A beautiful hotel, lovely room, we have the pool access room which is great for that quick dip. Good food, dinner, breakfast and room service, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

They clean the rooms very poorly and the food is served very oddly. One soup, one appetizer, main course and dessert with one order for two people from one bowl. A different offer is in the travel agency and another on the spot.

Stayed here in November 2022. Whats not to like. staff was amazing especially Nanny she couldn't do enough for you. Reception staff and the lady who booked the tours. the rooms were fab. The chamber maids were brilliant our rooms were cleaned daily. breakfast was good. Never hungry. Brilliant location for the bars Street food and the beach. can't wait to go back in November.

Staying in the resort is comfortable and great. The resort is within walking distance to good food and shopping for wonderful items. Highly recommend the place to stay.

Ms Katie and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Very prompt when help us needed. Location a bit inner but the environment are quite n relaxing. Rooms are cosy n relaxing. Food are also delicious.

Close to the beach, lovely room had to pay 6k for an upgrade. breakfast the worst we have had in Thailand cold eggs and for some bizarre reason we were asked to put a face mask on to collect food. need to improve on your food then it will be a very good place, lets the hotel down so much.

We are staying at Krabi La Playa Resort now for the 4th time, they have been our first and only choice every time we visit Thailand for a vacation. The management and staff are of the best you will find anywhere. They are always friendly, willing to do anything and everything for you at any time of the day or night. The rooms are spacious, spotless, neat and clean. Their food that is served at the hotel is also of the best, with a manager that clearly runs a tight ship in the kitchen and dining area. They go out of their way to make any special occasion even more special, even if it is just a birthday you are celebrating. My grandson happened to fall I’ll now on our current visit and was admitted to hospital for 2 days, and one of their staff personally arrived at his hospital room with a basket full of fresh fruit for him. Their caring, empathy, and concern for their guests is of the highest priority for them. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to spend time in Krabi and you can be assured that you get everything and more that you pay for.

Great hotel. Slightly off the beaten track, down a side road but only a 2 minute walk to the strip, so best of both worlds. Very clean & staff can’t do enough for you. Great swimming pool.

What. A. Place! Amazing! As soon as we arrived we were spoilt! Everyone is super friendly and Staff are super hospitable. Hotel is super clean and it has all the things you need! Breakfast is lovely. And the timings are perfect. The room is really spacious and has all the amenities required for a two week stay from home. It has a gym, so it was just what I needed whilst away too! The pools are lovely and warm and the hotel was so quiet you basically had it to yourself. Covid procedures were really good. They made you feel at ease, but it also felt clean and well sanitised. I would highly recommend to all.

Without a doubt the best hotel in Ao Nang. Great rooms, really friendly and helpful staff also the biggest pool in town. We have been coming to this hotel since 2012, we have tried many other hotels in Ao Nang but always end up coming back here as nowhere else compares. Special mention to Katie the manageress and Mr Choo that works on reception who always go out of their way to make our trips very special.

Had a great experience staying here for 5 nights. Pon & the staff were very helpful & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 4 pools are very enjoyable & we had a pool access room which was awesome… loved it! Very good massages also which was a bonus.

Spacious room, nice pool, very friendly staff, love it!

The rooms were huge and well equipped including fridge, coffee machine, iron, robes and slippers. The beach bags with towels and beach mat were very handy. Excellent location near to lots of excellent restaurants and the pier to catch long tail boats to the nearby islands. An Nong Night market is only 5 mins walk for some cheap eats.

Very big and clean rooms. They offer massages there at the resort. Very friendly and they have baskets for laundry baskets for beach/towels.
The breakfast is great. Walking distance to many shops and the beach.

Great service and reception, welcoming and friendly, booked trough Agoda, close to main attractions and beach, big room with comfortable bed, everything clean and neat, they go the extra mile with even baskets for beach with towels and umbrellas for rainy days.

La Playa resort a hidden jewel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable walking distance from the shops and food stalls. I'd happily stay there again! GG South Africa.

If this is your first time to Krabi, this hotel will not disappoint you but it will also not amaze you. Service is great, staff are friendly to an extent. Beautiful swimming pool with many opportunities to take that instagrammable photo. One caveat is that if you're Chinese from SEA, the breakfast staff might not be too happy attending to you due to the amount of China — Chinese tourist messing up the place with their 'etiquette'. Unfortunate experience but the staff do try their best to put a smile on their faces.

Lovely exotic resort, beautiful large pools, yummy breaky, quiet and peaceful, only negative is the gym, very basic small room.

I stayed at Krabi la player for 10 nights I had a view over the pool. I stayed in a standard room which was pleasant the highlight of this hotel is is proximity ao Nang beach and it's 4 really deluxe swimming pools the staff are pretty nice too. If you walk out the massage exit the night markets are on your right and another beach is on your left if you walk out the front exit and go roughly straight for 500 m there is a o Beach the tourist centre of Krabi. You can hire tours from the hotel or hire boat taxis to the islands from both the beaches.

