The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they made you feel welcomed and special. The facility activities are great for the whole family.

This was our first trip to Thailand and it was amazing. The Centara Grand was perfect in every way and we would definitely stay there again. The staff were amazing and the hotel room was as advertised when booked.

Lovely staff! Easy to move around and buggy is always available for those who need it. Clean rooms and amenities.

I love that they have take away boxes for me to take away some food for the kids' snacks, as we are out the whole days on island tour. The services are great. The breakfast buffet is great. My kids ate their spaghetti bolognese for dinner every night during our week stay.

Anan has gone above and beyond with service to me in the restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, he always remembered what my preferences were and supplied them to me before I even needed to ask. Enjoyed the pools, quiet beaches, the proximity to Karon and Patong was great with taxi and tuk Tim’s easy to find for transport. The beach in Patong was by much busier. Than the beach we fronted at Centara.

Manager and staff members of this resort are amazing. We walked outside without umbrellas 🌂 and one of the staff members gave us their own so we can walk to breakfast during a 🌧️. If You need anything, we just dial 0, and helpful operator will accommodate almost every request! They are my heroes 💕

The property is very beautiful, clean, well maintained, great food and wine and the staff are truly hospitable, need to experience it to believe it.

The room is aged and not clean. The room is also smelly. The service at reception is inefficient. It is not a five-star hotel as they claim. We felt it should be 3-4 stars. Our toilet was leaking twice. The second time, they moved us to another room on the upper level. The smell improved and was cleaner, but it is still not clean. We felt like this was 3-4 star. Hence, we don’t recommend this hotel.

We had a great time in Centara Grand. The hotel is amazing and food is excellent. The staff are very helpful, especially Bib who was so friendly and helped us a lot during our stay 😊

The service is really poor, waiters are abrupt when delivering food to the table, the food quality is average and cold. It’s a shame as the hotel is in such a beautiful setting but the restaurants are so poor.

Room has great view and privacy… go for luxury jaguzzi suite Long beach, 24-7 fitness center, variety and delicious breakfast, staff will make sure to attend to yr needs if u want special dish or service, fun pool areas, activities such as snooker, table tennis, game arcade, spa +close to Ta-chalong piers.

Loved it! Such a great place for families with kids. Only negative was they can't guarantee room types. For example we booked and paid for 2 x Ocean View Spa Rooms and only got one with the Ocean view. The other had a view of the pool area. A bit dissapointing.

Great resort with friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint I have is that the water park was closed Saturday afternoon for cleaning (probably the busiest time). There are many, many stairs to climb, but with a little extra walking you can take lifts. Would I go back? — yes.

Loving our holiday here. Gorgeous place, attentive and friendly staff with something new and fun to do everyday without ever leaving. Food is great and happy hour everyday means good alcohol prices.

The resort is right on Karon beach. The location is nice, pool and beach are nicely integrated. Many families with kids come here so family friendly place. Two queen size beds in a room really helps when traveling with kids. Staff overall friendly however few understand English but do get the job done. Karon market is 1.5 km walking and walking via beach is easiest and pleasing. For Indian travelers particularly the vegetarian kinds this may not be ideal since breakfast options are very limited for that segment, otherwise the food is a large spread and selection. Prices are in the higher side all around be it food laundry or other amenities (example 500 ml water is 100 baht. So u get the drift)

Perfect location, beachfront area. Great pools. But some room are too old — facilities and wood walls decor. Very cold floor. In some room too dark, because of the blind curtains.

Very nice resort at the seaside. Staff very attentive and friendly. It is possible to alternate sea and pool. You can also choose between animated areas and calm zone according to its desires.

