Very recently stayed with my friend. This hotel is excellent in. All directions Staff, location, food and above all easy access to beach are all number one. Ramesh one of the chef at the hotel does perform his duties with smile and great passion. Reception and front desk staff is very helpful indeed. Met Australian couple at the resort who are the frequent visitor to the resort and share the same views. Would definitely visit again.

Horizon Karon Beach Resort is located on a hill with some ocean views and a beautiful tropical forest behind. Although the rooms are dated I found them comfortable. The staff are fantastic and are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinners are good and the pools are well maintained. Will definitely visit again.

Revisited around 10x with family and as a single. Top marks for family holiday, friendliness, broad range of food and drink. 'All' amenities on site but close to Kata and Karon beach fronts where there is a variety of competing restaurants and clothes/ fancy goods markets.

We visited this place for the first time. The staff was always so helpful pleasant well just to say so awesome. The front desk guest PRO was amazing. Ever so helpful and always took care of our needs till the day we left. Thank you Irish for all your help. May your career grow to greater heights. God bless till we meet again.

2nd visit in less than 12 months says it all. The staff are so friendly and remembered us from last visit and greated us with hugs. In the fridge was a cake for my birthday. The room over looking the pool in club privilege are huge and so clean. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Spend our Holiday here, very nice and good Hotel. Breakfast very rich and good. Rooms very nice and clean. Would come back at any time!

Great hotel, great service, great breakfast buffet. This hotel can only be recommended. In Phuket, smoking is prohibited on the beaches. Rauchetbereiche are available. Unfortunately, this has not yet arrived at the horizon Pool. You might get pretty fogged up. Therefore a star deduction.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is great. You can book day trips and rent a bike whitouth leaving the hotel. The room is clean, and the food is good. The sea is 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable, spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Balcony on ground level stepping out onto a crystal blue swimming pool with bar where you can also order light meals. Walking distance from beach and shops/restaurants. Laundry service and spa. All round very pleasant, relaxing stay.

Top hotel, delicious breakfast with huge selection. Fitness Studio well equipped. Comfortable beds, great service. Hotel is located on the mountain, the lazy can get away from the shuttle bus for free to the beach and back. Free shuttle bus to Phatong daily.

Very nice hotel, a few years old but still in good shape. Nice poolarea and very serviceminded staff. Good food too. A few hundred meters to Karon village, the beach and hundreds of restaurants and shops. I recommend this place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on a mountain. The breakfast is good. There are far too few lying at the pools. Great is that there is a free shuttle to Patong (about 30 mins drive)

Really nice hotel. Good quality vs price. Very close to the beach, a nice one, with free shuttle to Patong multiple times a day. It's in to of a hill, but they have a free tuktuk that picks you up and take you to the hotel. Service is really good, always smiling, and very collaborative. Breakfast is decent. And it has a nice swimmingpool if you don't feel like going to the beach.

This resort is a stunning establishment. We stayed on the adult-only side and it was delightful. In this section of the resort, you have access to the adult-only pool and common area, separate to the regular hotel facilities. I can't speak highly enough about this resort. The location across the street from the beach was ideal. Breakfast and dinner were included and were wonderful. The pool bars were refreshing and were staffed by friendly individuals. All in all an incredible place to call home in Phuket!

Recently spent eight lovely days at this beautiful hotel. Staff couldn't be more helpful and kind. We had an amazing time… first time to Thailand and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Close to local shops/restaurants/beach.

The hotel is located on the island of Phuket, has a cosy and modern rooms for families with children and one for couples, located right on the beach of karon.

We stayed here for a day, as we actually live in the sister hotel in patong. The hotel is located on a small hill. It is quiet and very well maintained. With VIP area for adults only.

It was a nice hotel clean and friendly staff but the food at the hotel is not recommended too expensive for Thailand but you have quickly run to the beach where there are really good restaurants at reasonable prices.

Typical warm and efficient Thai hospitality. Upgraded to the adults only Privelege Wing. Worth the additional fee for the quiet, dedicated pool area and special Privelege Lounge. Only complaints are that the bathroom looks a little worn out and theres a sewerage collection / treatment right next to the Privelege club pool area so the smell is awful. Very large and spacious rooms. Great food in the restaurants and nice entertainment every night.

The resort is atop a hill, a mere 2 minute walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are nice, the grounds are well maintained, it's beautiful there! The location is great too for going on tours of the island. I wish I stayed longer!

What a beautiful resort! We have stayed 4 times in the last 6 years and have loved every bit of it. The club rooms with a private pool for the big kids only is such a spoiling. Staff and management always serving with a smile and ready to help at anytime even if there are any issues to discuss. You always make us feel spoilt and welcomed. Many warm heart felt thanks.

Nice hotel in a beautiful setting. The only issue I would have is that there is lots of steps due to the hotel being on a hill, so it is not ideal for families with babies or very young children. Shuttle bus is a great idea that runs you down to the beach and picks you up again. That hill can be a real pain when you do it a few times each day. The hotel is close enough to Karon to enjoy casual walks and there are plenty of restaurants around if you don't fancy eating form the hotels restaurant.

Great hotel! They have a regular shuttle to Patong which is. Very convinient. Located on a hill, but a shuttle will take you up and down the hill whenever you want. Staff very friendly and speaks great English. Nice pools, umbrellas for rain or beach for rent. Wi-Fi is great, TV in English.

Best place to stay in Phuket! Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff and very clean and safe resort. We stayed in Horizon Patong in 2013 and loved it so thought we would stay in Karon this time and are very happy we did. For 5 of our group it was a second stay with them and we were upgraded to the privilege club and with the upgrade we were entitled to free lunch every day. There was always an assortment of nibbles and drinks which were delicious and plenty for lunch and that saved quite a bit of money over the two weeks we were there. We will definitely stay with Horizon every time we go to Thailand. We will be back in July of 2016. Can't wait! There were 10 of us. 4 Adults, 5 teenagers between 15 and 19 and one child of 8 years old. This is a very family friendly hotel. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Loved it so much! The location is great. The food is good. The pools and bars are amazing. The problem is there were BUGS IN OUR ROOM AND IN THE BED. My wife and I came home from our trip covered in bites! Stay in another nearby hotel if you can.

A wonderful vacation! The food is Super! We live in a privileged zone, where only couples without children! Your pool, compliments — free snacks from 12 to 14. Near beach, free shuttle to Patong. Mostly foreigners.

I have stayed at this place maybe 5 times, both as a single person and last time with my Chinese fiancee, now my wife. The resort is in a wonderful location, and the staff, as most Thai people, is wonderful. Service is excellent and restaurant is OK. Oh — for some reason this review is being published under my Wife, s name. I am from the east coast of the US. Maryland.

Good hotel by the beach. Good service and nice rooms with view to the beach.

Paid extra to be separate part of hotel so there would be no kids. Hotel decided to upgrade family's into our section. Stupid.
