We attended my sons wedding reception on the balcony, over looking the Blue Mosque. Everything was magical, special. Wonderful experience.

The hotel in the old city of Sultanahmet, in my opinion, is absolutely deservedly considered the best hotel in the city, since it is itself the main attraction and historical object of Istanbul. On the rooftop where you can enjoy stunning cocktails, panoramic views of Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, old city and courtyard garden. And you will be very surprised to learn that once this building was the famous Istanbul prison, and now it is a fashionable hotel and a very peaceful place.

We stayed in the mamara suite — a great space for 2 and even our little one if she’s been with us. Lovely four poster bed and lots of balconies.
The service was as I’d expect from Four Seasons and what makes it my favourite hotel chain. The concierge arranged our meet & greet, transfers, dinner on the banks of the Bosphorus and a yacht charter for a few hours of peace on the water. Elegance without pretence — just my kinda place. We’ll be coming back, of course.

An extraordinary hotel end dodos senses.

This is the second time I have visited this hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location. Front Security, Reception, Resturant Staff are very attentive and are always smiling and very helpful. The Gym and Massage services are also very good, however what has let them down is the housekeeping.

This is by far, one of the most beautiful hotels I've visited during my travels. The staff is definitely the most attentive, resourceful and helpful I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, worldwide. They are all knowledgeable about the area, the history of the country itself, and are more than willing to help you in whatever way they can. I highly recommend staying here! If you can't stay, then I'd recommend at least having brunch or lunch here and experience the history of the building itself, and the charm of its staff!

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Old Instanbul Sultanahmet! Staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Beautiful Rooms, Courtyards, and Restaurants. Located very close to all major attractions, and conveniences.

By far the best hotel I've ever visited, I got deal on it so was pretty cheap, however, even without the deal I would visit their hotel again. Everyday, the kitchen would send us personally made cake bits, cookies, and other goodies, completely complementary. The garden was also so beautiful, they had so many different planets, and other beautiful things. At the heart of it, was a really good restaurant that servers you through breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If I ever visit Istanbul again I'll 100% book a room in this glory again.

Great place for accomodation. Very Close to (just next to) Sultan Ahmet, Hagia Sofia and Yere Batan Sarnıcı. It is also good for meetings. Employees are happy to welcome you (parking vale, recepcionist, managers and waiters: all of them). Prices are OK or a bit high. But it is good when you consider location and the luxury.

I just stopped for breakfast at their garden. Wow the setting is fantastic and the breakfast stood out in terms of quality products. The location is walking distance from the blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and other must see destinations.

Strongly recommend. Nice location, I can look the Aya Sophia through the window of my room, proactive crews, delicious breakfast, very comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly located to visit the old town, near the old Turkish bath which will make you forget that there is no spa at the hotel. By walking 3 min you will have the view of the nicest monument in Istanbul. The personal is fully at your services, the room service is the fastest ever. I really recommend this hotel for the first time comer in Istanbul.

Christmas decoration at Four Seasons Sultanahmet. Hotels are not just fancy buildings; people makes the hotels “great”. Four Seasons has great staff making your stay, holiday, wedding, events etc unforgettable. If you ever have an idea to have an event there, find Ms. Sevcan or Mr. Savas already organized hundreds of events.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff, they were excellent and allowed an early check in as it was available and a late check out, as well as the room service which was quick and polite… Nothings perfect but this is as good as it gets. The credit card machine had some trouble however thats possible anywhere you go and I couldn't figure out the central control of the room lighting but thats on me… Will ask next time I ever visit Istanbul :)

Five star service and staff—everybody was super kind and they really wanted to make everything special and memorable for us—BUT the hotel has some four star furniture, which needs to be repaired. Location-wise great—I liked this hotel very much.

These guys are just amazing. I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere where the staff makes it their personal responsibility to make your every need and request their personal mission. We had requested a room with either steam cleaned carpets or no carpets due to the allergies that my family suffers from. They only have one room that has wooden floors and that is the one we got! They child proofed the room for us, by placing protection on furniture corners. We got two little duckies and a mama duckie for our kiddie bath along with kiddie soap and bubble bath! How cute is that! In addition to this, the room and bathroom were clean and both TV screens were functional (in the room and the bathroom). The room had a spectacular view of the river and a little balcony with a table and two chairs. It was a fabulous place to unwind for the evening. We had a coffee machine in the room, a fresh fruit basket every day and bottled water replenished every day. The most important thing was that the staff was always, always smiling. The concierge gave very relevant and good tips for our visits into the city and it was well worth our time that we took to hear them out. The staff deserved their tips and we were happy to do so. The hotel is located centrally, so much so, that I was able to catch various prayers at the blue mosque in congregation. Especially beautiful was the fajr/morning prayer in congregation on a Sunday. The rows are heated! Never have I seen that at any other masjid.

This is a classic Four Seasons hotel — small, super elegant, very sophisticated, great decor/art, super helpful staff. King bed room was nice and fairly large. Large bathroom — deep tub, separate shower and WC. Room over the courtyard/gardens are quiet and very pretty. Smaller than the other Four Seasons, but the other one has a view of the Bosphorus.

Here is a classic Seasons Hotel, small, super classy, very elegant, and the decoration is art. Staff were very helpful. Big bed room was great, the room was big. Room was large, large tub, and separate shower and toilet. On the yard and garden room is very quiet and very beautiful. Rooms here than in other Seasons Hotel are small, but can see the beautiful Bosphorus views.

The hotel is of high standards and service. Noteworthy is the fact that the hotel uses the building of the former prison.

In the heart of fascinating historic Istanbul just steps from all major attractions, and restuarants there lies a private oasis. Highly recommend for a small intimate experience and ease to see sites.

The restaurant was wonderful. After a long vacation of eating and more eating, we decided to stay close to our hotel for Eid / Bayram (breaking the fast of Ramadan). The hotel set up a buffet style dinner of every single traditional Turkish dish imaginable, ranging from mezzes, to entrees, to desserts, and more. I counted well over 80 dishes, and each one was exquisite. I don't know how they managed that type of exceptional quality for each dish. A wonderful experience.

Wonderdul place and just 30 minutes to airport and very kind.

We didn't stay in the hotel but on two occasions visited the restaurant where we had excellent food in a modern Turkish style. It was well prepared, fresh with excellent presentation. Particularly notable for combination of flavours was the aubergine and cheese terrine served with tapenade and melon balls. Service was excellent.

Great small luxury hotel — 65 rooms — in the centre of the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. Within a short 15 minute stroll of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace Museum. Maybe 20 minutes from the Grand Bazaar. Nice restaurant and stunning views from the roof top bar. Lots of other places to eat within a 15 minute walk that are cheaper and just a good. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and enough space to move around in. Staff could not be more helpful, including peeling a pomegranate for me for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

Pleasant by the situation but hot.

This is the best hotel in Istanbul and absolutely the best hotel in my book with really the best staff really help full and is next to pretty much the major palace's and museum's! Highly recommend.
