The front desk staffs were very nice, courteous at check in. I really like our bell boy at check in and out. The lady at transportation desk was very helpful when we didn’t know where to go to get the shuttle for local shopping area. Our room was very nice and clean.

Superb resort with wonderful staff. Several restaurants close by and a pub.

JW is for sure a price place but definitely a nice place to be especially when it comes to the Breakfast Buffet. The rooms a taken care about very well from Housekeeping twice a day. The Facility is clean and the Staff all over are very kind, friendly and helpful. Obviously this is a place where many Family with Kids enjoying there time.

Really wonderful and pleasant stay. Absolutely fantastic staff and beautiful property. We have been looked after from day 1, we felt really welcomed. We can not recommend highly enough to visit this property. It is very clean and with lots of amenities across the site. Food is something to die for — French toasts are must to try. Lots of great restaurants around — Andaman Grill is our favourite. Bar staff are the friendliest ever. Overall — we are amazed by this property and people here. Felt like home.

Fantastic pools and a great kids club with activities through the day. Spa was out of the world and every staff showed why JW Marriott is rated premium. Awsome resort. Couples & Family friendly. Apartments are very spacious and very quiet during the rain season. All staff are very friendly and happy to assist with anything. All pools are amazing especially the one with the pool bar. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. 10-15min walking distance or free shuttle to the Turtle Village which again has a variety of restaurants and some convenient stores. Great place to do Nothing and enjoy a quiet holliday without all the Hustle and Bustle. We've been with the family and as a couple. Will return again in the near future. This place is great for.

As always, the JW Marriott did not disappoint. The staff are friendly as as always great resort for relaxing and cocktails.

Luxurious welcome and beautiful pictursque view, grand clean water pool n very relaxing atmosphere, great delicious food with different restaurants. Super private beach n club. And the most important is the super super best service very friendly staff.

We had an amazing suite at the JW Marriott Phuket. Incredible building, grounds, and pools. An absolutely amazing place. Just wanted to note that laying and swimming on the beach are not ideal due to the tough waves and currents, but they have great pools to off set and beautiful ocean views. If you don’t mind that, this is a very beautiful and luxurious resort. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stayed in this resort, very friendly staffs, many restaurants in the resort, lots of free activities provided.

This property is beautiful with multiple pools and a variety of food venues for you to choose. Casual, fine dining and room service were all excellent. They have offerings for every taste. Thai food. Steak and seafood, Italian food (try the option to let the chief pick your meal you will not be disappointed. We ate in every venue and the service was unbelievable from the staff. Great beach and a location that is not overcrowded.

Great place to be. Had my BIrthday there. Received cake, which was really good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants were good, but you can dine around. Don’t get into the trap of investing in other resorts by buying your own place. What’s good about it that you get free trip to Phi Phi :), but this has nothing to do with Marriott. At the hotel nobody bothers you. Beautiful place.

Luxury beach resort near Phuket Airport. We like the cooking class with the idea concept of supporting locals. It was good experience visiting black crab community and sourcing ingredients from fresh local market.

One of the best Marriott resorts I've been to. Great facilities, food choices, room amenities, services. Three pools, one of them a quiet pool with no kids.

Everything is fine, only the food in the restaurants is relatively expensive and not tasty (with the breakfast gorgeous)

Great place… Big hotel The deposit should be less. I took ocean view room but honestly it's not worth it. We see small portion from the sea from far away. But I recommend.

What a relaxing holiday it was! Note that it's a bit too far from the main city, so it's preferable for those who want a nice relaxing soothing vibe. They do have a cozy market nearby (walkable distance) — "Turtle Village". For women out there must checkout the pearl and stone jewellery shop in the hotel itself. They keep selected pieces of rare varieties of pearls. They serve out of the world butter chicken at one of their restaurants. I think it was 'siam deli'. Else, for the non vegetarians you will get hell lot of awesome seafood options.

Amazing resort with courteous staff especially in the buffet breakfast area. Service is super quick. Adjoining beach. We were here for a family vacation. Loved it.

JW Phuket and all other Marriott associates are so first class. Compared to some of the vacation resorts around the Mai Khao area, JW and the other Marriott Vacation Club resorts beat the surrounding ones — hands down. Everything (and we mean truly EVERY THING less the villa itself) is complimentary. We're talking round trip shuttles, all toiletries (including mouthwash), housekeeping, pool towel service, technical/engineering service, concierge service, food service… oh my, should I go on. The other surrounding nearby resort that have no affiliation with the Marriott brand pale in comparison. They'll give you a real good sales pitch, but are very sketchy with their delivery. Additionally, amenities at the JW and the other Marriott resorts abound… not at the neighboring, who boast about their very expensive villas.

