The Blue Lagoon Hotel is one of the older hotels on Koh Samui Chaweng beach. This also has its advantage since the large garden could grow beautifully here. The hotel itself looks at its age. The rooms and furnishings are in relatively good condition alone the bathrooms are in need of some renovation. The water from the pipes needs some overcoming as it sometimes smells a little uncomfortable. The pool and the loungers are very good. The old trees have a lot of shade on the beach. Only the water in the sea is sometimes very algae-rich which is still favoured by the upstream reef. The water exchange with the sea is interrupted here. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate and with the direct view of the sea already in the morning a delight. The staff were friendly and helpful. A small tip helps here as everywhere.

Positives — Very friendly staff. Excellent pool and beach access. Very cold air con rooms. DVD in all rooms. Breakfast. Very friendly guests. Massage in garden excellent although have to book as not enough staff. Beautiful garden setting Negatives — Wifi didnt work most of the time. Not greeted on arrival. Too many mosquitoes in the rooms. Gym not great. Jacuzzi did not work. Very run down some pool chairs falling apart. Overall — clean rooms and great big pool very clean. Noise from the street distracting at night but would stay there again if they updated their Wi-Fi system and spend some money fixing the place.

It is the same property as the Teak Samui, but with the wear of the years. Its dining room and pool give direct access to Chaweng beach and it is very quiet.

Koh Samui is a beautiful place! Blue Lagoon is a great destination for families or couples. Relax by the pool or the beach and have a massage in their garden spa. Rooms are cozy and feature a wide selection of TV channels. Perfect destination to relax :)

Absolutely beautiful. The Blue Lagoon Hotel is the best resort I've ever been too; especially for the price. Right next to the beach, amazing huge pool and amazing service. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The admin even suggest places to go check out or eat outside of the resort. Amazing place to be!

The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right at all. The rooms are only cleaned superficially and are not very clean. (We have seen a total of 3 rooms! ) Those who book a village villa must first walk across the street to get to the main part, breakfast and beach.
If you come for a three-quarter hour (! ) before the breakfast ends, you hardly get to eat any more. Unfortunately nothing is replenished and you can pick up some last crumbs.
The pool is in itself very nice and also the location of the hotel are top! The opening time of the pool is from 7 a. M. To 7 p. M. So I wonder why the staff here at 17 o'clock clears the whole lie away. This gives you the feeling that you have to go now and is not welcome.
In addition, you can expect from a 4 * hotel at this price, that in the evening or tomorrow before the guests come, times the conditions of the beach are free from the sand.
All in all, I would not book this hotel again and do not recommend anyone else!

We stayed in this hotel for one night, between the flight and the ferry to Phangan. So I picked out something on the edge of the Chaweng to get near the airport and Pierce. In this sense, hotel location is excellent.
But the hotel clearly knew the best of times. The four stars don't smell. Yes and three can be given with a big trip. The people were barely there, and that's Christmas. The beach and breakfast are so good. There are almost no outlets in the room. The staff is lazy and unattentive: to meet at the airport, they forgot to take the pier, but the specified.
What they call villas is actually a small, uncomfortable bungalow. And yes, they're across the street.
Anyway, the night of crash is possible. But there's no time to stay.

We haven't left the accommodation yet and there has already been a number of problems! Firstly when we arrived in they brought us to our room and left us. I saw that the bathroom was filthy and that there was no hot water because the aircon wasn't turned on to heat the water! Then we tried to lock our door with the key and it wouldn't lock! We then realized that we had the wrong key as the number on the key was different to what was on the bungalow. My boyfriend then went over to reception to tell them about all of the above. They said oh the cleaners aren't here so we can't clean it until the morning and that it was the right key and to keep trying. Tried the key again and still wouldn't work. So we went over to tell them again and they looked at us as if to say we were wrong. Eventually after much deliberation they realized they put us into the wrong room! Lucky we complained or we would have been sleeping in used and unclean beds! When we finally made it to our correct room our door wouldn't shut properly and takes a few minutes each time to close the thing! Also our internet didn't work even though we are supposed to have free Wi-Fi (what else could go wrong? ) Then this evening we walk back to our room to open the door to find a few geckos all around our room. We realize they are harmless but didn't want to have them in our room like any other creepy crawly. So we went to reception. One person at the desk. Completely useless.



The hotel is located at the North — so quiet — end of Chaweng Beach (not new, but in good condition and clean! ). You can reach in a few minutes the turbulent evening and night life walk. The swimming pool is very clean and nicely designed. The offered massages (about 7-10 €) were professionally conducted in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere in a pavilion in the garden. The breakfast buffet was extensive. There was even a Hefekranz — lies probably in the Swiss line. In addition, there were cereals, yogurt, jam, honey, fruit, hot food (such as rice dishes, freshly prepared scrambled eggs, French toast,. ). The price was super (€197 for 9 days and 2 persons incl. Breakfast). The restaurant directly on the beach in the evening was hardly attended. This is probably due to the location of the hotel because there little pedestrian pass. The rooms were adequate and spacious. Praise must be given to the cleaners. Although we have forgotten a day to close the room safe, nothing was missing! One can only recommend the small prioritized. The staff could only bad English, was always late or hard to reach and he has only specific questions adequately answer. In addition, he has something scheduled our transfer to Krabi. The transfer by bus from Surat Thani to Krabi should take 2 hours according to his statements, but actually almost 5 (! ) Hours taken.
