I been This place is absolute paradise. If you want a place which is quiet, peaceful, and has everything you need with outstanding welcoming staff, this is the place to be. The resort is located between 2 beautiful beaches. The rooms are clean and comfortable right next to the pool so I am in the water in only a few steps. you can snorkel right off the beach and find a wonderful underwater world there, Whatever everything was perfect 10/10, I hope if I can back again, absolutely the best resorts in koh tao. Thank you for everything see you next time.

Resort located on Sai Daeng beach. Good service, great breakfast, great location although a bit isolated. You have to move by scooter or moped.

One of the best spot in koh tao.

Spent 4 days here while exploring Koh Tao. The room was comfortable, nice views, some great snorkelling, and able to rent a scooter from there to get around the island easily. It did feel like it was in need of a refresh/minor renovation in places, and still getting back to full operation (which is understandable with likely fewer customers for a couple of years). But overall a good stay.

Staff are fantastic! The seaview rooms are amazing! My room was partially blocked with trees, so they trimmed them! Amazing service! Be aware if you have mobility issues it might not be for you as there are MANY steps!

Good view, lovely staff, very relaxing. You can stay in the resort all day because there are many activities in the resort and there are many places waiting for you to take photos as memories.

A stunning resort nestled on the cliffs of south west Koh Tao. The rooms are well presented with everything you need. Our room had incredible views out to sea with a nice balcony perfect to watch the sunset. ALL the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much of an issue. The food and beverages are well priced and even when it’s raining staff are more than happy to provide room service. This resort is quite hilly with quite a few steps to the beach. Be prepared for some exercise. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. The free kayak use is a nice touch with great snorkelling around the island. Thank you, we will be back!

Very nice place and grate view, the owner so kind and staff veey friendly.

I stayed there 2 nights, Eagle Nest Pool Villa and Honey Moon Villa. There are private roof top terraces and Shark Rock is seen from the pools of both villas. The villa and its sea view restaurant staff are nice.

We went there for our Honeymoon Trip and we had a very delightful experience for both beautiful resort and the customer services. The resort has breathtaking scenery from ocean view room & very private. Excellent for people who loves peaceful & romantic environment. Surprisingly many staffs from Sai Daeng Resort were same nationality as us ;Myanmar & each of them warmly welcome us & ready to help anytime.
Especially Wan Chai from the restaurant, Cherry and Myanmar staffs from pool bar and van driver and pickers.
Thank you so much for beautiful memory for our Honeymoon besides we are sure to come again in future.

Great location, very kind staff, free kayak, life vest and snorkeling mask for guests. The place is on a hill so be aware there are step stairs to move around. We had a cottage on the beach and loved it.

5 stars resort! It was an amazing experience to stay at sai Daeng resorts. They picked us up from the pier, they have so nice staff and the room was super clean with a beautiful view from sai Daeng beach. We love it the atmosphere around the resort, a mix of luxury with beach vibes. Its the perfect combination for Koh tao Island. I extremely recommend this resort for couples and families! It’s amazing and you won’t regret.

I spent five days at the Sai Daeng Resort and it was amazing. First off, the beaches are beautiful and you even have access to two beaches and it is the perfect spot for snorkeling, I saw beautiful fish :) You get snorkeling gear there and you can also do other water sport there. The staff was super nice and the food in the restaurant was really good, too. My room was incredible, I had a beach view room and loved this view. My room was big, super clean, big shower, and a comfy kingsize bed, loved it! I will always love to come back, had such a good time there! Perfect for relaxing :)

We lived in Thailand in more than 20 Hotels or Resorts. Not all were good, but in many, we felt comfortable. The Sai Daeng Resort on Koh Tao as t as a ddle but, at a stroke, everything. Hearted Bungalows that integrate great in the landscape. Very clean and well maintained — the Resort is only two years old! The Restaurant is located directly on the sea and the best Breakfast we had so far. It is not just the usual fruits, but also more specialized varieties. In addition to Chinese steam buns, there are also Dim Sum and Thai desserts such as Khanom Krok. Only a variety of Thai dishes, there is not in the morning. The Resort is located on a headland and has access to one of the best snorkeling sites on Koh Tao — every day, countless ships and anchors. So many fish, I have never seen directly in the shore, except in the Maldives. The staff is very helpful. In many Resorts on Koh Tao Burmese, which is neither English, nor speak Thai. This is not the case here. The owner is Thai and very personable. We will definitely be back here.

Very comfortable staying at Sai Daeng. Rooms are gorgeous. Lovely swimming pool. Extras are really expensive and the fridge in the room is not cold enough. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

We would recommend the motorbike, the roads are pretty good and with many hills on the island, the motorbike is just a must to explore it. On the beach below, they offer free rental of the kayak, snorkeling gear, life vest, towels, sunbed etc. If you are looking for quite a place with nice beach and beautiful are with a gorgeous view… This is it!

This has been a wonderful place to stay! The staff are amazing (especially Cherry)! They are friendly, caring, and happy. This is a great place especially for couples because it is a quiet part of the island but still only 10 minutes to the busier part of the island.

This place is amazing. Picked us up from the ferry terminal, reception very welcoming and good English! The accommodation was great, very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone, traditional Thai/English/continental. They offer free hire of snorkels and kayaks which is great at there is lots to see. They run a shuttle service and return into town, several times a day, plus they will drop you back at the ferry for whatever time you have booked. We hired a moped locally at 300B a day well worth it as we could explore the rest of the island too.