If you are dear to your health this hotel is better not to go. At first glance, everything is tempting, the first line, beautiful photos of the rooms, etc. And the fact that the rooms are old, very noisy, we have a room with a pool, constantly included some pumps, such a feeling as bud in the factory live. The rooms are very clean. Water in the room has to beg for. Or they have such a strategy to increase the sales of water in the bar. Given the inability to get out of the hotel on foot (no road), lack of infrastructure around the hotel (only by taxi to the city 200 brother) The prices are all just cloudy. Hello. In Tsentar in April with his wife. The tour took in TPG, indicating that we are looking for a secluded place, in quiet, in the wilderness, away from civilization. The manager, approx worked with us offered different options, but this hotel immediately attracted, and chose it. Got with the komphorom. Guests are brought to the hotel by boats. We meet sociable, cheerful and responsive employees who try to create ideal conditions for the guests. The room we had was overlooking the pool and the sea. Spacious, beautiful, neplohja insulation. Big bed, good air con. On the terrace table and chairs. The bathroom is clean enough, the plumbing is in good condition. Everything that was necessary to us was conveyed and changed in time. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. The food at the hotel is perfect I would say we had BB. Very tasty and varied breakfasts, where in addition to the standard set (cheese, toast, prickly, omelet, salad, fruit) You can also taste the local cuisine. Fruits in general I pleased, almost every day added some new, in addition to watermelon, pineapple and melon, tried almost everything that is in the Taye. Lunches and dinners are very hearty, never had the desire to eat outside the hotel. The only thing-specify the seasonings, especially if you take a national dish-can be tasty, but so spicy! The territory of the hotel is large, there are vegetation, flowers, which are carefully cared for and keep an eye on cleanliness.

Very comfy hotel komplex providing enough privacy and plenty of leisure and relax areas. Swimming pools are very close to hotel rooms, variety of water areas is available (pools for adults, pools for babies and smaller children). Beach is just in from of the hotel. Unlike many other hotels in the area, in Centara Brand Beach hotel complex you go straight to the beach, no need to cross any road or route full of cars. This is a great advantage of this hotel. Service and staff is super pleasant and kind. Plenty of other hotel services (baby corner with babysitting, bar, restaurants) are available. Very recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort. It seems like more of a family getaway resort more than honeymoon as there are many kids. Food is not the greatest but they have quite a selection of food choices. Beach view is absolutely breathtaking and the room was super comfy. I do want to note that the resort is not walkable to the city, so it would cost around 300-400 baht to taxi there. Also, if you are looking to taxi back to the the Phuket airport it would cost 1800 with resort taxi or download the grab app (old uber) and pay 1000.

Well maintained pools. We love the one close to the sea. And our children love the cliff you can jump of into the pool. Activities for the kids are available every day. It can be a bit crowded on the high season but even then you will find a nice spot to sit. The staff are nice and helpful. The beach is amazing as we.

We went on a family holiday which was great! The staff at Centara welcome you and they are very friendly, by the time you leave you feel like part of the family. Choice of food excellent, pool and facilities amazing. The Spa is very good. We took their credit option if you get 100000 Thai baht they give you 100000 more to spend during your stay, they have small amounts option as well. The location is on the beach, soft sand very nice walk. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel if you go on holidays with kids (including small babies).

Super place… Beautiful beaches.

I loved it in this hotel, only one but very expensive and Ostalnoevsjo class I liked the beach the sand creaks and the room is beautiful with a sea view, the pool was cool Vodichka but there are huge rocks under the water I Scratched very this stone can not even stand up.
And it was fun when running lizards of course it was scary that they were in the pool area on the bridges and walls are also here devilled transparent very cute!
Where the pool area well where from the cliff jump there here's a depth of 4 meters it's good but it was scary. When the clock jumped flew and on the bottom we vsore them when plunged into the depth. Last time on that zone with jumps I have seen as from a bottom has floated a big monitor I immediately ran to a roller coaster rolled and ran away in a large pool.

Way too many good things about this place. All I can fault it is on the chairs in the coast dining room are very low and awkward to eat off the table, Great for lounging but not for dining. Also there is a disturbing odor in the Mare dining room. Other than that order stay there was awsome and pleasant.

