My family stayed at Ban Sbai Village Resort and Spa at the first time. Good breakfast, the beautiful garden. Good weather. Good service. Very beautiful with Thai style room. Thai smile staff. Very impression for everything here. Thank you to the owner.

I stayed here with three of my friends while in Chiang Mai. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely stay. The rooms were gorgeous with giant windows looking out onto the grounds, covered in plumeria trees. The pool was clean and beautiful with plumeria flowers drifting through the air. The food was DELICIOUS and they offered us very easy access to tuk tuks and scooters to get around Chiang Mai. Loved every bit of this place, especially the wonderful friendly staff.

This is a beautiful, serene and peaceful place to vacation. It feels like a piece of heaven in the middle of a jungle paradise. Nature, culture and beauty are bountiful. From the plants to the sound of exotic birds, frogs, and fish jumping out of the lily pond, and a fairly extensive menu that caters to a wide range of taste buds. The food is out of this world and bursting with flavor. And they seem to have no problem working with difficult or restrictive diets. Vegan food is a specialty of theirs. The staff is wonderful and the owner is such a lovely and kind woman. Both the owner and receptions speak very good English and are happy to assist guests with things that may be difficult for non Thai speakers, such as calling a taxi, making you an appointment, or making other phone calls to help aid in your daily adventures. Lots of shopping areas nearby and temples, elephants, and other sites to see are also not far. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! You'll never want to leave.

You can be asured of a warm welcome at Ban Sabai, with its friendly and helpful staff. Attractively set round its swimming pool, with beautiful mature trees. A quiet location — it is some way out of the centre of Chiang Mai. So, very restful, but you would probably need your own transport. Our room was very comfortable. Food good, though the bread at breakfast could have been fresher.

This is a beautiful and atmospheric spa resort at a perfect location for a quiet and peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I stayed for 3 nights for a yoga / spa retreat and this is the place to be if you are looking for a place out of town to slow things down a bit as it is in the middle of a quiet estate, almost 6km from town. The daily private yoga sessions I booked were great and were customised to individual level of experience. They were held in a lovely pavilion set amidst a garden pond. Aside from the yoga, spa sessions as well as a cooking class, I also took a walk around the village estate to visit the Elephant parade House which has a gallery of painted elephant statues and a elephant painting workshop. There is still the convenience of a shuttle one can catch in the late afternoon/ evening to the night bazaar areas if you must go to town. Otherwise, it was easy to catch a grab taxi to and fro city for less than 100 baht. Excellent service from the lovely staff — from the front desk to the spa therapists I had for all days. They were all so sweet and accommodating to my needs. Bee and ‘L were especially hospitable and it was great to see them everyday! Would love to be back again someday!

Very friendly receptionist. But the place is far from peacefull anymore. Since the expansion of Chiang Mai Airport planes fly over that give a lot of noise.

We stayed in Ban Sabai Spa Village Boutique Resort the third time and enjoyed the days relaxing days. The spacious rooms, the beautiful garden with the pool, the very friendly and helpful service and the nice restaurant with great food — all that belongs to the best we have experienced during our travel stops in Southeast Asia. Ban Sabai is some kilometers outside of the center of Chiang Mai but no problem to reach the town by taxi (very cheap), by motorbike or by bicycle.

A great place to stay and chill. Beautiful pool and garden. The spa is also great. When you don't want to stay in busy downtown, this is your place.

Ban Sabai was such a wonderful experience. We stayed one night but were able to make the most of it. I highly recommend the massages and the cooking class — both of which were top notch. The staff is so incredible, we truly felt like family. I would recommend Ban Sabai to everyone looking for a spa retreat in one of the most beautiful areas of Thailand.

We stayed with Ban Sabai in June 2016. We spent one night here and the rest of our time at a hotel downtown. The view from our room was beautiful! We sat by the pool, ate at the restaurant, and got massages in the morning. The pool was very relaxing (there were only two other people staying at the same time as us), the food was fresh and delicious, and the massages were amazing! Customer service was also great. It wasn't the fanciest hotel we've ever stayed at, but was a great value for the reasonable cost. We wished we would have stayed two nights as this was probably the most relaxing part of our trip to Chiang Mai. The only thing I think could have been improved was more frequent pool cleanings. There were lots of bugs and debris in the pool. Part of this is due to the fact that there are such lush gardens around, so I say the trade off is worth it!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay there. I love the neighborhood, the staff was exemplary, the grounds are so pretty… I think anyone would have a hard time not being happy there.

A little bit out of town but quiet and peaceful environment with excellent service. Full range of spa treatments and a nice selection of rooms. You can also just go there for the day and enjoy the pool, take a cooking class, enjoy the spa and finish off with a romantic candle light dinner in the evening.

A hidden place to stay in chiang mai. A place I can enjoy an atmosphere of nature and non-toxic. Not only that, the room was very comfortable and the service was really excellent. A healthy breakfast is also a must try! I would say that It was definitely worth staying!