A very pleasant hotel with great breakfast and good service. The location is very good and also the Beach section is a dream. Unfortunately, it was not possible to extend the booked meals on site afterwards.

Close to airport, just 20 minutes drive. Staff is polite and friendly. Several pools separated adults only and kids pool. Just one thing, location is not convenient. If you can enjoy just in the hotel, it's no problem.

Our absolute favorite hotel It's like coming home to friends like Phon from the kabuki Pat Pong from the pool and many more right there.

Stayed there for four nights. It was absolutely not enough. Very good facilities with very helping staff. Restaurants are amazing. Ginja may not lived to its name, for cooking maybe from the students of the cooking school. Other restaurants are just be the closer and great ones. Plenty of activities will make sure that you don't need to go anywhere else. Want to really talk about the Yoga class. Very helpful. Very different.

A good place to stay. Very green. Great beach and ocean. Nearby bars, toilets and swimming pools. The staff are very loyal to other people's guests.

Decent place, but stupid management, both at check-in and when booking a taxi. There was a queue for breakfast, although there were free tables. There are not many people on the beach and by the pool. Very cozy, chic room.

There is a sports hall and bicycles on site. Next to the hotel there is a beautiful lake where you can ride a bike, jog, walk or picnic, immerse yourself in the autumn atmosphere with magical views of the lake with dry leaves on the sidewalk.
Far from entertainment.

A spectacular hotel, von a few exterior are very well maintained, the beach that is in front of the hotel does not have lost. Rooms very spacious and cozy. The food scrumptious, the breakfast buffet is super complete with food, thai and other nationalities. Performance live at the bar almost every night. The personal very attentive. Next to the hotel there are 2 small shopping malls.

Great resort. Impeccable landscaping. Comfortable rooms. Great concierge to help with planning tours. Grace in customer service went above and beyond — would recommend asking for her if you have any special requests.

Absolutely awesome resort with great facilities for adults and kids alike. Loved their adult only pool. Their Thai restaurant is just excellent. Great buffet breakfast selection too. Pro tip — they have massage camps (THB 500/hr) in the grounds of the resort. Go get one and ask them to lay a bed on grass rather than massage at camp, it's more relaxing.

Place is nice and chill. Family oriented. Service at pools is slow, drinks are weak. Bar tenders get attitude if you modify an order and don't understand English at a functional level. All of the hospitality staff in restaurants are overly helpful and take care of the customers well with better supervision. Get the breakfast option, totally worth it. Rooms are nice, well appointed. Location is quite isolated and about an hour drive from other tourist cities with no local options to explore. If you are looking for full resort get away this is good for family with some room to improve.

I've been there for 10 years: always the height.

Amazing resort. Staff goes over and above to make you feel special. All food outlets are great… Portions are extremely generous, so it is easy to order more food than needed. The rooms are not new and furnished in the most modern way, but it really suits the overall ambiance of the resort. The small touched like the lounging area inside the room looking into the ocean do make a difference.

I have stayed at resorts in over 40 countries and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen. It isn't Patong, exactly the opposite with refined elegance and a quiet environment. The beach is usually almost deserted and pool areas not crowded. The restaurants are first class and priced high for Thailand but not by international standards. Perfect for a honeymoon but be prepared to drive quite some distance if looking for trips out to Phi Phi or evening entertainment.

Pleasant but dated hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous. There are several pools spanning across the property. Food is good at the restaurants or you can opt for neighbour hotels or Turtle Village. They provide buggy service to bring guests nearby. Location is pretty isolated and far away from town and Patong.

A great hotel, very dear people and top service, with the sea and a nice beach right outside the Door.

Its beach area, large area of the hotel, several pools, fitness center, sauna, bike rental. Lots of restaurants, cafes, shops. The mini-town. A short walk from restaurants, boutiques and markets. The hotel is not cheap.

Getting a bit worn out — could definitely use some work. The AC in the room was worn out and having trouble keeping the room cool. The windows are all single-pane (which is madness in this climate). The drapes are worn and torn. The shower was missing the vinyl stripping and would leak all over the floor. The slide at the kids pool is broken and needing repair (there is a bouncy-castle with a slide into the pool in the meantime; however, the door is not properly secured). Several decorative elements around the pool are damaged and sometimes loose. There's also a drain at one end of the kids pool that sits proud of the bottom and when I hopped in, I hit my ankle on it and got a good bruise from it. Any snacks and sundries cost at least 2x what they cost at the market about an 8 min walk down the road. The kids club is definitely showing it's age and full of obstacles for little ones to run into. The beach is fairly quiet, but the sand is not great — kind of like coarse cornmeal.

