This hotel is amazing with the beautiful greenery landscape, with small little lily ponds spreaded out at the entire place. Very beautiful swimming pool too, and there is one orchard garden as well. Karon beach is just few steps across the road. Kata beach is about fifteen minutes walk away.

I like stopping here to get drinks and enjoying their pool. You don't have to be a guest to enjoy the outside of a lot of the resorts on the waterfront. They don't know that you're not a guest and you're still hanging out having fun spending money on some of their drinks and relaxing.

This is a comfortable and classic beach resort for unfussy people who want a relaxing, casual holiday. The best features are its absolutely beautiful gardens, pools with lots of comfortable seating, proximity to the beach, and proximity to other beach restaurants. As other reviewers have mentioned, the style of the rooms is dated and reminds me of old beach hotels in Florida. The rooms show a bit of wear but I think the property is a good value considering the location, amenities, and price. The rooms are spacious and they all have balconies with seats perfect for lounging in between pool and beach time. The shower head is updated and nice, the bed is huge, and the AC and hot water work fine. We also really appreciated their "green" initiative that gives you a 150 baht voucher per day if you don't ask for the room to be made up. We almost never use housekeeping at hotels because we hate the towels and linens changed after one use… which they tend to do, even if you ask them not to. So we really benefitted from that. The food and cocktails on site are not memorable but we did really like the Coffee Talk cafe onsite where you can get a good latte. If you want a super posh, modern place, look elsewhere. If you want an affordable, relaxing place steps from the beach with birdsong in the air, this is a good one.

Great territory, great breakfast, 1 minute and you're in a great, clear sea. Very comfortable spacious rooms.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are decent at a pretty good price point. Unfortunately the price of the food is way too expensive. This could be a family friendly hotel except that kids aged 5-11 have to pay THB 550 ($18) for breakfast. This charge is mandatory. You can't opt out of breakfast. The breakfast buffet was decent but it was always difficult to find a seat, the budget was regularly out of several items at any time, and simply not worth the cost.

Had a rest with grandchildren 2 weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food is varied, everything is delicious. Clean and clean. The hotel has several pools, its orchid park, wonderful grounds. The location of the hotel is good, near shops and cafes, currency exchange. Beautiful property with beach access, multiple swimming pools and amazing gardens. Very well behaved staff and also a very happy staff. We had a garden view room but also could see sea from it. Location is little away from party central Patong but can be done with a bike on rent from hotel itself starting as less as 200 B. Overall good experience.

The hotel is very nice. The hotel has a restaurant. The breakfasts in the hotel are European, with the touch of Asia, but for every taste, including for children. The beach is 2 minutes away. On the territory of the hotel there is a massage, highly recommend, children's room, twice a day carry animals in the garden. Rabbits, turtles, parrots. We stayed at a sea view room in Thavorn Palm Beach resort for 2 days and it was a lovely experience. Our room was very comfortable and furnished tastefully. Looks very elegant. Also there are fun activities such as pizza making and coffee making classes. The sea is sandy, no single rock. You should definitely stay here if you plan to visit Phuket (and dont forget to book a dinner at their Old Siam restaurant for a romantic dinner at sunset)

The common areas of the hotel are beautiful, the location is perfect, in front of Karon Beach. To improve the air conditioning of the rooms and in the evening there could be some bar of the hotel open to be able to have a beer.

WONDERFUL PLACE! The hotel have a good location, it has a eco friendly environment, the service is good and also the staff is very nice they are always wearing a smile that can give you a good vibes. They were also have a cutie animals such as parrot, rabbit, turtle and rooster. The room is very nice and comfortable to sleep. I can say that this hotel will gave you a great service that you wanted to.

We had dinner at the Old Siam Restaurant twice. It was quite nice. Very good decor. Different curries. We enjoyed the seafood buffet.

Beautiful resort place in front of the beach of karon beach. Property from the spacious, colonial-style, truly impressive, surrounded by greenery, with gardens and tropical plants are cared for down to the last detail. The room with sea view lovely, large with a terrace, and cleaning are charged separately. Swimming pool service, pool bar, great for happy hour, sun-beds and umbrellas free of charge. International breakfast plentiful, buffet dinner with Italian chef cooking pasta dishes can be expressed. Animation veratour young, friendly and never intrusive, what is very valuable for people like me who want to relax and enjoy the silence. I do not give full marks because there is something to be improved, as for example the gym is very old and dirty, the service in general. However, I would recommend this property to both couples and families, exceptional especially for the proximity to the beach, with crystal clear sea and uncrowded unlike the more famous patong beach.

Hilton has no room, chose the next door, cost-effective a lot. The hotel has been built for many years and the facilities are a bit old. But it was really built in the garden, so many orchids, I can not imagine the beautiful scenery when it blooms. There are lots of places and things for kids to explore, like birds, pigeons, turtles, and so on. Very close to the beach, very convenient.

