It’s a beautiful resort. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The buggy service to and from our room was superb.

The concierge is unhelpful and rude. Very unresponsive.

We stayed there for almost 3 nights. We had two bedroom suite and with jacuzzi in. My son enjoyed the weather and In room pool. It’s very much kid friendly and family place. My son who is extremely picky eater had food there for dinner and for breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also had Indian food options for breakfast and dinner which made a bit easier for my son.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights without any regrets! ☺️ We stayed in king bed with plunge pool room type. The room is very spacious and nice. We were impressed with private plunge pool with sea view. Next, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet especially cold pressed juice and croissants. 🤤 Enjoyed the stay very much and will return for sure! ♥️♥️

The room and restaurants are newly renovated. Breakfast was good, offering variety of food and staffs were helpful. However everything was destroyed by the rudest Executive Chef I ever met.

Generally it's very Hyatt Standard, Front Office receptionist are super friendly and helpful. Nice room ambience but what surprised me is the quality of the food we have had last night what exceptional. Best hotel food experience ever. Great job and excellent cook by Chef Kreaton Cutajar and team! 👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍 It's Michelin worthy to me! Highly recommended.

A fabulous experience, the hotel highly recommended different; located in the hills with an unrivalled view. Extremely quiet place, great design, and location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff 100% friendly, made me feel like they were my family. The delicious food, and the warmth of people like Ann made me want to RETURN to this hotel!

What an amazing hotel with the friendliest of staff. Buggies readily available, drivers remember us and are super friendly! If you can spare the $$ go for the Regency Suites for the added bonuses and beautiful spacious rooms! I will miss my bed being made daily, the beautiful breakfast view from the Regency Lounge and the amazing service from Reen our buggie driver. Thanks for making our first Os trip so memorable! We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful hotel with great pool and ocean view. If you are looking for easy access to night life, this is not the hotel for you unless you want to take a taxi. However, if you want seclusion, peace and quiet then definitely book.

What an amazing views of the ocean from the massive infinity pool. We spent our honeymoon here for 5 nights. Enjoyed the romantic dinner at the sunset grill (must for all couples). Enjoyed the spa treatments. Food was great and so were the people. Thai hospitality is indeed the best. We will return. Maybe next time with our kids. Thank you Hyatt Regency Phuket Team.

Horrible service…
AC not working and overall experience was very poor.

I have nothing more to say, the hotel is very gorgeous. I will be back to stay for a second time and ever. Thank you for the staff there very helpful.

Excellent place for great relaxation. Very calm and posh place. The beach is very close by. The infinity pool is amazing. The Hyatt restaurant is damn good and the price is really really affordable. Indian cuisine is awesome. Apt place for romantic dinner. Really enjoyed.

Stayed for 10 day, staff were super friendly and helpful. Food at the hotel was average but passable. Overall really enjoyed the relaxing stay. Pool side bar service was a winner… =D Edit: PS the beach in front of the hotel is not swimmable due to how rocky it is… Not that it's an issue with the awsome pool.

Quiet and lush green! Good service and friendly staff. I’m enjoying the stay here and it lives up to its hyatt branding. I arrived past midnight and was checked in within 5 mins. Conference rooms are well appointed and Wi-Fi works flawlessly. Would recommend anyone visiting Phuket to stay here.

Stylish, pathetic, tasty, cozy.

The rooms are extremely far apart. To the rooms you have to be driven with golf caddys and it took every time for one to come. There would have to be significantly more drivers on the road. Furthermore, the nearest beach is not within walking distance (I guess at least 45 minutes on foot). The hotel offers a shuttle service, but this one is more than ridiculous. First, he travels only 5 times a day and even only 3 times back. It is also a car with space for a maximum of 8-10 people. That means you can safely forget the shuttle. So you have to take a taxi to every trip to the beach (one way about 500 baht). The staff speak only very poor English. On the day of arrival we wanted to have a bite to eat in the hotel restaurant, but we were told at just before 9 p. M. That it would be closed in 5 minutes. No one could recommend a restaurant nearby at the reception. To top it all off, we were presented with a mini-bar bill on the day of departure for drinks that were not consumed by us at all. All in all, I would strongly advise against this hotel.
The only good thing is the pool landscape.

We just returned from a lovely week at the Hyatt. From the check in process which was very personal to the amazing staff all over the hotel. We stayed at the club level and really thought it was good value for money. Amazing views from the room and the regency club across the ocean really warm staff across the hotel and never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for a buggy to take you to the upper terraces. Kids club was fantastic — very flexible as you can drop them off any …time and they have activities throughout the day with very interative staff who love children. We used the regency club everyday and round the staff excellent — that's to Din, Watson and team for making it so memorable. High quality food and wine served between 5-7 everyday. The pool is very large and very warm and the pool service with cabanas and remote buzzers to call staff a nice touch. Pool restaurant also high quality and good service although prices can be quite high. We also use the Spa. A lovely sanctuary with great staff. Although prices are high for Thailand we felt. The hotel is only 4 years old and you can just see that it's starting to weather a little with the climate — we still felt it was lovely although it will probably need updates in the next couple of years to maintain the quality we experienced. We shall be returning soon with extended family within the next 2 months.