I would advise people to book the JW Marriott and NOT the Marriott Vacation Club which shares the same premises as the JW Marriott but somehow treated as “second class” guests during breakfast, where they banish you to a small cafe with very limited choices. If you want to have breakfast at the regular cafe where JWM guests have their breakfast you have to cough up US$28 per person. That was quite disappointing, and quite inexplicable because we pay the same price as the JWM for the Marriot Vacation Club and yet we had to pay the equivalent of US$112 for breakfast (4 of us) every day.

Lovely resort amenities. Amazing staff. Delicious food. However, knocking off one star because we booked an sea view room, but barely saw the sea. Instead we saw the garden, pool, and palm trees, with a minuscule view of the sea. Would recommend that the hotel update their room descriptions.

Absolutely fabulous resort! We did the 1/2 day Culinary Journey and Cooking class with chef Thom from Ginga cooking school and restaurant. What a very special treat! We went to a local market, prawn sourcing and black crab sourcing site. The cooking and food experience were exceptional and totally worth it. We will have spent one entire week in a 2 bedroom villa at the resort and were not bored once… every one of the 11 restaurants is top notch and service impeccable. The 90 minute Thai massage an absolutely out-of-body experience! Highly recommend for the fussiest of travelers…

We booked accommodation for 4 people with breakfast included. Everyday the hotel billed us for 2 breakfast and explained only two were included in the rate. Several times we explained the problem to hotel reception and they removed the charge. At the end of the stay the charges were again applied and we had to explain all over again to get them removed.

Very nice hotel complex in Nowhere. Unfortunately the hotel is very secluded. It is hardly possible to enjoy local food. All meals must be taken at the Hotel. Pizza from 10 euro or wrap from 8 euro. Buffet Dinner from 800 bath. Breakfast 750 Bath children half. In the sea we could not swim in july. Very High Waves. You can reach the airport after 15 Minutes.

This was essentially my wife and Mine's early anniversary. It was a dream. The place is right on the beach, and while you aren't supposed to swim there it was no less beautiful. There are a lot of families, but that's not a problem at least not for us. The pool selection was cool, and we didn't even realize that there was a third pool. The pools do close around 8 pm, which was kind of weird, but oh well. The food is expensive, which is to be expected for a resort, but tasty. The pastry selection was quite good too. Not far from the resort, within walking distance, is a cheaper shopping center. Food was excellent, and much more affordable when compared to the resort. You won't regret staying here. Beautiful grounds, romantic setting if you want to honeymoon or anniversary here, but also great for families.

It's like everywhere, very comfortable, there is everything you need but very artificial!

Very nice hotel! Suitable for non-first time to Phuket and play. Guests here on holiday. Look at the view, drink tea, do the SPA… loved it! Friendly reminder: first time in Phuket guests are not recommended to live here, leaving all the place you want to go very far, not as home to three great beaches there.

Fantastic accommodation, brilliant staff with great tour advice. Easy to stay longer, while this is a resort and eating there can be expensive, other local options very very affordable and easy to get to.

Treatment: the spa experience itself is fabulous! I like the spa rooms a lottttt. The one I went to had 2 bed good for 2 friends going or a couple going. They also had an outdoor bed that you can lay down on after your spa treatment. They also had a shower cubical and a bathtub for you to clean yourself after if you wish to. However the treatment I had do not recommend cleansing afterwards. As the essential oil should sit as long as possible on your body to give you the aroma and nourish your delicate skin I chose the ginger scrub which really rubs off your deadskin and the 1 hour massage after just sent me to heaven. It was sooooooo relaxing and warm haha my bf chose the aloe vera which didnt send him to heaven lmao. It was way too cold apparently. Because you're in the aloe vera wrap for an hour with no clothes on haha. However it did ease his severely sun burnt skin! Spa service: the service at the reception wasnt as great as the spa treatment however. The lady wasnt smiling much, and shes not exactly patient either Hotel service: we actually stayed at the adjacent marriott phuket beach club and went to the JW marriott for spa. So when we got to the massive lobby we're not sure where to go. Someone directed us to go downstairs, so we did and we couldnt see any signage, so we asked a staff where the spa is and she pointed us to a certain direction where all the houses are, so we did but we went to the beach instead and couldnt find the spa.

Would definitely come back! Great for adults and kids. Service is also great! Beautiful sandy beach just in front of the property.

Good hotel for relaxing but far from everything, atmosphere, good beaches …

Attended the vacation club — amazing! Great pools with some for adults and others for kids. The beach is right up front too although quite rough. This is where you want to be if you just want to chill for a week with your family.

Away from it all. It has an elephant of its own.