Resort is very large with a spectacular garden, very spacious rooms with every comfort, very clean, daily change of sheets and towels, 5 huge swimming pools with bars, the only flaw is the staff terrible, and the kitchen is poor quality and of little variety, the croissants in the morning inevitable, our luck was to be the clients Veraclub then we had an Italian cook who cooked the pasta wonderfully, and the animation team Stefania and Alessio talented guys that are always present and super prepared and available to any of your needs, or every evening accompanied us to make laps and get to know Phuket, another jewel in the assistance Veraclub, Giuliano a very nice guy, always available at any time if you need it, and ready to solve any of your needs, beautiful even the tours that we recommended but super recommended SIMILAN ISLAND a true PARADISE. The hotel is in a great location. Many different figurines in oriental style. There is a bungalow area and two-storey cabins. Lots of lawns and pools. Access to the sea across the road. Karon Beach, one of the best in Phuket.

Good afternoon, evening… Were in this lovely hotel from November 28 to December 13, 2017. The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean. The food is delicious, no frills, any holidaymakers will be fed. The hotel grounds are very green, flowers, prudiki, statuettes and Banzajki. In the morning put on lawns cockerels, turtles, rabbits. Beautiful and clean reception, in the heat you can sit and relax. The sea is near… Jump track… We went straight to swimsuits. In relation to the sea the nicest location of our hotel. The water is very clean… Swim and see the bottom of the sea, water warm, bathed without leaving the sea for two hours. We were in 12 countries and 4 times in Phuket, ready to return again to this island. In Thailand, Phuket is the best holiday destination. All the advice of Karon Beach and with the hotel will not be guessed. Thank you, all the staff of the hotel.

The hotel is not bad, just do not live near the road, it is really noisy has been a car and motorcycle through.

The hotel is located close to the beach (but with a busy road inbetween) and has lovely gardens, but is somewhat worn and would require a renovation. The biggest problem however is that you need to bring the bank card which you used when doing the booking. Otherwise you will not be allowed to check in other than you pay the rates once again with a bank card you brought along. The original payment will then be reimbursed which can take up to 2 weeks and the customer not only carries the risk of double charging but also has to pay for the interest lost. Some people use special cards for online transactions, others loose their card and get it replaced. This is an unacceptable practice. Further, the hotel requests you to send credit card details in emails in order to confirm airport pick-up. This is a very bad practice as it is insecure to send such information over emails and with most European cards actually does not work as you need a PIN for using the card. On the upside, the Hotel Manager is very friendly and engages with customers. He does a great job.

More semblance than be! Far too expensive hotel.
The Karon Beach beach is great, but it is a public beach.
The rooms are moldy, the air conditioning extremely noisy, for a 5 star hotel too noisy. The exterior façade must also have a new coat of paint. In the room were insects, among other things (too) many ants and the pool was filthy.
I had to pay a deposit of 3000 baht and I don't get it back to the account in two weeks. Why do I have to pay so much deposit in a 5 star hotel? Don't go.
I do not recommend this hotel!

Perfect setting for a romantic getaway.
Located in 2mn on foot from the beach of Karon and close to various shops, including several restaurants, it is a beautiful place where "to plant your tent" You will sleep in a place blending the luxury and artisanal decor where you will have access to, about, 6 water spaces, 1 fitness room as well as sauna and SPA service.

Great hotel! Very well trained staff, beautiful great area! Across the road is Karon beach with amazing white sand and very clear water! For Russian speaking a huge plus will be the Manager Adel A. All questions feel free to ask him. The rooms are cleaned daily, odors are not noticed. The on-site pizzeria with excellent pizza.

We are not satisfied with the hotel at all. When we arrived we were offered a room, which was under all Nivou. We could move to a better room the next day. Now something to the pool. The loungers have no conditions. The pool bars make such loud music that you had to get ear stoepsel. It's a proper RUSSENHOTEL.

Lovely area of Phuket, not too party but enough going on to be entertaining. Beach nearby is not too crowded. The pools and swim up bar are amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. The gardens are gorgeous. The breakfast could be better but there is enough choice to find something to your taste. The rooms are clean and large. Room service by western standards is reasonably priced. Restaurants are higher priced by Thai standards. Sweet Talk dessert restaurant is great!

Very nice hotel. Actually there are two Thavorns in Phuket. One of them is at Kamala Beach name is Thavorn Beach Resort and the other one is at Karon Beach, our hotel name is Thavorn Palm Beach Resort. Main property of the hotel is botanical garden in the front. Garden is like a heaven. You can see every types of plants, birds, frogs, rabbits and turtles. You wake up with bird sounds. In our wedding anniversary night, they prepared a very cute and delicious cake for us. Staff is very respectful and they represent very quality service. I do not want to make any comment for food because it depends on your own palate. The hotel has five pools. In one pool there is a pub. You can sit in the water and have some drinks. As a summary, everything is designed for your comfort and making your holiday unforgottable. Thank you Thavorn Palm Beach Resort.

