In general, the services offered for * * and the price are fine. The rooms have Wi-Fi, a small fridge, they are clean, the beds are good. The room service is tidy and discreet. Service washes inexpensive privately. The view is typically oriental urban. A nearby mosque is very atmospheric. The hotel is centrally located, clean Beach 200 m away. The medina and the city centre are within walking distance. A large grocery store and fast food are close. The cats are sweet and are loved.
In particular, in some rooms the ventilation of a nearby club/restaurant is quite noisy. Partly it was cold and drafty in the room (Nov. ), the heating was only activated 4 days after my complaint. Reception Z. T. Very accommodating. I was asked by the night porter if I wanted to do it myself with a blown-out fuse. Often smiles would increase the quality of the hotel considerably. The area around the hotel is very filthy (for German conditions).
The breakfast (6:30-9:30) is per person from fresh Baguettescheiben, 1 croissant or chocolate buns, 1x Jam, 1x butter, 1 egg or vanilla yogurt, coffee/tea/milk. There is no restaurant in the hotel.
To Sousse in general: Before any business to discuss performance and price. Not only "big round/small round", but where it goes exactly. I have the Coachman 2 x calculated the money of the big round, but are the little dangers. I met the ' real ' big round in a third tour. Taxi drivers ask in advance if they really know the way. "You remember, I work in your hotel" and always have a fixed No. Medina (Old Town) is expensive, better just look and buy somewhere else. Fixed prices give the best feeling, are most economical and do not tempt you to make stupid purchases. Friendliness I have mostly only experienced in hope of a business. I got the feeling conveyed, the best tourist rip-off is the coolest and "tourists are idiots". Although the country is beautiful, it should work on its image. I was in Tunisia the last time.
