is centrally located near everything in Istanbul. I traveled as a single woman and I felt safe during my stay. Upon arrival I was greeted with tea and sweets in the cutest Turkish set, and upon my early morning checkout I was given breakfast sandwiches! The hotel is not pricey and service and the rooms don't reflect that.

I stayed in White House Hotel in Istanbul for 2 nights and legitimately liked this place, first of all, I found the room very clean and tidy and with good amenities and clean bathroom. The room for solo tourist as I was there is just fine. There is simple but decent breakfast served in terrace on roof with signature in the form of very tasty turkish cahvesi. What I most liked is their staff of young people like Busra hanum, Kemal bey, Ali bey. They are young and very kind, attentive hotel workers, very polite and helpful in communication talks. I would definitely recommend to stay in this small but cozy hotel which I found just walking-in, with great location in downtown of Sultanahmet area, very close to tramway, Hagia Sophia place, Gulhane, Grand Bazaar, they are all just around the corner step away. Stayed here for 4 nights during my visit to Istanbul. The service is exceptional. The staff are very kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable of the city and attractions. They can help with almost anything including booking tours. The space is very clean. Rooms are nice. Breakfast has good variety and tastes good. Location is great, right in the thick of the action in the old city. Lots of good food and shops nearby. Definitely recommend.

We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Ive been to many hotels in Istanbul, and I can confidently say that staying at White House Hotel was the best experience. I will be booking with them for my future visit in November. Staff was polite, helpful, and caring at all times. The hotel and room itself was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast at the rooftop was great! Most importantly to me, the hotel was walking distance to Blue Mosque area as well as the Bazaars such as Grand Bazaar.

My friend and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the White House Hotel. Our room was exquisite in white with gold trim and had a large comfortable bed and a superb three-function shower. Breakfast comprised of various Turkish savouries and sweets as well as the standard familiar breakfast items so we could indulge ourselves whilst taking in the view of the Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus Strait from the rooftop terrace. The hotel does not have its own restaurant for lunch and dinner but there are an abundance of restaurants and cafes surrounding the hotel. The location was very convenient, only a 2 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as the trams. But, the best thing by far was the amazing staff of the White House Hotel. Onur, Harry, Kader, Kemal and Cihan went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and were happy to assist us at any time. They also advised us on different tourist attractions, what times were best to visit these and also which restaurants to visit for an authentic Turkish taste. I highly recommend this hotel to friends and family and will definitely stay here again when I am next in Istanbul.

An AMAZING place to stay in the heart of historic Istanbul! We came here while stranded overnight in Istanbul from a delayed flight. Because of the amazing staff of White House, not only did we have a luxurious hotel stay, but we had about the most fun 16 hours imaginable in Istanbul! They will cater to your every need with pleasure, and anticipate what you require to make your stay perfect. Each staff member is friendly, personable, and gracious. They will each go out of their way to serve you and surprise you woh extras you wouldn’t expect. The hotel is beautifully decorated and luxurious. The rooftop breakfast area has a view of The Hagia Sofia. The location is a short walk to the blue mosque, Grand Bazaar, and historic architectural sites of ancient Istanbul. I can not recommend it enough. It’s a sure bet.

The hotel, the staff, the owner … evrythink is just amazing and realy great. Every time when I'm in Istanbul I live in White house and every time is better. They didn't have a good breakfast at the beggining (it was really boring and not good), I sad that at the recepcion desk at first time living there, and a few next time I didn't go to a breakfast, but last time I was living there I sad to my selfe, let's see if there is something new and there was a suprisse — amazing breakfast, realy good, with a lot of different food, so thank you for that. Rooms are clean, with a comfrtoble bed and a lot of roses all around :-). The hotel is a few stepps away from Sultanahmed, Grand Bazzar is near, Spice Bazzar is near, the hotel is in the middle of old town of Istanbul. If you go to Istanbul White House hotel is right decision to live in. Thank you very much for everything and hope to see you soon :-)

Very cozy, beautiful, small hotel, all the staff strive to make your stay comfortable and comfortable. The rooms are small, but cozy, close to all the attractions, walking can all get around. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good.

Simply everything. Location is excellent in the heart of sultanahmed. But what is really make thia hotel so special is the staff, so polite and caring especially Mr. Oneur. The breakfast menu is amazing. Honestly, you can try everything in the menu and wouldn't regrat. I tried to challenge their patience by asking for something out side the menu, and they responded very quickly (omlet, Turkish coffee) the serving lady is very polite and smiling and I must not forget the view breakfast terrace.

