Terrible, the hotel smells like a cigar, the customer service is lousy. The language is poor, only Turkish English is very poor. We requested a taxi service and they were sent by a little empathetic driver, he did not speak English. The beds are not comfortable, the rooms have few facilities.

Good evening, this is a 5 star hotel it is beautiful I like very much.

Of course, we like to travel to different hotels. But the Lionel Hotel convinced me even before the arrival, you did not spare any effort to answer all the questions, to prepare surprises and much more.
The only thing that bothered me a little bit was the surroundings. A mixed district of Istanbul where many hotels, private schools but also an industrial area. The staff and the atmosphere make that but again bet! ❤️

Staff was very helpful. Everyone from the reception to restaurant were very pleasant. The room was very comfortable, room service ecxellent. Looking forward to coming soon.

It's really nice hotel I recommend every one to try to book in Lionel hotel, friendly stuff clean comfortably.

The hotel in general has good facilities the staff that works there is very friendly, a little bit away from the parts most tourist but that makes it that it is best to rest since there is not much outside noise. I highly recommend it.

Its ok, not bad, problem is its far from center of istanbul, and if u need a super market or food you will have to walk for 15 minutes to get to the closest shop and most of them lock at 10 pm, the breakfast is exvelet, they rarely open air condition in the lobby even though its hot and high humidity and they dont let you bring food inside even though there is no resturants near the hotel I give it its ok, I came once, never again.

The hotel is great, with awesome bedrooms and incredible staff. It's very confortable and yet ellegant. Loved being here.

Had an amazing experience Staying in. We had a group of 27 travellers staying in. Services we're good. People were friendly & most importantly Hotel got some exotic looks. Points of improvement is that spa services management system needs to improved. I stayed for 5 days. Made reservations at least 3 times but Everytime they cancelled it without prior notice.

Its a nice hotel. Service is gud. Best part I beleive staff speak english. Sauna n pool available.

Arrive at 10pm and had to wait 10 mintes due to queuing up (one receptionist serve many guests). Instead of location, this hotel gave us comfortable environment to stay. Our room was free-upgraded to executive. Our room is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The breakfast offers a good and various food (bread, rice, porridge, salads, cereals, hot and cold drinks). We ordered a dinner via room service and the burger was tasted very delicious. The location may far from the sightseeing in city centre but when we ordered for a taxi through reception, it arrived within 2 minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Amazing hotel! Me and my friends liked it a lot. We enjoyed the sauna, the warm water pool and the gym was modern and surprised us for good. The rooms were beautiful and new. The breakfast was great but the last day at 7 to 8 am we didn't find an empty table for 40 minutes. The hotel was very, very good for its price. Really cheap for 5 star hotel. Would go again.

The cleanliness and attention in the cafeteria is excellent. The décor is nice. If you forget the room card you can't use the elevator. Taxi drivers don't know the hotel location.

High-end Hotel, impressive breakfast with huge room, cooks, beyond imagination. Gym floor, swimming pool, Turkish bath etc included in the overnight stay. The bar also serves Italian coffee. The rooms are perfect for comfort and accessories.

Contemporary, clean and bright. Unusual items in the room, such as complementary water (two bottles) mini sewing kit, matches, refreshing towel, shower cap, cotton buds, nail file, cotton pads and safety display glass box for jewellery with key.

I stayed in Lionel Hotel unexpectedly. My flight from Istanbul to Kharkiv (Ukraine) was delayed and Turkish Airlines provided a free stay, transportation and three complimentary meals in the Hotel while I was waiting for my flight. The friendly staff quickly checked me in together with the group of people who had encountered the same difficulties as myself. As soon as I entered my room I received a phone call from the front desk reminding me about the lunch starting in a few minutes. I went downstairs and the buffet style lunch was great with friendly staff attending the table every 5 minutes to refill my glass of water. I have to say that the room, beautifully designed, clean and conveniently located near the elevators was so quiet and pleasant that my stay could not have been any more pleasurable. If I ever come for vacation to Istanbul (Turkey) I would absolutely consider staying in the beautiful Lionel Hotel. I gave five stars because of the great experience that I had despite the inconvenience.

The stuff is very unprofessional. Out of 4 people working on the reception, only 1 was checking in and other 3 were watching the first one doing it. We came in a full bus of people from the airport and waited in line 40 min to be checked in. Those who were after us waited even longer. Why other stuff members at the desk didn't do their work? At the check in the stuff warned us that check out will be at 12 pm and we kept this time in mind. At 10:50am they called us and said that the bus from Turkish Airlines will be picking us up at 11am. We hurried up to check out, this again took them very long. At 11:15 bus wasn't there. We asked if it was running late and they said it will be at 12pm:either the stuff was lying or they are badly coordinating.

We stayed at this hotel June 2017, service was super bad, and when we checked out we left our luggage down by the reception and went out for lunch and then we got back to the hotel to pick up our luggage and go to the airport, Khaldoon was the one incharge about luggage and the took one bag off and when we got to the airport we found out that one luggage is messing and we immediately contacted the hotel and the refused to send it to us and we flew with this suit case and 2 days later we had a friend who stayed in different hotel in Istanbul and we asked him to bring out bag and he was nice and agreed, so we contacted khaldon from Lionel hotel to send our bag to the hotel hotel in taksem area and he said hell do in 30 min, and our friend waited 2 hours and the bag didn't arrive and when we contacted the hotel they said that khaldon didn't send it cause there is no car? Unbelievable hotel Then we asked our friend to stop by the hotel and grab the bag and he had a tight time to do it and finally he got it and brought it to us, bas service and bad customer service I would never go again there.

The breakfast was great, the bathroom was clean and the pool was very small.

While the staff appeared to be friendly at first, they didn't fulfill any of their promises: do a wake-up call and provide an early breakfast. Also, at first they weren't willing to let me take to a manager about it. Finally, the hotel is quite far from the downtown.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Courtesy. The hotel is very nice and quiet. There are many lighting fixtures in the rooms. And the rooms also have irons with Otparivatelem and iron boards. Electric kettles and a central, individually managed air-conditioning system.

Beautiful place! Good atmosphere and excellent breakfast. The only thing the kettle in the room had was mushrooms.