Sand because of structure belenki and creaks under feet, early morning of the people practically is not present, it is possible to walk in pleasure, to be photographed and to swim. Day a lot of people, but the number does not make you think about the escape, tolerate. Amazing sunsets. Beds are rented in pairs plus an umbrella for 150 baht. Massage, coconuts, fresh juices. Much charred-beware of the equatorial sun.

An amazing setting, right on the beach. Such a wonderful design to be able to eat looking out at the beach. Cliff jumping and slides are great for kids. Lovely food, the coffee is excellent. Lots going on all day if you want to join activities. Only a couple of hundred baht into Karon in a taxi. We got a lot of mosquito bites, could do with a plug in for the room as they are around day and night.

Swimming pool worthy of a water park.

Simply wonderful super organized perfect for families with children also thanks to the presence of international entertainment. A choice of restaurants with different menus (including an Italian restaurant with an Italian chef) plus is only a few minutes away by moped from Phuket. Friendliness, smile, cleanliness, attention. Pool only for adults and pool for all more slides and "rapids" private beach and breathtaking Spa views. In short, a paradise! Super recommended.

Great place to stay on Karon beach. Incredibly clean beach with gorgeous sunsets. Beach is crowded off property. A large, spread out resort with dedicated kids offerings. A bit dated and the service was alright but not excellent. My family had a great time.

Krvsivyj Hotel on the coast-the pool almost goes to the beach… Very cozy interior courtyards… With small slides and canals… But a little crowded… Maybe I thought… I was not inside-just walked along the sea and looked…

Pros: 1. Cool that beach right away (no need to walk across the road) 2.3. Good staff For Thailand is quite large, but the compact area 4. Lovely big clean beach 5. No tides/Ebb 6. Beautiful green area with ponds and lilies 7. Almost all rooms have sea view 8. Beautiful Pools 9. The best restaurant with Naivkusneyshimi dishes. With a very beautiful feed. It is considered the best Italian restaurant on the coast.
Here, even from other hotels come to dinner those who have a local kitchen.
10. Great Wi-Fi with great range (beach restaurants and catches me even outside the hotel) Cons: 1. Large selection of breakfast items, but the menu does not change. And for ourselves from the whole menu we chose a little edible. Interesting lot, but so… Try it at once.
2. Not very clean (but it is visible in all of Thailand) 3. In 17.00 Everything near the pool grows to work 4. Lizards roam through the territory, but people afraid, close fit seldom.

Resort great, cozy place facilities authentic, swimming pool area magnificent, beach at foot of hotel, from the pool it appears that you are in the sea to be swimming pool infinity edges.

Very nice grounds outside the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, some restaurants on the premises are no longer in operation. Therefore only four stars. The service is good, courteous and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is fine.

A very good hotel with a direct beach location (rare in Karon beach)!
In total, my wife and I were there for 9 days and I had no complaints.
Rooms were clean, the complex was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly.
The only criticism is that the pool was a little too small.

At first we were not pleased. The honeymoon room we booked was drastically different than what we saw online and we spent a couple hours working with the staff for a better room. We are now in room 147 and I think it's a superb room with a spa and a ocean view. Originally, the other room was so far away from the ocean, had an obstructed view and came with 2 double beds (no king bed). The staff are helpful and very friendly.

Of the Pros:
is an interesting pond where you can always feed fish. During the day there is still a guard of the Varan, who catches on your eyes these fish. At night, frogs and snails. In general, children are interested!
Is not a crowded beach. Interesting "singing" sand.
Good breakfast.
Of the minuses:
— When cleaning in the room, you need to control the replacement of towels and bathrobes. If you do not leave a tip, will not clean.
— There is no pedestrian road towards the center of the district. It is necessary to move on road about 50 m to the nearest sidewalk. In the daytime, no problem. But at night. Especially with a stroller. Trouble!

