Very nice and clean! the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The location perfect! 10 min to sultanahmet. The breakfast was delicious especially the borak (: the roof was very nice view!

We had the pleasure staying at this boutique hotel and we could have not been happier! The hotel location is situated within walking distance to all of the top places such as the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, etc. Hotel/rooms were very clean and stayed in a family room which is set up as 2 bedrooms and was perfect for our family of four. Breakfast was delicious and very well stocked with all the necessities for a full day of exploring. The staff from the front door man to the hotel manager, Mr. Nacar were all very accommodating and truly eager to please! Without a doubt I would choose this hotel upon my future visits to this beautiful city!

Loved staying here for part of our honeymoon. Very helpful & friendly staff, comfortable accomodations, awesome location and great value. Great rooftop terrace as well. Definitely a top recommendation! Also helped us out when a cabbie tried to scam us.

Stayed there in Nov 2017. Excellent location, near to Istanbul main historical sights, 10-15 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome and 20 mins to Grand Bazaar. Complimentary upgraded to deluxe room during our 5-night stay. Staff is very courteous helpful and friendly. Several tour options are available and can be booked through them. They can highlight major attractions for you on map and can guide you on how to reach there. Highly recommended for peaceful and wonderful stay.

We were staying from April 12 2018 for ten days with this hotel excellent service very courteous staff at times General Manager greets us at the door located at very good location food superb plus was not expensive at all I would recommend this to all the travelers to stay there Once again great place to be in Istanbul…

The hotel is superbly located near to the main sights of Istanbul, being only 10-15 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome and 20 minutes from the Grand Bazaar. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and complimentary tea & coffee plus a free litre bottle of water each day. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop terrace with a view of the Blue Mosque and superb views out over the Bosporus. The breakfast is excellent with hot and cold food, with fresh honeycomb, fresh walnuts and excellent juices such as sour cherry. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and you can book restaurants and concerts through them. You can also purchase Istanbulkarts at the hotel for travel on the trams, metro, buses and ferries. Would definitely return here and would recommend it to anyone.

A friendly professional staff cater to your every desire. Breakfasts are magnificent. Patio is close to heaven, especially at call to prayer.

Very nice. Good location for exploring the old city. Very friendly staff. It would be perfect if smoking were completely forbidem. One could smell smoke coming from adjacent rooms.

Solid hotel near major tourist sites. The hotel won't wow you like others might but was clean and comfortable for the week we stayed there. The front desk staff spoke English fluently and was very helpful with suggestions on places to go, reservations and even pointing us to needed services (local laundry). Included breakfast was wonderful with lots of options (eggs, cheeses, cereals, fruit, yogurt, various meats). Gym small but serviceable with treadmill, eleptical, stationary bike, some weights and a yoga mat. Gym open 24 hours.

Hotel Amira made our two night stay in Istanbul unforgettable. The service and people working there are so nice, such gentlemen! Ufuk, gave us great tips for our limited time in Istanbul and how we can spend our time there. Their breakfast is amazing! Great variety and very delicious. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Location is 5-10mins from the Blue Mosque, rooms were clean, air con, bathroom clean kind and helpful staff and offered good advice about local area. Would definitely consider staying again.

When we planned for a short vacation in Instanbul, a close family member recommended Hotel Amira. It turned out to be the highest rated four star hotel on most travel portals; the reviews were full of praise & encouraging. I booked a 3 night stay for myself & my family early August 2017; as a general thumb rule high expectations usually result in some kind of a let down experience. Hotel Amira is an exception. From check in to check out, the experience was superlative. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & very well kept. Customer service is top class. Buffet breakfast is superb. Every single staff member delivers 100% to ensure the coveted optimum customer experience. The Hotel Amira management has spent a significant effort of meticulous planning to ensure an exemplary stay for every single guest of theirs. Strategically located in the heart of the historic Sultanahmet locality, its proximity to key tourist landmarks like The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Gulhani parks etc is very convenient. The breathtakingly beautiful Little Hagia Sophia is barely 200 meters away. They have our vote for a memorable family stay in this fascinating city!

Simply the best. The staff was the kindest and hardest working, making sure we had everything we needed from free rides to food places, airports, tourism information, and the cleanest rooms. Cheers to the staff here. Walking distance to all the tourist sites in the old city and public transit to anywhere. Fair room service prices. Highly recommended if you want to stay in a cozy yet luxurious hotel in the heart of Fatih with a great rooftop terrace.

