Pathetic service, no help extended even for a kid. We roamed around for an hour around their property to look for vegetarian food for my kid, then got turned away from their so called main restaurant oasis, because “we had come from The pool”! Concierge was clueless and equally unhelpful. What a shame! So disappointing!

It’s clean, convenient and beautiful. It has several different restaurants within the resort and provides baby sitting service as well as Thai massage. Staff are very nice as well.

Huge property great breakfast spread we got some Indian food too. The water lazy river around the property is also very cool rooms are big and good. They served us some good vegetarian food in room service which we really enjoyed overall a must stay place.

Fantastic accommodation and pool area. Ideal for families with children. Restaurants in the hotel are expensive, though food is good. Just outside the hotel is a corner shop, and there are many restaurants 5-10 minutes away. Breakfast is great. So much choice and all types of food — it's just very busy, so make sure you go early (or late).

Staying at Centara was an amazing experience! From the Service, to the location, to the water Park, pool, rooms everything was excellent! The managers used to check on daily whether our stay was comfortable! My kid thoroughly enjoyed here! Just a small drawback, we received an old fermented butter in our Room service, but they actioned immediately! Other than that, I would highly recommend this Hotel! The perfect location, the perfect view!

I have been there several times (during winter vacations), that hotel was and remains great. I thought this is a perfect paradise (All Included style) : there is a swimming pool, the “lazy” river with some sort of cave, various restaurants, and places to visit, their own territory of sea, and of course the rooms are great. You should visit it, and I will revisit it in a couple of years.

I came on holiday in Sentara Grand Guardian for the eighth time. It's just great. This year was greeted with compliments from the hotel. It's so nice!

What a fantastic hotel! From the decor, to the cleanliness, to the amenities and the friendliness of the staff, you will be hard pressed to find fault with this place. From the grand entrance way to the rooms themselves, it is all very modern and beautifully decorated. Our room was large with a big balcony overlooking the sea and the resort itself, which is huge, I might add. There is a lovely swimming pool and lazy river and a few little slides to keep the kids entertained. The hotel sits right on the beach where specially designated swimming areas and water sports are readily available. I was here on business and the staff could not do enough for me, although the complex is large, you will never be far from someone who will be only too happy to go out of their way to assist you. Excellent gym facilities that would rival any local fitness club in your home town, I would wager. The only reason I'm giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is because breakfast times are extremely crowded, in a complex this size they should consider implementing set dining times so as to avoid this manic rush in the mornings. Other than that, if you're going to Pattaya, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else, especially if you have a young family. Many thanks to the staff and the management, I will certainly return!

Wonderful water park, nice atmosphere, greenery garden and comfortable rooms. The pool staff members were quite nice and efficient. However, buffet breakfast is a bit bland. There should be some improvements in the taste and service, especially regarding clearing the tables and guiding guests to proper tables. The waitresses looked friendly and more hard-working with the manager's presence.

Very big hotel with pretty helpful stuff. Our room was amazing with excellent view of the sunset just from the balcony. But not everything worked good in the bathroom. The water in the morning was very hot.

Attended a destination wedding in this resort. They have all the rooms sea facing and very good beach. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom in the standard room was small in size.

Staying left here is very comfortable, each room can be Wanghai, the hotel also has a water park, suitable for parents to play.

Fantastic service and price. The hotel shuttle takes you to the busy strip so being distance away from central location isn't an issue unless you plan on staying out late. There are a lot of transportation tools available but please note UBER IS ILLEGAL in Thailand. My friends and I were caught by tourist police, no penalty for us but the Uber driver was penalized and license suspended for 2 months according to Google research. What I love about this resort the most is probably its breakfast and its outdoor swimming facility. It is definitely more family oriented since there are a lot of water slides here and there and the tropical forest theme is definitely an attraction. The portion of the beach that belongs to the hotel was average, not pure sandy beach and the water in Pattaya isn't that clean at all. If you are thinking of booking this hotel then make sure you book the room facing the ocean! You'll get the moonlight and the reflection off the ocean surface, especially past 10 PM when they shut off the lights to outdoor pool.

It's really an awesome place for families! We are only here for two days but I can already give it 5 stars! We had an amazing day yesterday with pool, slides, rafting and waterfalls and we were tired after the whole afternoon in the water. Today we started with the kids zone for our son and with a spa treatment for us and we all three enjoyed it a lot and had a great morning followed by another great afternoon in the super big pool area. There is also direct access to the beach and an area for kids to play with water fountains and the restaurants we have been to offered very nice food for okay hotel prices. We will come again if we have a chance! Absolutely recommended for families!

Such a beautiful resort style hotel. As soon as you walk through the entrance you feel like you are at a 5 star resort. They went above and beyond to make the grounds feel like you are in the jungle. There is a giant pool with swim up bar, lazy river and slides. There were lots of families but I just came with my husband and we had a great time. Every room has a wonderful Ocean View and the north building also will overlook the pool which is lit up at night.

Ugly building, bland food, big soulless place with poor hygiene around pool, sunchairs, cutlery in the restaurants, and places where you where supposed to sit. In many places really dirty and helped as well by parents letting their children while eating, climbing with shoes on the furniture and fabric to sit on, making it utterly disgusting in places with food and drinks smeared all over…

Absolutely top class, a total fun loving place for the family, the 5 stars say it all. A must place to live in when in Pattaya, away from the hustle bustle of the south bay shore. U don't need to leave the premises unless u wanna grab a local delight or European cuisine or an Arabic or Russian delight. A must.

