It’s not walking distance to anything but the beach, and it is a big, long beach with a beautiful sunset. Hotel staff is very pleasant. Pool bar makes a great mojito. We didn’t bring kids but it is a very kid friendly place with all kinds of activities and a kids club.

Lovely location, relaxing atmosphere quiet location great rooms and right on the beach.

Great value for money
The hotel is situated off the beaten track but great if you want to get away. We stayed in a junior suite with pool access, the room was really big with an extremely comfy bed, open the patio doors and you can walk straight into the pool. The main pool is a decent size with plenty of sun beds and just a couple of minute walk to the beach which is a few kilometers long and almost empty. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice for all. Overall the staff were great, very helpful and friendly especially the reception girls.
OK it's not a 5* but a very good 4* and very good value for money, we will certainly be back soon. We also Had a car deliver to our hotel. Rented for 3 weeks. Zero problems. Full insurance. If you want to rent a car in Phuket, the Orange car Phuket

Very beautiful property to enjoy your holiday … really miss this place. Only we face one problem that is indian food … they don't have vegetarian breakfast also so we hve fruits nd pasta in option. We was dricing around, for this we rented a car Orange car Phuket. Everything was good! Otherwise beautiful hotel cooperative staff nd kids friendly hotel. Pleasent staff love the beach sooo clean and pure. We also hired a car from this company Orange Car Phuket for the last two weeks of October 2018. From start to finish, they were brilliant.

This resort was by far one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. I will definitely return here during my next visit to Phuket! I loved my pool room!

The hotel look wonderful, quiet place, close to the beach, foods are delicious, staff very kindly+ friendly&service mind, especially Khun Wendy and Khun Lena (Front office). They were warmly welcomed and remembered us very well. I hope you'll see you next time. This place is amazing resort to spend time with your family, especially family with a kids. There have good swimming pool also nice beach and kids room. A lot of activity, good breakfast.

Pros: Place is clean and close to the airport. They provide free bicycle to go around the area but you have to be beware of the dogs. Hotel feels a bit remote and away from touristy spots. Staff is friendly. Cons: I stayed here twice and I do NOT recommend the room service. It is one of the worst I ever had (see picture). I suggest the restaurant outside. Laundry is questionable since my suit got bubbled. Room numbers are quite confusing. Lots of the views of the rooms are the road and lucky if you'll get the interior of the hotel. If you have a ground floor then it will be better since you might have the pool.

Though the hotel feels a bit remote, it's a great location to stay in prior to leaving, or just after entering Phuket; the airport is less than 30 minutes away. The private beach and infinity pool are sure to entertain, the on site restaurants, of which I only visited the Thai restaurant, served my girlfriend and I great meals and desserts. Definitely a thumbs up for me.

It's proximity to the airport but away from the tourist belts in Phuket makes this our favorite gateway. Plus add in kids suite, kids club, outdoor movie screening, good gym, nice pool and inviting beach — it all adds up. They offer bike rentals to explore the surroundings, and is highly recommended although the bikes could be maintained to a better level. J's Cafe serves better meals than the Italian (which has much room to improve). But overall, this place do deserve a 5 star rating.

Been there several times and the hotel never disapoints, rooms are big, comfortable bed, beautiful pool and beach is just in the continuation of the pool area. Happy hr at the pool everyday. Best mango sticky rice ever. The spa is also amazing, small individual cabanas and the stuff is very professional (never had to make any comment regarding the pressure or techniques)

Superb resort located in a semi private area surrounded by tropical plants and the ocean. If you need a to get away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place. The staff here is beyond outstanding they actually care and take time out to greet you. A very pleasant place to bring your young ones. They have activities throughout the day to keep them occupied. Breakfast in the morning is what I looked forward to the most. Thank you Holiday Inn for a great time.

Very good resort. Away from city. Connected to beach. Swimming pool, hammocks, spa, restaurant, excursions and activities by the beach. In the most natural surroundings. Absolute greenery. You basically live with nature. Don't forget to book the lower rooms that have access to the pool from your room. Only downside was they didn't have hot water during my stay (may be because it was raining and their water heaters are solar powered). However they offered to take me to another premise of I needed hot water. Otherwise great place. No issues during summers.

Rooms are really big. Amazing. Arrangement of the room is really good. There is an attached private swimming pool which is awesome. Indian as well as continental food is provided in the hotel. Disadvantage is that the hotel 8s far from the city. Its about an hours ride to Patong but the resort provides shuttle service. Staff are very encouraging and helpful.

Beautiful hotel right on beach. Has upscale rooms with pool right off room but must upgrade to get it. Beaches secluded. Nice pool with pool bar and restaurant close by. Mini Mart nearby other Thai restaurants also nearby. Main shopping very far away.