We went for our honeymoon and loved this hotel. The setting and rooms everything was beautiful and they gave us the corner suite which had private access to the pool. This was perfect for us to explore as a couple. The staff were very accommodating, they give good massages and their buffet breakfast is absolutely amazing!

Really close to the streets where there's bars, restaurants and shops. Food is okey, breakfast is quite minimal. Two different pool areas and emerald pool my personal favourite as there's usually not that many people.

Amazing hotel in krabi. The staff are very friendly and helpful almost all of them speak English (which made it easy for us) breakfast is good quality, fresh and there is loads of seating. You are off the main road so it's not loud at night but you can get to krabi main strip of road in about 8 to 10 minutes slow walk. The hotel pools are very nice and are cleaned night and early morning. They have a free to use pool table which is great for when there is a burst of rain or when you are waiting for a coach or taxi to take you on your day trip (which the hotel can arrange for you). The rooms are generally clean and in good condition with air-conditioning.

I want to start by saying that the only thing I was happy with about this hotel is the staff, it was do helpful and kind. Almost every thing else was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel, awful shower head that splashed all over the shower, torn towels, mold smell in the room, spider web on the chairs in the balcony, and the fitness center was so bad, no banch, no towels, and old machines, not even a mirror…

Very good reception and guest service. Breakfast was fantastic classical american fusion breakfast! Everyone was friendly and nice.

It is a great hotel to spend a holiday, the pool, the bar, the room, everything great.

Stayed here for 3 nights, room 8301, room was good, but the problem is they don’t care about you check-out times or extending by bit, checked-in 2 days back at 2Pm and they ask to checkout at 12PM when flight is at evening 7PM, they shud allow us to occupy room till 2PM n they say they need to prepare the room for other person who is gonna checkin at 2Pm, which is their problem. Customer satisfaction n convenience shud be more important than anything else. Hate the way they made us sit at reception for soo long.

Very quiet place, not a party place if that’s what you want. Everything was very clea, however the rooms we stayed in had a very strong weird smell. Bearable but gave me multiple headaches. The location is great for island hoping however it hasn’t got many activities available. The room service food was very bland and highly suggest no one get it and eat street food. Highly priced food for inadequate taste. The positives about this place is majority staff is nice however during lunch at the restaurant we were attempted to be scammed by a waitress by paying more. There was a surcharge which was fair enough but she was convinced that the meal was more expensive. I calculated the price on my phone and even showed it to her but she got demanding and went to get the menu. Turns out I was right and she didn’t even apologise.

Very nice resort. They provide all basic amenities for beach visit. Very nice swimming pool, gym, bar, restaurant and near to Nopatparwa beach. They provide ear buds, shower cap too. Not too fat from Ao nang beach. There are 2-3 7eleven stores in close vicinity. Recommend to couples (and singles too).

The finishes of the rooms are updated while rough around the edges. The general appearance is clean. The dinner and breakfasts are ample amounts and very fine quality of cooking. I'd suggest they update their Wi-Fi antennas to use different channels to avoid some connectivity issues. I'd also recommend that the hotel be forthcoming about their renovations so travelers can make informed decisions… Overall the property is going to be great. It offers wonderful views and ample amenities.

Hotel never informed of construction and pool closures. Rude check in staff. Do not stay here. Very unhappy about the chaos and premium cost of this property and it's totally messed up. Noise till late hours of the night while they reconstruct the pool. Wi-Fi in rooms is poor to non existent.

Beautiful hotel tucked down a small lane, possibly the best room I've ever stayed in, very modern and with everything you could ask for (large tv, sky movies, sound bar, kettle & coffee purgle, good lighting, air con & bug screens). Staff were always extremely courteous, never let you pass without saying hello. Restaurant was also good, breakfast had a large selection buffet that changed a little each day. Would easily stay here again.

Very good clean hotel with small breakfast with not much choice but not bad. The staff at the restaurant really very friendly with my little brother who tries to pronounce his name every time they see it. The room has a half-fee mini bar. Close to the restaurants and the beach Hotel well placed. The pools are at the top and indoor gym.
The hotel's spa offers free try massage is offered to hotel guests.

Excellent efficiency in terms of services. resort is very well maintained. Staffs are also very friendly and always ready to help which makes everything very respectable. Also, for the ones who can't leave the Internet, the Wi-Fi is very strong here. i would very much recommend this resort as it satisfies my needs.

In an alley, but go very close to the beach, eat around convenience, out of turning on the left there is a great deal of 711, rooms are large, have a balcony. Hotel has a small garden, very nice, pool was good.

Nice resort with large pool and pool access rooms (Pool Access A facing the main pool). Location less than 5 minutes walk from the beach.

The hotel is nice and the staff is great. They have a good breakfast. This period (January 2016) it is a construction site near the hotel and you cannot sleep too much in the morning. But you don't need, because you have a lot of boat trips to do every morning.