We spent almost 2 weeks here in August and it was brilliant… the Hotel is on a private end of the beach hence you could run out of pool and straight to the beach which my girls did time and time again… also it’s within a walking distance (about 15mims) to Phuket centre where you have loads of restaurants. Regarding facilities, we can’t fault the 5star rating of the hotel as it was excellent… our room had a plunge pool which girls spent hours cooling off in prior to heading out for dinner… meals were good and varied although we chose to eat out a lot. Would highly recommend this hotel for its location, facilities and service and did I mention that the staff were exceptional also! Unlike a lot of places — Centara Grand @ Phuket deserves its 5 star rating.

Great property for couples and families with kids. It has direct access to beach and many pools including an adult one. Follow the daily deals and happy hours for enjoying 2 for 1's.

Don't expect ocean view even when you paid for it. Be prepared to be scammed by their false advertising.

We had the Jacuzzi room with an amazing view to the beach. The room itself is not so spacious. Breakfast buffet is big, but getting kind of boring after a few days. Overall the restaurants and food is very good. Every day day have different themes so you won't get tired of the food. Staff is very friendly and always helpful for all your needs. Very child friendly hotel with plenty of things to do for the kids. My personal highlight is definitely the GYM. Plenty of new and well maintained equipment. Muay Thai personal trainer. Opens 24h. Also the Spa I highly recommend. Only the price of the rooms compared to other hotels in this price class seems a bit to high for what you get. Also a bit disappointed about that they charge extra for the Wi-Fi.

An amazing stay at centara grand. We were very pleased with the location on the hotel on the beach (unlike most hotels that were a long walk to the beach) this corner of the beach makes for almost a private clean beach which is a super plus point. Not forgetting all the awesome facilities at the hotel like the multiple pools, mini water park, wide dining choices & restaurants and a short walk from town. We had the premium spa room for our stay. This was the best choice I made. They are only on the top floor of the buildings. Beautiful views& privacy. Karon town is few minutes away from a few dining options. But for shopping and partying make sure to go to patong beach (15mins away).

Great Sunset View! Great Romantic Getaways. Friendly staffs. Fully equipped with services like Spa, Gym, Restaurants, Tennis, Water parks, Private beach, Kids playground etc.

Very overpriced hotel, just paying for the view. Staff can't speak any English, they like to charge you for anything. Definitely not 5* hotel needs to reviewed. Hotel food is a joke not hygienic, cross contamination will not be there again.

Actually, the beach in the north secluded part of Caron is a great architecture, a good service. Not sure about 5 *, but better than the surrounding 4

I was walking around the teretori of the hotel. Teretorja Hotel is very big and well cared for. The hotel is located on the first line, to the sea of meters 30.

One of the best hotels on the beach of Caron. There's a water park and swimming pools with ocean view. There are rooms with their own pools. It's a great entrance to the ocean and beach. Caron is the best beach in the Phuket, in my opinion.
The location is very good. Walk to the centre of active life in the village for about 20 minutes walk on the road and there's not a sidewalk everywhere. You can ride a taxi-200/300 baht to one end.

A fantastic resort, brilliant choice of cafe, restaurants, bars and private dinning experiences. There were weddings, birthdays and other small events set up with the beach as a back — drop. Just like they show in travel broachers and magazines. Picture — perfect. No wonder everyone was taking so many selfies (including us) … A special mention for the Resort Staff — friendly, attentive, alway's smiling — nothing was a problem. Even when I requested Vegemite for my toast on day 12 after having 3 courses of exotic and local dishes including fresh fruit and eggs cooked in more combinations than you can imagine for the other 11days… Just wanted basic vegemite on toast and freshly brewed coffee YUM… OK, went back for fresh fruit and waffles as it was my last day. Loved the bathroom and was spoilt with the spa-bath on the balcony overlooking the beach each afternoon whilst making the decision — where to have dinner that night. OMG the biggest decision of the day. It was a pleasure to meet some of other guests that had been to this Resort before. They offered tips on where to go and what to see. Hope to get back next year to catch up with our new friends and make sure I book for the Thai cooking course. My tip — Visit the Day Spa at the Resort. Great hotel. Its our 5 th time here. It have ben raining for 10 days but NOT hotels fault. Housekeeping was exelent by ms. Jum.