If you are here, you would rather relax within the resort than go anywhere outside. Amazing arrangements for the kids. The food served in the resort is awesome. Amazing location.

We had a very nice time and it was really nice. Direct Beach location, Everyone is very nice and accommodating. The resort is nice sized and has a direct beach Location.
But I still have to give only 1 star, because I was told at Check-in that a deposit is due and this amount is only blocked and is not debited.
however, I have seen that I have been charged a large amount of deposit and still have not transferred the money Back.
At check-in and before check-out I asked if I would be charged the money or not and every time I was told that nothing is debited and since I did not leave any damage anyway, I do not have to worry.
My email is also not answered and simply Ignored. That seems very suspicious to Me.
I would not have expected such methods from such a hotel.
I find it really a pity as it was very nice.
If you were to take care of it, I would change my review to 5 Stars.

Lovely Hotel. Full relaxation. Clean, quiet, nice staff, green area, Chic beach. There is no noise, fuss and endless swing. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The Ocean is clean. We will gladly return to this hotel.

A Quiet cozy place. Very Nice and varied breakfast. Behind The fence is almost nothing. There are local cafes of street food, very cheap and tasty, but they look like the buildings of temporary purpose, than and are revealed). You can.

Excellent for weekend. Away from hustle and bustle yet 20 minutes to Phuket International Airport. Very nice secluded beach. Good food excellent hospitality and quality of comfort. Patong beach not very far away. Recommend for honeymooners and family with or without kids.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely well-kept grounds, and as the birds sing to hear them! The staff is nice and smiling and helpful! When you are ready to help at any time! On site is a Italian restaurant with excellent cuisine. Cooks thank you so much, the portions are huge, the food is so tasty and fresh that you can't have a plate! Really enjoyed the shrimp salad with mango and avocado the hotel Territory is buried in verdure, it tatalina care staff, for which they also thank you so much! The hotel also provides a bike for 2 hours a day absolutely free the Beach clean and uncrowded! Thank you Holiday Inn Resort for a wonderful vacation!

Friendly staff, very good food, very clean large rooms, even if you have kids the perfect hotel.

Awesome place. Quiet, at the highest level. Sent A/p arrived in 20 minutes. For children there are Russian-speaking animators. Children's room, entertainment on the beach. From the food is a great choice, to feed the children is what. The beach is considered the cleanest and it is actually so. People are not many, there is where to sit and in the sun and in the shade of trees, especially if with kids. The room has everything (except toothpaste). Daily cleaning, change of bed, towels, replenishment of mini bar (water, coffee, tea) will gladly come back here, and necessarily with their granddaughters.

We have been there for 1 week now and the weather is top. The facility from the hotel is very nice, large and green. Every day the gardeners are at work which also clean the small grove between the beach and the pool. The pool was clean and is nice size also there is a children's pool for the little ones. The program for children is here anyway the hammer it is made very much for the little ones. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. You can definitely stay here for 2 weeks like we do. There are also not too many people here at this time but predominantly Russians, as we have only booked with breakfast we go every day in hotel based "pesto" or eat in one of the surrounding restaurants, the prices vary here between Thai prices and European but still acceptable for the good quality of food. As usual for Thailand you should take care not to leave the balcony doors for long then you have no problems with mosquitoes, outside at the 34 degrees anyway not and you should not use water from the tap to brush your teeth. Otherwise the rooms are cleaned every day and you get enough water. The beach is beautiful and long, the sand is yellow and the people at the stand have only been a handful, there is not much going on around the hotel but one under the website getyourguide. En many things to book at reasonable prices.

A good hotel with direct access to the beach is more than 10 km long. 20 min from the airport, planes land 5 km, the sound is not getting. On the territory of the building of different floors. A lot of things for children including animation and children's club. It's quiet, it's quiet for the family. It's an hour by car. I took a rental from Avis at the airport, because in a couple of days in one place you will soar, taxi rates and so you know. If you drive actively from the nearest 7-11 to Patong and other island entertainment, the rental pays off. Underground parking on the hotel grounds is free. If you need a club holiday format without all inclusive in Phuket, then this is the place for you. And in general, the network standard Holiday inn is observed, everything is expected qualitatively. I usually book on my own. For members of ihg groups 10% discount by default, you only need to register on their website plus bonus balls traditionally to save and spend there.

Looking up and down the Phuket coastline we are spoilt for choice, but finding the Holiday Inn was a pleasing surprise for me. Most of my work travel is done within the IHG network, so carrying the status onto the beached rocked my time in Phuket. The Holiday Inn here is a descent size, great facilities, calm beach and you can still get around on the hotel shuttle. There was a lack of food Thai food, but the cute little pace next door makes up for that. There is also a mini-market 200 metres away. Loved my stay. Good value.

