Nice location, a bit hard to find, but has a breath taking view. Though, the price and availability are a whole different story.

Very lovely hotel located just beside Chao Phraya River and has a balcony in your room with Chao Phraya and Bangkok skyline view. There is a boat terminal nearby if you want to go to Grand Palace or Wat Arun, this public transport is very recommended. It's quite hard to find restaurant here, especially halal food for muslims, but there is 7-eleven just in waking distance.

A nice hotel located next to the river. The food is good, good view at night. Everyone works there are friendly. Near to 7/11. Near to siriraj campus. Nice experience for having stayed here. Not all hotel staffs can speak English. We didnt get any toothbrush on the first day we got there, so need to tell them we were exist to get them on the second day. Lucky I brought mine from home. Lol. You can see a beautiful view from the lobby specially at night. Overall its all good.

Visit for a seminar / food is fair for the package / seminar room is ok / hotel location is good next to the Chaophaya River but a little bit hard to get in the Streel.

This hotel near chaopraya river, nice room, but u can't get Wi-Fi in the room except pay for the access, so its'n free Wi-Fi for guest.

Ate really well and with really assorted choice of everything. Wifi available.

Great room upon arrival, VERY friendly staff and helpful. We paid roughly 2, 500 baht for one night in the room in the photos; huge, clean, plenty of water and great views. There was no hot or warm water during our stay and we ordered room service for lunch. Upon delivering food I asked the kind girl that dropped our huge tray of food off, with cash in my hand, if I pay now or if she can charge the card used for the room. She pointed at the receipt and said 'sign' so I signed it and believed that the card used to purchase the room was charged, great. We checked out with a guy that said we were fine to go the next morning and left the country. Upon arriving in Hong Kong we begun to get strange emails from an apparent hotel staff member (not the hotel) saying we need to pay for our food we ordered and sent us a photo of the bill and our credit card information. They reported they could not charge our card for anything but the room and demanded we transfer money to some account. After replying that would not be happening and to only charge our card, the staff member said that they would just let the hotel contact us then. A few hours later we get an email from a seemingly legitimate email address that could be the hotel, but same situation. We need to transfer money, no credit cards. Weird. So we call the hotel and get tranafered three times before hanging up because no one could figure our situation out.

Lovely hotel friendly service good food great view from balcony room on the river yes TV few Brit channels but you must want to do more than watch TV in Bangkok brilliant city go see and do taxi’s very reasonable street food is a plenty and great shopping and markets by the ton hotel has swimming and a gym music bar a beautiful terrace for dining by the river romantic at night friendly atmosphere rooms are comfortable and spacious with good quality furniture good shower have stayed here 3 times now great.

Staff is very polite, our room still had used towels inside closets housekeeping not so good, but overall it's a beautiful view of river when the weather permits.

Always stayed here over the years visiting Bangkok. Comfortable place with very helpful staff and very convenient for river bus services — pier 16. Excellent international buffet breakfast and the best Tom Yum Ghia soup I have tasted with room service if required. Wonderful river views and outside terrace eating area.

Delicious food! We went here for lunch with our tour and I was really impressed by the food! Tons of great flavors, many choices and great setting. I was impressed!

Very comfortable accommodation. Similar to Western style hotels. The Wi-Fi is free but can be unreliable. The staff is very friendly and generally understand English well. Would recommend to newer travellers.

I first stayed in this hotel more than twenty years ago, and in the style of "The Grand Budapst Hotel" it is now well past its prime. Twenty years ago it catered for the ultra-chic international travellers, Europeans and Americans, however, sadly, today, it is the accommodation provided to huge tour groups of Chinese package holidayers, and the inclusion of a Karioke bar where the beautiful, elegant foyer used to be is the final nail in the coffin for any hope of this hotel regaining its former glory. Having said that, the rooms are still lovely, very large and well appointed, the views of the river just as spectacular, and the hotel does offer very good value for money. Haggle for a corner room facing the river.

First d positive things; d hotel is. Clean and d rooms are large. It has a great view over Bangkok if you have a room on the right side. Now the negative things; the staff are like ghost. They don't greet, don't talk, if you ask them if they could do something like refilling water and shower gel it's not getting done. Breakfast has actually a great variety but at 9.30 all is cold and d staff is starting to clear the buffet. When you ask for a Cappuccino you're getting a very rude reply that it is not included in the buffet (im willing to pay additionally) but nothing happened. Check out is no-existing just an "Ok" from a trainee. When asking for a bill I was told to ask agoda where I made my booking. Never heard that before… If you just stay for a night and want a great view over Bangkok then this hotel is it. If you looking for service and quality then for sure not…

Very good back view. Some room have air condition or something noise and I don't know what is this noise! Woman will fair of ghost if stay alone!

The room was clean, though a bit dated. Some of the receptionists couldn't understand english. There is only 2 elevators for the whole building. Breakfast was good.

Great view overlooking river and city. Big rooms. Decent breakfast. Away from tourist centers but they're ready to get to. Definitely feels past its prime but that was OK. Biggest problem was no thermostat for air conditioning. Room would get hot and I'd have to turn it on. Then the AC works get too cold so I'd wake up to turn it off. Made for a restless night, but otherwise good value for money.

Best hotel for price on the river. Most rooms have been refurbished. Used to host many French bus tourists. Now mostly Chinese. Construction of the new Skyline metro nearby is causing traffic problems. But easy water taxi to old and new city.

Hotel environment very well, in Thailand, the Mother River, and a cruise ship dock, the room is large, and Chinese TV.

It must be crazy to stay with this hotel for more than 20 years. One will enjoy this hotel if you know the art of give and take.

Run down rooms, far away location. It was nice 10 years ago but now a run down place with unfriendly staff. Location is far from city center and train station. Staff will call taxi for you but with much higher cost than normal meter taxi. The only nice thing is the river view, but not worth the value. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
