Review of Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort 4*

My wife and I recently returned home after a Friday — Monday stay at Phu Chaisai. I’ll first start with the customer service. They were absolutely wonderful. It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and I asked them to arrange some flowers and I would pay for them; they would absolutely stunning Tiger Lily flower. My wife LOVED them. They also surprised her with a small birthday cake at dinner and the staff sang happy birthday to her. The cake was really good too! Our initial room had some issues. We booked the white bamboo pool cottage. The views from outside are BEAUTIFUL. 2 days prior to us arriving there was a mudslide on the property right behind this room. I think it got into the piping as the big soaking tub water would turn brownish. We had to run through a few cycles. Also the aircon had a strange smell. This all sounds bad, BUT the staff were SUPER accommodating. They came to our room with in moments of us notifying them to check things out. They brought us 2 portable aircons for the room and those worked great. They discounted our room rate 50% for the night and offered to change our rooms to anything that was available. They staff was super apologetic for everything. We chose the boutique cottage because it has the big outdoor tub. I can not stress enough how much we LOVED this room. It’s super spacious, beautiful views and not a single issue. It does not have a fridge so keep that in mind and you can hear people talking as they walk past the room. But again, those are minor things. The room was so clean, the bed was comfortable and it make the rest of our stay super enjoyable. We booked massages, those were both really good. We had food 2 times at the restaurant there, both times were good. Breakfast there is just okay. Don’t expect much if you are hoping for a big spread. Luckily 7/11 is just a few minutes down the road. Overall, great stay. Great customer service. Very relaxing. We would definitely come back and stay. Book the boutique cottage!