Not good at all first night at check-in they want lump sum deposit then went to our room it was dirty dusty filthy no hot water, water was running brown. NOT child friendly at all nowhere to bath todlers, no parents bathroom no change tables at all in the whole resort, no access way for prams. House keepers breaking our stuff management dont do anything about it, the pools are infectious and the rough pool tiles made the kids toea wear till they bled. Plus dont forget the hidden taxes 10% and on top another 7% and it is smelly beyond anything, don't know why people are rating 5 stars when clearly its not and dont put your kids in the kids clib the workers dont care they shout at the kids with no parents there scissors on tables all toys are broken and unsafe. A lot of small choking hazards on the floor so parents keep an eye on your kids. And wich lobby doesn't have air conditioning and stray dogs all over the place we'll never go back there…

The wastewater goes uncleaned 50 m from the hotelbeach into the sea. It smells terrible and is black. The whole beach is contaminated.

Spent 9 days here. Great for my 6yo son who loved the pool and kids club. The beach is right there and the shops a few minutes walk. Snorkelling was thoroughly enjoyed. Mare Italian restaurant is divine and the breakfasts at The Cove were great. Our room was gorgeous with our own pool. We enjoyed happy hour cocktail sundowns at the pool too. Highly recommended.

I love this hotel.

Check in was quick enough and we had an English speaking employee guide us to our room and go through various aspects of our room and the hotel in general. The room was average, firstly missing slippers as pointed out by our English speaking guide, she stated they were to be replaced but never were. Bed room was nice, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was large enough but shower was the big let down. Damaged soap holder fell off as soon as we used it, missing nozzel in shower head caused harsh jet of water when used. Shower had hot and cold bursts, pressure was average. To hotels credit the soap tray and nozzel were fixed promptly after complaint made, however having tradesmen in your room for an hour or two isn't expected or wanted plus the smell of the glue they used persisted for some time. Toilet leaked slightly and an unusual gurgling/burping noise came from plumbing/drains at various times during day and night. Balcony area nice and included a spa, very nice view of resort and beach. Air con was a little noisy, only really an issue at night when trying to sleep. The grounds were excellent, lush and green, lighting in some areas however was poor. Maintenance crews were a familiar site but they were unobtrusive. The pool areas were excellent especially for children, slides, tube rides and pools abound, all very clean. Pool side bar was average due to food orders taking near half hour to be served, would expect faster service.

We always stayed at Centara Grand at Central World and we love it! Let's try this from phuket.

Enjoyed many days by this pool with the kids. A great resort with beach front location. The pool with slides and jumping cliff, along with lazy river keeps the kids busy all day. Pool side service for cocktails and beers keeps Mum and Dad happy! There Sunday Brunch was good too, its recently moved locations onto the beach so even better views with your brunch I expect. Nice and close to everything, with its central location on the middle of the west coast beach area. Cant really walk to the shops and local restaurants though.

Great place besides stink.

We really enjoyed our stay thru out @ Centara Grand. We booked the Spa Jacuzzi Room and was given the best seaview at level 4. Services was fantastic with all the staff greeting you everywhere you go. The breakfast was great too, many varieties to choose from. We had fun too at the waterpark and their private beach was simply stunning. Special thanks to the security guards at the beach as they waited till we played enough and came up safely. It was around 7pm. Will certainly love to be back there again.

Recommend with children, the best so far for a vacation in Phuket (where I was). Get ready for a good holiday to spend even a day per person for about 3000 baht for food, liquor, rent a car, a trip to the sights and concerts.