Nice room with a good view. Not the best resort, but still pretty good. Great pools.

The rooms are very nice though, the entire facility suffers from mold infestation. Hard to see though, clearly smelling in the room. If you are unlucky you get a room at the outer edge of the building. There are the Megalauten air conditioners. The rooms inside have no Luftentfäuchter this means moist clothes never dry and the bed varnishes are always moist. I didn't have a single pleasant night in this facility. We changed four of Malta's rooms. The plant would actually have to be demolished. An absolute perk for a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful place and simply loved the experience. The room was large and spacious with a personal jacuzzi and balcony outside. I was on business travel so didn’t enjoy these facilities but should be great for family travel.

Sunday brunch is a real let down Hyatt is a great place to chill for Sunday brunch However be careful what they offer. The food is excellent and it's free flow. However they offer six hours and food is finished in three hours. It's all gone. They take it away they don't tell you this. So it's not 6 hours of food. Or bloody Mary's. It's gone too. Again should be advertised. Oh and don't be late on last orders no warning. At 6.01pm it's finished. Missed it by 1 minute and no chance. So, nice. Atmosphere. Good food. Just be honest on what you offer.

Very nice place to stay, very affordable when you think of a nice resort style place to stay in Phuket. Room was very clean, spacious, terrace was a nice touch. Their concierge service is great, very nice and easy to have the trip planner on site to help make suggestions and book accommodations. Plenty of food options if you don't want to leave. Friendly and helpful staff all around the resort. Workout classes, spa, 20 minute room service, buggies drive around, nice dinner location, casual dinner location, evening events to partake in, buffet breakfast, pool service — they have what you need. P. S. It is not adult only or adult only pool options so great for families but if you don't want that consider going to one of the beach clubs for the day or just stay at an adult only place.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We were in an Ocean View Room and wow what a great view! We found the service to be fantastic, everyone was so friendly. And we had a few cocktails at the pool bar which were delicious — must try is the Dark & Spicy Rum cocktail. The room was very spacious and was so comfortable, we were so happy with the room. Would love to visit the Hyatt again!

I wouldn't come again. The service of the staff is class However, the hotel is located on a beach which is not usable so you have to take a shuttle to Kamala Bay. This only starts from 11:00 and only until 18:00. If you want to take a taxi the same time 8 euros and that just for the easy ride. That goes into the money when you drive back and forth more often. After Patong it becomes much more expensive by taxi. Back and forth over 20 euros. Since you have nothing at the hotel except a mediocre restaurant and the prices in the hotel is not exactly low, one feels either imprisoned in the resort or treated unfairly over the description of the hotel. We thought it was right on a beach which is also usable with a few shops restaurant etc. But you can't even walk anywhere because there is no sidewalk and the road is very confusing. The location of the hotel is very clean. Otherwise the rooms are very moldy and the older ones smell too. The pool is huge which is very pleasant however not exactly clean. On the water surface swimming all sorts of little things that I was not pleasant and for a 5 star house it is shameful how dirty this pool is. The hotel was the last point of our round trip and we were looking forward to a few nice days but unfortunately it was the worst hotel of all.

This is a high end all inclusive resort. The grounds and facilities are large enough and spacious enough that it doesn't feel too busy even at peak season (Christmas/New Year). The rooms are spread out in many separate buildings which gives it a closer feel. The rooms are well turned out and spacious with a tub (some have a private plunge pool). For the price it's great. My only complaints — breakfast doesn't have much choice for a Hyatt Recency and the gym is pretty rubbish, cardio only.

Very nice hotel with an amazing pool and nice room, however, even if the rooms are cleaned, they are not totally. I noticed that it was only the bed with a change of sheet if it is dirty.
Towels are changing but no room storage is done.
The rooms with pool view are not rooms with Jacuzzi but simply a mini pool of 2m in length and 60cm in width so for only one person.

Great place to stay and the service was fantastic. You might see comments about the poor buggy service but I did not feel so. My room was way at the top near the regency club and had to call the buggy each and every time. Food was great. They have 2 restaurants. The pool is good. The beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for bathing since its rocky. Had a perfect stay for 4 nights.

Roomy suites, Regency Club access is the best. Excellent place to chill with good restaurants and facilities, one could certainly spends a day or two without getting out of the hotel. Staff are way above average when compared to hotels of the same scale. Highly recommend.

Here for a wedding so also stayed at the location. The hotel has about a handful of suites and other units available, built along a steep hill which can get around by buggy or on foot if you enjoy a hike. Surrounded by a tropical rain forest there are of course some creepy crawlies but they are harmless (moths and little flies at times) but I have to say bugs haven't been much of an issue here. Rooms are spacious although the facilities appear old and weary, and tourists coming from first world country be warned, no toilet paper into the toilet bowls as it will clog. A little shower is available next to the toilet to clean like a bidet. The food is somewhat disappointing though, whether it be food off the menu or their complimentary buffet breakfast.