Beautiful hotel and service! Some rooms have a private pool, spectacular! The overall pool and outto the sea are excellent! They also have games for all ages, pool table football. The breakfast was great. Super recommended.

Choosing a hotel for a holiday, departed from the experience of staying in the holiday network, with the hope of the level of service on which the network is located, but small troubles still arose. But let's start from the beginning: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, the rooms were spacious, the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very comfortable, the beds were very nice, the windows were not clean, the balcony was not cleaned, the dust on the furniture was very nice and, but the comments reacted quickly. The territory is large, well-groomed, all lawns are trimmed, fallen leaves and rubbish are removed. The beach is great, the people are small, the traders do not bother, the lack of sun loungers replaced the mats. The pool could be said to be 5, but by the evening the water in it reeked of urine, I can not understand whether chlorine is not enough, whether gadjat a lot, so 3. The breakfasts are great, but the prices for lunches and dinners are very expensive, tajcov the fence is cheaper and tasty. Great Kids Club while busy kids, dads play in Sony PlayStation. Thank you for a chic holiday! It was perhaps the most vivid holiday. The hotel and the staff are top notch. The location is perfect for family holidays. The only prices in the restaurant seem overpriced. And in the whole is a great place to stay.

We rest here a second time, was at the same time in 2017 and when I came back this year, met 5 families are like we were 17 year here, I am sure that says a lot. If you ask me will you come back?! … answer why not! We like it here) ) )

The efforts of the staff of this hotel to fulfill any whim of the client are crossed out all the disadvantages of staying in it. And the disadvantages, as usual among the local hotels, decently. For example, the wiring diagram of the number allows residents, choosing the right combination of switches, to achieve a sudden turn on the TV at night (with automatic shutdown of the air conditioner). The greenish light of the fire alarm diodes will haunt your entire dream. The sports equipment of the hotel dilapidated and dull: the bikes do not regulate the height of the seats, rackets for badminton and ping pong long need to replace.

Fabulous resort with something for every age group. Beautifully laid out grounds with superb maintenance. It's a visual treat. The welcome to the resort was without fuss and with the usual efficiency of Holiday Inns. The stay so far has been most relaxed and with total immersion in the facilities available. Being fully booked, the Spa is the only place which doesn't have any spare capacity : ( The beach runs contiguous to the resort, and is an absolute paradise for beach-goers. The warm sunshine just adds to the fun quotient. The restaurants let you sample a wide variety of culinary delights suitable for every palate. The staff is extremely friendly & efficient, and the service — with exceptional efficiency. The swimming pools are amazingly laid out. Almost all the guests can be accommodated around the pool, which is a cultural delight If I could give this resort 6 out of 5 stars, I would!

Our second visit to this kids orientated/friendly resort and we weren't disappointed. The staff (especially Nhui at the pool bar and all the staff in J's restaurant, as well as Peter the Resort manager) are fantastic and really do cater for all those special "requirements" of children (like when the ice cream flavor picked isn't then wanted 30 seconds later… And the screaming child is appeased by a bowl of sprinkles, etc instead).

The Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Maikhao Beach is the place to be if you want to relax. Located directly at the beach with only a few Thai food restaurants in the vicinity this excellent Resort provided all you need for some relaxing days. The whole resort is in a great condition. We had the pool access room 6111 during our stay and it was really good, only the air conditioning could be a more quite while in work, that was the only negative thing. The breakfast buffet is excellent and you get all you want and need. However, from our point of view the prices a the bar and in the restaurants are far to high, they also add 10% service fee on every bill which makes the situation even worse.

We decided our last stop in Thailand would be a luxury one. We chose well with the Holiday Inn Resort. Our room is a bottom floor junior sweet with pool access right outside the sliding glass doors. The free breakfast buffet is the most amazing breakfast buffet I have ever been to. And the hotel rooms are so clean, modern, and lovely. The bed is the most comfortable I have encountered in Thailand thus far. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. And, aside from the room side pool, there is a larger infinity pool with swim up bar, beach access, 2 restaurants, and more. We love this place as a purely relaxation focused stay. It is pretty far away from any towns/villages/ true Thailand rather than tourist resort attractions, but if You're looking for a short luxury stop on your Thailand tour or you really just want to relax on a beach and don't care much about anything else, this is the place. You will pay American prices for everything though!

This is an amazing family resort in the peaceful location of Mai Khao. Resort is perfect for families with kids as they offer multiple entertainment options. Has a good spa with decent prices. Two good restaurants offering Italian and Thai menus. There are some local restaurants near by too. If you want to have a relaxing vacation at a tranquil location away from the madness of Patong, then this is the resort for you. I can't wait to stay there again.