Delightful resort set in colonial fashion with a green ethos for environment. Generously helpful staff. Exquisite grounds to wander which makes this resort feel initimate and caring.

If you want nature, romance, fun with family and kids or even spend a quite time alone or with your partner, I will recommend Thavorn Palm Beach Resort. To me it was placed conveniently with tourist spots fairly nearby. There were 4 beautiful swimming pools and the Karon beach was just across the street. The bustling area of the Patong beach area and Bangla road was 400 baht ride by a tuk-tuk. The service was excellent and prompt. The room was clean, the air-conditioner worked beautifully. The managers Adel and Ton were extremely courteous and cooperative. They assisted in helping us to decide where to go, how to go and when to go. My entire family enjoyed staying at this hotel. I would give it a 10.

Not a place for solo travellers. Located on the south end of Karon beach is a bit far from city center. The property is older and needs improvement. Great for families looking to keep their children busy, they have 4 pools. Staff members are very helpful and have done a good job to maintain this resort.

Perfect place to stay with children. They have a few pools and one pool side bar. They also have a kids club and a massage corner next to the pool that was perfect. The beach is just 2min walking distance from the hotel and there are lots of restaurants and shops at the side of the hotel. I enjoyed relaxing at the pool / beach all day and then walking around the side market for some inexpensive local food that helped me save some money for the tours that was on offer. The hotel has a adult only wing and a family wing so this hotel is also suited for non kid friendly people:-)

Beautiful garden Great breakfast, shame that the rooms are dirty including the bathroom, plus the fins of the air conditioner are broken and by Mr Bravo. Briko I had to use Scotch. In the end I had to clean myself the bathroom and more than one morning it happened that we had no towels for the shower… Arriving in the evening after a sunny day and not having the towels to wash is not the best.

The best hotel in the world! The beauty is indescribable, all in the fountains, the orchid garden is a real botanical garden with rare plants! The staff is polite, always helps if the joint sends fruit as an apology. We had a new room. Respond to all requests within 5 minutes. Cleaning class, the only thing was a joint with water that was brought to us. They're probably spilling it, and the bottles are washing chemicals. So some butylkti bad've and the water was smelly. We've been complaining, we brought water in the other bottles! We've got a little bit of a room in the sea, but we didn't regret it!

We had a great experience. The two room suite was awesome to house my family. We enjoyed the Karon beach while the kids loved the swimming pools. The staff was every friendly and understanding.

The Hotel was an amazing place to stay. The grounds & pools were outstanding. The staff very friendly. The meals were superb. The bed was a little too hard for me.

Stayed At thavorn palm beach resort for 6 nights and really enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is just perfect. A very short walk across the road to the beach, there are loads of shops, restaurants and bars very close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although we arrived at 8am (6hrs before check in) the staff really looked after us by storing our luggage, giving us towels to sit by the pool, they even let us into the vip are for snacks and drinks before our check in. The rooms are spotless and clean and comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

My first hotel stay when we first visited in Phuket, Great customer service, cleaned our rooms every day! Breakfast buffet was amazing. Location was beautiful pretty much on the Karon beach.

I spent a fantastic week, starting from 17/2 to 2/24/16.
Firstly I have to say I had the best assistance from all staff in Italian, of course I speak of all, do not put the names, because I would not want to forget anyone. You are always behaved very well, trying to make my stay and other guests. At the beginning, just got here I had a little problem with the room and Lorenzo he solved in short time. Francis has cheered every night with his songs (hopefully in the future could break through, because he deserves it. The Pepper is always attentive and helpful, Matthew and mark always up, (I hope I didn't forget anyone) the Cook, I think his name is Marco, we cheered him every day for some succulent dish, there was regret our in Italy. If I could go again next year I'd find the same atmosphere. (I state, I was there last year too)

I liked the hotel, I particularly liked the cockerel which we called Peter, very nice running animals on the site of the hotel, clean carefully.

Very large balcony. — The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety of thai and non-thai dishes. — The staff was very polite and helpful. — The other restaurants on the property were a bit overpriced but there are very nice choices within 10-min walking distance. Try Ging's restaurant. — Wifi connection was pretty good within the room and throughout the hotel. — We arrived pretty late at night in phuket but the hotel had booked the transportation for us. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the hotel didn't tell us that that the driver wouldn't wait very long at the airport. Given that this was an international flight, going through customs and immigration can sometimes take a while. I think the hotel should be able to see the status of the flight and budget some extra wait time when they book the transfer for the guest.

The territory of the hotel very nice, but small. Maximum depth of the pools 1.6 meters. Breakfast is normal. Take tours with standard rooms cannot be climbed smells as dampness ancient furniture.