This place is a must stay. Clean and well maintained place. Excellent and extremely well-trained and welcoming staff. The terrace has a nice view of the mosque. Location is very central and the popular tourist sites are a short walk away.

I was 4 days at the White House Hotel and it was just beautiful! Everything was perfect — from the room to the breakfast, this hotel deserves 5 * +. The location is also amazing and the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace is great (on the mosque and the sea) The staff also provide a great service at this hotel. I will definitely only book this hotel if I will go to Istanbul.

We are a family of 5 and spent 4 nights here in between Christmas and New Year. The staff really make this hotel. They could not have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location. Highly Recommended.

My wife and I had an overnight layover in Istanbul and decided to book a night at White House Hotel Istanbul due to the overwhelmingly great reviews. We have to continue their record as our stay was so comfortable and welcoming, we are strongly considering a whole vacation in Istanbul because of it. The location is really close to the Blue Mosque (like 10 minutes by foot), but we loved that it's in a quiet location away from the busy shopping streets. The staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing! They were so professional with our welcome and also informative about the area. While we were checking in, they even brought us out some Turkish coffee and Tea that were in lovely cups! We truly felt that we were treated like special guests! Also, the breakfast was great! Wonderful spread of options and it isn't one of those "continental" type breakfasts. One of the nice touches was a handwritten note from the hotel owner and manager, Harun Cadirci. That was just so nice to have as part of our welcome. My only regret was not staying for multiple nights, but I will come back in the near future just to stay here again and really explore Istanbul!

I stayed at the White House Hotel 2 to 6 Aug 2017. The Hotel is impeccably clean and well managed. The Owner Manager and his staff went more than the extra mile to make our stay super comfortable and memorable. The location is ideal. Very close to Basilica Cistern, Topkapi, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque yet the hotel is peaceful and tranquil especially the beautiful terrace with an amazing view of main sites. The breakfast is superb. One of the few hotels in this part of Istanbul that offers you a spacious room and great comfort. All the staff are very friendly and obliging and special mention need to be made of Onur and Yusuf. The Owner Manager Haroun gives you personalised service and really lives up to his word that this " Your home away from home". Well done.

No wonder why this hotel is ranked no 1 on TA. It is a small boutique style hotel in Sultanahmet area, extreamly clean and well maintained. The staff is very polite and professional. Its a 1 minute walk from Sultanahmet tram station and atleast 5 out of top 10 Istanbul top attractions are on walking distance including Sultan Ahmet Mosque also called as Blue mosque, Aya Soofia museum and church, Topkapi palace, Hippodrome and basilica cistern.

Upon arriving, the doors open to a beautiful lobby, where you are welcomed with a delicious tray of drinks, treats, and flowers. You are then escorted to your room, where you will no doubt find a personal letter hand written to you, thanking you for your stay. My room came with a balcony that overlooked the locals and shops below. Every detail in the hotel just makes your jaw drop… You can tell that a lot of love and effort was put into creating this place. Harun and his staff are always very professional and gracious. Not only was this the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was also the most special experience I've ever had in one. I will always recommend them in the future. The location is also perfect, as it's in walking distance of all of the hot tourist spots, along with some surprising stops along the way.

This is the hotel you should stay at while in Istanbul. From the airport pickup to the welcoming from staff, the buffet breakfast to the comfortable clean rooms, everything was outstanding. The location is convenient, too. Thank you to everyone, including Necati, everyone else at the front desk, and "Rain" and everyone else at breakfast.

We have just returned from Istanbul where we had the most excellent stay at the White House Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The assistant manager, Necati, was extremely helpful. Our room was very pleasant, comfortable, and spacious. We very much enjoyed breakfasting at the rooftop terrace. Breakfast included a great selection of pastries, fruit, and many breakfast selections. Our Turkish coffee was a real treat. The convenient location of the hotel in the Old City made it very easy to walk to important sites we wanted to visit.

My parents from Bangalore stayed here it was the best hotel, they even call me back to India, to inform my parents are reached safe, great hotel to stay, very close to the historic sites.

Great service with very friendly staff. Central location to all major sites, on an OK street but not great with bad traffic coming in. Top floor breakfast had nice views, but I wasn't particularly taken with the food.

We just got back from our trip and was very pleased with the choice of the hotel in Istanbul. For those who need to cover basics of sightseeing, i. E. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and enjoy Grand Bazaar, there is no better place to stay. Breakfast was served on the top floor with the views of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The staff was extremely helpful and very thoughtful. They treated us more like family members than guests. Good place to celebrate special occasions. Birthday cakes, turkish delights, presents in your room and finally wine and fruits the night before of our departure. What more can you ask?! Thank you to all of you, guys, for taking such good care of us.