From beginning to end, the staff here really took care of me. It was a last minute trip for me, and they were able to help me secure a great 1-day tour to Cappedocia. I wish I had tipped the staff more. The room was lovely and comfortable. Take advantage of the rooftop terrace. The breakfast had a great selection. Nice bar and barman. Absolutely great location… but much more. Staff so friendly. Breakfast wonderful. We had a balcony which allowed a wonderful view and although the roof top was closed we got wonderful pictures from it. Within easy walking distance of all the major sites. (Blue mosque etc) the call to prayers is not an annoyance but a gentle reminder of where you are. We were so happy to have experienced this terrific place. Had a guided walking tour which was arranged by the hotel … pick up at the airport as well as drop off… couldn't have been better. Thank you especially to Ugar… your "go to man" for everything!. Clean comfortable well appointed rooms.

The hotel is very well located, both for take a taxi and go on foot to the main monuments of the city (I recommend it) If you have to scroll further. That Yes, we must always tell the taxi driver to take the Kennedy Avenue. In addition, a range of details to the client that made the stay very pleasant: a water heater with tea and coffee, bottles of water daily free, full breakfast buffet although alike every day, free tea in the dining room… But above all to emphasize two things: excellent attention from staff in all aspects and details of the free laptop Wi-Fi which makes a visit to the city much easier.
As for the room, the 301 was a bit small, especially the bathroom, but it was comfortable and was very well sound-proofed.

Finally, mention must be made, in addition to providing them with early, they also offer complimentary afternoon tea is quite widely spread.

When I arrived at this hotel I was greeted with an unpleasant smell which rocked by nostrils from side to side sending me plummeting to the ground. As usual with my experiences abroad, the staff didn't seem to care that my back was left broken in two as I lay on the front steps of the hotel. One staff member came over and rolled me to one side so people could walk past and it was only after 5 gruelling hours that someone came to my aid. He pulled my mangled self into the hotel and left me on the hotel lobby floor. A few people came over and took pictures as I became a centrepiece of the hotel. One staff member came and sectioned me off with some railing and put up a plaque 'The Old Mangled Ian'. I have now been crippled in the lobby of this hotel for over 3 years and pray that one day I will be free. Regards Graham GellAxander Grahamson.

Stayed here in 2010 with my 1 year old son and my wife. We had a great time, the staff are /were excellent and the hotel is lovely. The city is incredible and it a must visit.

Fantastically friendly and informative staff. Breakfast buffet is better than most restaurants. Room was very modern, clean, beautiful. They will lend you a free Wi-Fi hotspot to take with you on your walks around town. The hotel is only a block or two from the Blue Mosque in a safe neighborhood. I was upgraded to a room with a big balcony, which was a great spot to sit with coffee and watch the boats on the Bosporus. I'll definitely stay here again.

The staff at the Almira Hotel were wonderful. The breakfast and afternoon tea offered each day were delicious. We enjoyed the Turkish selections. The hotel and accommodations were spotless and quite comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, with the major attractions (Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and others within 10 to 20 minutes walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I agree with everything everyone has written across the web about the service at the hotel — it is truly incomparable. However, we had a few hiccups, which were dealt with incredibly well by the hotel staff, and I feel that in general, the rooms could use a little updating.

The service provided by this hotel is awesome. When we got there, Fatih from the front desk sit with us and talk about options on what to do, where to go based on our timeline and preferences. All other staff were also always friendly and helpful.

The hotel front desk do service like I've never seen before. In check-in they spent ages giving us recommendations and advice. When we asked about a turkish bath they weren't too familiar with, another guy had already called them and checked the opening hours before the guy were were speaking to found it on a map. Lots of big chain hotels taking about 'going the extra mile but this is the first time I've truly experienced it. Our room was great, bathroom well appointed and breakfast was varied and tasty. Can't fault it.

Excellent service. I've never been treated so well in a hotel. The location of the hotel is superb. The room was very comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast. Best of all: the service. The staff are extremely helpful. They give you tips that only locals could give you, they bend over backwards to help you with reservations or any kind of service you need. I and my travelling companion were both delighted with the exceptionally good service.

Nice hotel: exceptional service, comfortable and well-equipped rooms, beautiful view from the rooftop terrace, tasty breakfast and afternoon tea, and Wi-Fi that worked reliably ;) Only complaint is the walls can be a bit thin in terms of sound-proofing, but not horribly so.

Excellent service and such beautiful rooms! Made me feel like a guest in their house and wanted me to enjoy not only the hotel but Istanbul as well. Recommended places that locals go, not just the tourist spots and made reservations for me. I was a single female and felt well looked after. I've stayed in many 5 star hotels but have not had this level of service. Most definetly a 5 star hotel at a great price. Will be staying again.