We checked in today for our 30th Wedding anniversary for three nights. We got here at 12:30 and had to wait til 3. To get our room. My husband has Hyatt status and we we still had to wait, almost always we are able to check in early. This hotel is very run down, we are very disappointed, pictures on website are very old. This is not anything we would expect from a Hyatt property. When we booked this they asked if we wanted early check in and we said yes. We left a beautiful Park Hyatt room in Bangkok to just sit here and wait for our room.

All the staff are friendly! But the decoration is a little residual bath a dozen mosquitoes do not cleanse the balcony has mosquitoes did not go to exterminate the whole only value of Samsung half!

Very very bad first impression. Arrived the hotel at 14:30, staff asked for our passports for checking in then told us first our room will not be close to our friends who checked in 1 day ago, then the room will not be ready until 16:00. Asked for the manager but was told he/she was busy. Finally the staff offered us free drink at the bar but when arrived the waitress said we can only have free soft drinks. Replied that we have our own soft drink and we insisted to have our room in 15 minutes, then come back saying it's miscommunication and we can have free non-alcoholic drinks. To be continued…

We booked an 8 night stay through Luxury Escapes, upgrading to the top package for an extra $1, 000 AU plus an additional night at $200+AU. The resort itself is quite dated, and looks a lot older than all of the photos show. We were extremely disappointed that our package which gave us a 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner & 1 cocktail PP was all limited menu. Considering the package itself wasn't cheap, plus we upgraded for an extra $1, 000 being presented with special limited set menus for every meal was EXTREMELY disappointing & definitely made it seem like we were being taken advantage of. Knowing what we know now, we definitely would not have bothered with the upgrade. It was a waste of quite a lot of money & there was no value in it for us. The staff were fantastic. Definitely some language barriers but that is to be expected, and we are in their country after all! Overall, we wouldn't do this package again. Or at least stick to the very basic package & keep more money in our pockets for outside the resort.

Were 2 times in this hotel. Just perfect for a relaxing stay on Phuket. Good staff, nice room. Especially on the hillside. Fantastic sunsets to watch.

Staff was great! The gym is well equipped and the Spa services amazing! The pool is beautiful and breakfast delicious with lots of options for everyone.

The terrace room is by far the best view you can get, 5plus the outdoor terrace with the Jacuzzi gives a bit more privacy to your relaxing experience. It has sunbeds and a large outdoor sitting area. The main pool is huge with the perfect water temp. Internal trasportaion around the resort is a bit slow but tolerable. The overall atmosphere is peacefull and quiet perfect for relaxation. I'm coming back here again.

Great Stay Good Service — We would love to return again and again :) Club lounge is so nice and also has an amazing ocean view. Loved everything from the staff in all sections from the lobby, the food and drink staff, spa staff, gardens are kept beautiful from the staff the pool is great loved spending time their staff looking after you with towels and last the way the staff keep our rooms lovely and clean. Thank you for the great service.

A really nice and relaxing place. I was there for work. The staff are very sweet and welcoming. You have this cute golf cart to come and pick you up from your room and drop you off at the breakfast and reception. That's really special. Nice ocean view from your room absolutely love it. Definitely coming back!

Great hotel on the hillside by the sea. Lovely main pool as well private plunge pools in some of the rooms. Friendly service and good food options making it great choice of stay for weekend getaway.

Amazing resort this is. Great facilities, very helpful and amiable staff.

The resort is a good place if you are coming for a planned activity inside the premises like team building, workshops etc. There is no private beach and the beach nearby is not good at all. Nearest would be Kamala beach, for which you need to either take the shuttle from the hotel or arrange your own transport. The compound is hilly with a lot of ups and downs, but they provide you with golf-carts for transportation inside.

The Hyatt usually does not disappoint and this resort is a well run and clean hotel. There are a few drawbacks however. Being on a steep incline, there are no stairs or elevators from the rooms to the lobby, pool and restaurant area. You can either walk up and down the little road or be subject to the people cart. Waiting for a ride on the cart sometimes takes some time and the drivers do not drive like they have guests clinging for their lives on the back, they drive like they are in a race. I can see how easily people might roll off and down a hill. This is also why it is not a good idea to walk, the hills and corners hide pedestrians. It seems ironic that there are numerous alarms and safety instructions throughout for evacuation, but you're left relying on the carts to get down the hill. Some of the facilities are not very well constructed; some fencing falling apart leaving rusty nails sticking out, personal pools not circulating and filtering the water properly, floors buckling. The food served here is excellent with either authentic Thai or Italian choices. The breakfast buffet is amazing, if not a bit overpriced.

Great club, nicely appointed rooms, the hills are but of a pain, but the views make up for it!

Must book a club access room! Happy hour at Regency club is superb! Free wine, beer and snacks with fabulous view.
