Krabi Tipa resort is very beautiful hotel mid range with a perfect location in Ao Nang Krabi. We stayed at an Ocean Jacuzzi suite for two nights during Songkran which is Thai New Year. The room is in a separate building up on the hill which you can overlook the whole Ao Nang beach from our balcony… What a breathtaking view that we’re waking up to every morning, highly recommend it. The hotel is only two minutes walk to the beach. This is a perfect location to look for restaurants, shopping, tours or just hanging out by the beach. Did I forget to mention about all the wonderful and friendly staff that are helping us out during the busy time. We can’t wait to go back there again.

Krabi Tipa resort is a beautiful hotel in Ao Nang 2 min walk to the beach. The hotel offer many room selections from 900 baht per night to 3, 000 baht per nigh. We stayed in an Ocean Suite Jacuzzi, it is high up on the Hill top for the most beautiful view over look Krabi… we highly recommend it.

A wonderful stay. We stayed here for our vacation and 9th anniversary. Perfect location, in the centre of Ao Nang, close to the beach. The room were very clean. Best of outstanding is the staffs, helpfulness, friendly with the smile. We would like to say thank you for a great service with quality and care.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever visited. I've been to many 5-star resorts around the world, and that's one type of experience. This is more authentic and consistent with environment. A+ location, beautiful pool, wide range of rooms similarly priced. But the staff is the standout — — genuinely caring, enthustic, wonderful people. A++

Great place to spend time at Ao Nang beach, secluded but still right at where the action is. The lobby looks beautiful in white colonial stile, we stayed in wellcrafted classic hardwood cottages, a delight to look at.

Spent a lovely Christmas here in one of the basic bungalows last year, which was great for budget travelling. Now more than happy that we booked an Deluxe room for Christmas 2018 and so happy to come back soon, really looking forward. Location is the best you can get in Ao nang. In the middle of everything but still very peaceful. The staff is helpful and friendly and the hotel area is well kept and beautiful.

Place is good but breakfast food is not that good, only few items in their breakfast menu. And yes Air conditioning in room is not cooling well. People are very helpfull.

The new part of the hotel is good, but the bungalows are a bit old and worn out. Also breakfast is boring and I would say average. Apart from that it is a very nice place near the beach and quite nice design.

Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet is beautiful and delicious each morning. We loved the family suite as there are 5 of us and it's difficult to find someplace where the kids could be with us but still maintain a bit of privacy.

Beautiful resort … pool side in the night is amazing as if u swimming under the skies and surrounded by woods. Totally lost in a different world… breakfast for veggies was not a good idea. But overall a must stay.

Good location. Room looks old could do with some sprucing up. Bed is uncomfortable. Breakfast lacks variety n could be more hygienic as could see flies and birds on the food area. Overall felt only the location is worth the money.

Great location and nice comfortable hotel.

This resort is very well located in Ao Nang, only 100m from beach and near main street. But for a 4 star resort its not very well maintained, we rent a bungalow for 1700 baht (per night) but when entering we could smell the mold, some dust across the room. Spoke with receptionist and she offered to clean the room again or change to deluxe room (+1000 baht per night), but since a clean up wouldn't take the mold away we choose to upgrade to deluxe room since we couldn't leave because we had already paid before arriving. The breakfast is ok, they make omelette if requested, have 3x choice of bread, butter and some cream, fruit, juice, water and coffee. The pool is also ok, we can see pile of tiles on the border and some loosen tiles inside pool. Overall was not satisfied because it was a bad quality/price ratio and for the price of deluxe room you can get better resort in Ao Nang.

Ideal for families with young children.
The only drawback is the breakfast… Little International (European).

I will definitely recommend this place of you want to stay near ao nong beach. It’s so close, in the middle of the beachside market and most of the beachside restaurants. Besides their are really nice and hospitable. Very accommodating on everything. The rooms are spacious, simple and very clean. They just look really nice and cozy. They have a pool and a restaurant and small elephant fountains.

Nice hotel quiet staff smiling and very nice at 100 m from the sea and restaurants I would recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever been to… staff highly unprofessional… rooms not well maintained. Amenities mostly out of order. Food is the only part lives up to the standard… please think before booking in tipa.

Good place to stay. There were no soaps Hand washes and bath-shower gels were there, which was good. Environment was good. Place was big.