Lovely Hotel on Wongamat beach in Pattaya. Taxis are located next to the hotel. Or you can walk to the street with tuk-pomace-it's not very far. To the main shopping center Pattaya to drive 10 minutes. The beach in front of the hotel is cleaned and exposed sunbeds for hotel guests. The service in the hotel itself is on a good level. Great Spa! The hotel has a mini-market and a massage parlour. Come pickups with fruit and makashnicy. But the choice of inexpensive, but delicious cafes right next to the hotel is very small.

Itz one of the most amazing and exciting resort I have ever been in. From the day I check-in till check-out had an amazing experience out here. The staff was too friendly and there to help at any moment. Every room is faced towards sea and the view is great. They have so many activities in the pool and there are lot of place for enough people. They too have a private beach. The securities are there for any help. Its great for couples as well for family and the resort is child friendly. Rooms were neat and clean. Morning buffet breakfast was one of the best and offer good and healthy food options. Overall the the landscape is great and can spend leisure time out here in beside pool and walkways.

Hotel has a super outdoor area, with large pool and lots of slides. Unfortunately the rooms are not clean, mold in the shower, the ceiling has holes, dirty windows and hair from the predecessor. The room service does not wash for more than 2 minutes. A lot of Russian as well as Chinese visitors, who are not exactly very friendly or very respectful. A lot of it is hard for us to sleep at night, as the air conditioning is very noisy and some guests also party it on the balcony. We were expecting much more from the hotel, especially cleanliness. Previously we stayed in 3 to 4 star hotel in Pattaya and felt this to be quiet as well as much cleaner. The Duschamaturen were not even cleaned before and the 16 nights! The outdoor area does not make the hotel even higher quality.

Most are good. Great breakfast, amazing swimming pool, and the other facilities. But the design of showering-tub is idiot. When I take a shower, I have to avoid the water flowing out from the tub. So guest cannot enjoy the showing.

The location is great, but we don't like it. Half the staff are not even hello. Breakfast was good. Well, the most important thing is we stole the phone from the room while we were at the beach. We went to the hotel staff, including the Russian managers, but there was no fuss. Anyway, I didn't care. Loved this hotel. Had an amazing family holiday. Brought the kids and felt really safe and secure. Beach lovely. Didn't eat in the main restaurant other than breakfast and pool side bar as much better value to go out and explor local cuisine for a fraction of the cost. Will definitely stay again. Kids loved the wave pool around the complex and chilling out in the games room.

We stayed at this Resort for 5 nights — we decided to go for a swim in the pool. The security guard asked for our Mirage card to show we were staying there, we were swimming so couldn't possibly be carrying this at the same time. He pulled me out of the pool and made me pay 1000baht x 4 persons. The people who run this place are corrupt, the security company is very rude also the staff were no help as most cannot speak proper English — which is odd because this is marketed for tourists who most don't speak any Thai. Stay somewhere else in pattaya — avoid like the plague. Also the rooms were unclean and most the food was overpriced and had no taste. avoid.

Great family resort and away from the red light district of Pattaya. You can catch the shuttle bus (or taxi) for 20-300 baht to go down town (Central Festival). Many pools including a infinity pool, lazy river and slides. Great gym with treadmills if you want to work out. Children room for young children. Spa too.

I have reviewed this hotel today with Trip Advisor. This is what I wrote: “Mid-stay Review” 4 of 5 stars Pending review Be prepared for the vastness of the place. It is big and airy. The entrance way is welcoming, and the greetings were cheerful. Lost World theme. Check-in — pleasant enough, Complimentary drink vouchers offered. Never got round to using them. Not sure about their expiry! Ocean View room is a must. Expansive views so learn to use the 'panoramic mode' in your camera or cell phone. Room is smaller than I expected, lacks an iron, but adequate save for: 1. The lack of running water in the toilet! Not too hygienic as post-business, one has to trek to the basin outside, to wash up, possibly contaminating the door handles, etc. Good idea to bring a hand sanitizer to keep within the toilet. The hotel could provide one — cheaper than installing a wash basin! 2. The shower area separated from the bedroom by a curtain is dodgy if you are conservative and not in the presence of a person or persons who like to see you, 'starkers'! 3. The mirror and wash basin are neighbours and not in line. So shaving is an aerobic activity. Not too inconvenient though — right hand crosses over, rinses, scrapes away, scrapes more, crosses over, obliques worked, rinse razor, cross over to complete the oblique workout, scraping resumes or, one could try the switch of hands. It is not that bad; I am nasty! Super fittings and the decor is awesome in the rooms and common areas.

Great hotel and location for families with kids that want/need to stay somewhat away from the famous Beach Road and all the madness but within a short taxi ride. The water park is great fun, one could spend all day in there. There is a somewhat private beach access that's part of the hotel's property which is much safer than those that can be accessed along beach road due to much less boat traffic, wakes, etc. A few small vendors are around selling local snacks, coconut juice, souvenirs, etc. And rentals for water sports activities (kayaking, sailing, boat ride, tube ride, etc. ) are available through them as well. The beach is warm and calm (even in mid December) and great for swimming and playing around in but not good for snorkeling at all. For crystal clear water and beautiful marine life viewing and snorkeling, rent a boat and go to the island (can be seen from the beach) and pick a spot with rocky shoreline where marine life is more abundant and active. They're best viewed in around 3 to 10 feet of water. For more adventurous people or those who can free dive, 15-30 feet depth will offer more thrill. Overall, for the money we paid (around $120/night for family of 4) we really enjoyed our stay there.

After this I don't want to go anywhere else. Here all for body and soul. While the beach is dirty everywhere.