Pleasant and secluded resort, good accommodation, good staff, food a bit pricey but acceptable. Great pool, small but very clean beach. A lot of climbing up and down, but that's just the setting.

Great location on the beach with all the comforts but with the traditional Thai simplicity.
Clean modern pools. Very friendly staff.
Practically a paradise surrounded by greenery close to the blue at affordable prices.
A maze of alleys detangles between the rooms, all independent that as houses thanks to the particular attention to the environmental impact have been built respecting the colors of the local stones.
The marvellous and terraced pools are of salt water and almost nothing chlorinated, they are confronted with the blue of the sea.
Expensive but quality restaurant.
Breakfast included in our package I would say at the height of the property. Nice continental and Asian buffet from simple but thorough management.

They have great staff and great location, but the accommodations are simply bad especially for the price and the competition around. Do yourself a favor and skip to the next. The room B10 was just bad. You'd take a shower and the whole bathroomi floor would fill up, also Ac would randomly stop and you. Have to get someone who work there to reset the breakers. That's if it happens during their staff time if not you'll just cook in your room and go nuts.

Beautiful resort and facilities. The only issue was some sewer gases coming up from the drain in the shower. But the beach and water are lovely. There's a dive shop right on the beach next door to the resort as well.

Very good for snorkeling. Swim near the rocks to see small black tip reef sharks. Small sandy beach, some trees giving shadow. Nice restaurant with very clean restrooms. You need to go there with motorbike or Jeep.

Best place I have been to in Koh Tao! Amazing room, with fantastic view, not to mention the perfect overall service and the pretty and quiet beach (with sharks and nice fishes that you can see by snorkeling nearby! )! Shark island is also really close (you can access it by kayak or with the diving team that will take you from the beach)!

The owner is a dual citizenship of both American and Thai. The location is wonderful. The room is clean and comfy. Do you want sea view or garden view. Majority of the servers are very nice, but receptionists sometimes seem to be overwhelmed. The sea view or the garden view with Mr. Bennet can never be missed in my life. Last, I appreciate God’s grace. See you again, Koh Tao. Love from Germany and America.

Definitely worth the money. Perfect staff. Great quiet and beautiful place. For all the time I can, as a disadvantage, to mention the not very good work of the Internet. Everything else well just very well organized.

This trip was so awesome and we were truly amazed by the turnout. The staff was so nice and helpful. They have very good service mind. Saidang resort made this such a beautiful trip. Room and decorations were perfectly beautiful.

Most beautiful resort we've ever been to! Stunnung view from every hut/apartment, quiet beach with free snorkeling option and free kajaks, siperfriendly and helpful staff. Restaurant is pricey, but very good! We really enjoyed our stay here and we're sad when we had to leave.

, nice beach, fresh air and breathtaking view from our room. For the room, everything is so convenient. Besides, food is delicious.

We extended our stay at Sai Daeng. Gorgeous resort, beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Best snorkeling on the island. Frequent free shuttles into town. The restaurant is really good, but Western prices. Wish we had a bit more access to 100 baht pad Thai, and cheap drinks, but besides that we just marveled at the beauty the whole time. Some people complain that there are bugs, wildlife, lots of steps, etc, but I hope Sai Daeng Resort keeps the place as it is — — a gorgeous place infused with nature!

We stayed here five nights in July 17. And there's no question about the resort and the location as such: it's great. We had a beach front room. Stunning view, like a tropical paradise. But, sigh, the staff obviously lacks basic training for a hotel resort (which sometimes resulted in slapstick like situations). The highlights were a sandy doormat that was knocked clean over the guest's shoes at the breakfast, or employees who were stepping onto the guest's shoes when carrying luggage because they didn't pay attention. Also Wi-Fi only worked only sporadically, even though we told them that it would be important for us. Oh, and there's bad smell from the sewer in the bathroom, which nobody seems to bother. To summarise, it IS a great resort, but I would recommend to the management that they increase staff qualification.

Sai Daeng is a very special place that I plan on visiting again. Every aspect of our trip was great, from the helpful staff, the clean comfortable room, the private beach, the delicious food, the yummy cocktails, and of course the breathtaking setting. I visited with a group of friends and this resort had something for everyone: 2 awesome snorkeling spots right at the resort (we saw a black-tipped reef shark! ), delicious food from the restaurant with both traditional Thai and American dishes, a really friendly and helpful staff, CLEAN comfortable rooms with very comfortable beds and modern air conditioning, and each villa has its own unique view of the water. The resort was happy to help us book a SCUBA diving day trip too. The rooms feel very private even though most villas are just a few steps away from another. The resort is designed around the landscape, so it feels very green as a lot of the walking paths are built around beautiful trees and flowering plants. The pool bar is very convenient and the beach bar makes the best cocktails! My only complaint was the Wi-Fi in my room was quite spotty, however I was able to go to the restaurant where the Wi-Fi was much more dependable. The other guests were friendly, we interacted at breakfast, and I even met the owners of the resort, Sylvia and Soon who were so welcoming and hospitable! Overall we had a wonderful experience and would like to come back next time we explore Thailand!

I'm reviewing the beach, not the resort! This beach is beautiful with crystal water. Great for snorkeling! And no entrance fee, even though at the fork, one must go left downhill to the resort. Good access but steep, go slowly.