Resort just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the pier, located in the heart of nature. It has different types of rooms, we have been in the category of luxe, which are individual wooden cabins, just perfect!

Spectacular this resort, we arrived and they did an upgrade to a bungalow, they are in a part of the hotel jungle type, elevated, super spacious and with all the amenities.
The breakfast, the pool and the spa are excellent too.

We have stayed here more than once. I would not say it is because of the staff or the food. BUT, it is close to everything while still having the feeling of staying in the middle of the jungle. Sort of. I love the place.

Loved this place. This resort is very near to Aao nang beach. Staff is very friendly and breakfast buffet has awesome options. Rooms are big near and clean. Room service is very good. Swimming pool is well maintained and easy to go to. They offer extra towels for pool. All the island tour lake tour and city tour agents are nearby.

Great service from welcoming to breakfast. Nice pool to relax, 4 min walk to the beach. The hotel room (try to get one by the pool side) was great with a huuuge bed and a nice shower). If you wanna get food outside go to your left on the main street rather than towards the beach simply because there is tons of restaurants for less. Enjoy!

Let me start off by saying this place offers a lot for your money. The staff is super friendly and will go a long way to keep you happy. Rooms are clean and tended to daily. Unfortunately it is crowded with big families and children so it tends to get noisy and we didn't like that. At one point we even had to switch rooms due to lively neighbours. Had to wear earplugs for breakfast and when lying by the pool. Pros: The location is great, close to everything. Staff is super friendly Cons: Noisy. Some of the rooms have "maintenance doors" in between so you can hear your neighbours talk at night. Breakfast was not up to par with a 4 star resort, often ran out of things due to big crowds. Overall it was a good experience and definately worth the money.

The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is courteous. The hotel has a great pool and you can enjoy beverages by the poolside. The view from the rooms are quite scenic with lots of lush greenery. While they have a massage parlor, it is outdoor (right next to the pool) and it only partially covered from curious passersby. I suggest that those who prefer privacy during a massage give this a miss. The breakfast comes free with the stay but is quite dull. Meat lovers will be disappointed — Chicken sausages, ham and eggs are the only non-veg dishes on the menu. The bar is poorly stocked, but they do have limited happy hour offers.

The resort look nice and beautiful for photographing. Clean environment. Great Location and easily find delicious food nearby.

The resort needs repairs. Wi-Fi range was limited did not receive signals in room. TV was not working properly. The channels were coming hazy. Safe was not functioning. Doors were not opening fully. In spite of complaints the problems were not solved by the management during three days of our stay.

They've been here a few days, not before the time, although they asked for it in the room, the mud, washing the floors with a towel that becomes and starts to jerk out of the side, all the old, since 2000, meters doesn't match the description, The internet was not working the first day, then the master came in, and the bed linens don't change, they just turn, we checked the tags, the appearance of the rooms is old for decades, the staff is bad, breakfast is a direct.

The bungalow is quite old. Not very clean. A shower is terrible-cracks on the walls, holes in the street, a polycarbonate ceiling. Considering you live practically in the woods, it seems like the bath is always crawling and rustleing. The room was very clean and very poor. The rest is the usual three.

Good value for the price. There is a free car parking.

Despite being in the center and 300m from the beach is in a kind of private park, very quiet. In contrast, the value for money is not that great.

Great location. Worth your money! The location is very nice. There are squirrels in the territory, monitor, and butterflies fly — beautiful in general and all green. The excursions from the hotel honestly didn't like messers people as a herd of sheep, and everything was not organized in any way. Breakfast was good, but the hotel is very nice and the Chinese are in love, so for breakfast, go first, and then eat nothing-they all szhirajut and leave the other places.

All ok n hotel is perfect. All staff is polite but only the gate guard a bit rude and not friendly at all.

Hotel whose front is attractive the rest is to be deplored, bad smell in the rooms, Wi — Fi does not exist in the bungalows, personal at the reception not professional at all and even hautin when you made comments on the above points. Your request are not taken into account. A peak at breakfast you won't even have the fresh juice just the brick. The price is very high for a disastrous performance. Good advice to flee. Many other hotels are available on site but be very vigilant Krabi Ao nang and its region are very touristy many scams and pitfalls.
