We were at Premier Riva Room. The view was excellent as expected. Spacious balcony, stylish room decoration.
The only comment would be the conditions of the air-con. It was so loud when we had highest fan speed and the smell from the ferry gasoline was stuck (from when we went down for breakfast then went up to the room, the diesel smell were still there).
Check out was so heartfelt with personalized thank you card!
We will come back for sure!

Such a welcoming hotel, upon check-in, my wife and I were treated with smiles from the front desk, bell boy, cleaners and in fact all the hotel staff.
the staff speaks pretty good English as well and are always helpful with your needs. the rooms are sparkling clean and spacious. The bed is ultra comfy and all in all this is a perfect hotel. definitely a highly recommended hotel.

From the moment we arrived we received service and class that truly made our 4 night stay amazing.
Location is perfect on the river, restaurants, bars and shopping.
A must is the BBQ all you can eat for 2 hours, amazing quality food with real value for money. (Eat at 6.00pm & enjoy the Happy hour drinks also for an hour).

Couldn't be nicer! The Botique hotels close to the best parts of the city are best. Great spot overlooking a frantically active River and next to the water taxi. You won't find a better hotel experience. I've traveled the world. This is as good as it gets.

The hotel is excellent for a long or short stay in Bangkok. An ideal location with great facilities.
Service from Aum and colleagues was first class.
I hope to return one day, and soon.

4 night stay here, well situated for reclining Buddha, grand palace, temple mount. Easy walk to khan san road. Peaceful accommodation, nice pool to cool off. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant serving good food, good breakfast.

Went there once in the morning for buffet. It was pretty good. There were many choices to choose. Nice location, but they got small parking lot by the way.

One small hotel with excelent staff, quiet rooms even when facing the noisy street, very near the public piers alowing you to go everywhere in the city by the river. Also can walk to the famous Khao San Road for a drink, shopping or eating… The hotel is excelent for a break and rest, the breakfast you take facing the river and his interesting life, the swiming pool at the side… We loved the hotel.

Great boutique hotel! Very nice pool and eating area. The hotel is on the water, giving you great views. Only draw back is that it can be very loud during Songkran due to the proximity to Khao San Rd. But it's not the hotels fault.

The Restaurant Bubble & Rum, such a wonderful atmosphere and gathering place for meals. Comforts of home with the hospitality best in Bangkok. Our server Nut, exemplified the stellar service. Big, airy room with balcony overlooking the river. Nice pool area though service could be rather slow. Lovely staff. Housekeeping is good. The location was perfect for us just a few minutes walk from the stalls, bars and cafes of Rambuttri Village. Recommend by me anyway.

A can at the gap close to the typical restaurants overlooking Chao Praya personal Super Breakfast exelente attentive waiters by cons nightclub nearby which explains the balls in the rooms.

The staff at Riva Surya was fantastic throughout our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshing chilled tea and a towel to freshen up while our bags were brought to our rooms. Whenever we had any questions the lobby staff went above and beyond to help us. We asked how to get to the tailor, and ended up with a map with multiple ferry locations circled and advice on taking the BTS skytrain as well as hailing a taxi for us and telling us how much it should cost. The rooms are a good size and housekeeping staff keep everything tidy (I found my jumbled shoes neatly rearranged in pairs after returning to the room one afternoon). I'd say the clientele is a bit older which is nice when you don't want to be kept up by all night partying. This hotel is a bit further up the river than the big name hotels. I'd call that a plus, as you get more value for your money and it is only a short express boat ride away if you want to head down there. Bonus: the orange flag ferry is only 15 baht and the pier is a five minute walk from the hotel. There's also a pier right off the terrace if you want to hire a longtail boat. Speaking of, the hotel breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the kitchen isn't afraid to try cuisines from all over the world, sometimes with entertaining (but always tasty) results. This hotel is at the top of my list for future trips.

The hotel is well placed near Koshan Riad and the historic district (Royal Palace and Wat Pho). Nice staff.

Great place. Really close to Khao San rd and other cool things. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this place for a get away, as a base for a visit to the city, or a 'Stay'cation!

For the riverfront cafe, their burger is awesome. Very perfect to burger itself. Satay with baguette also good. And happy hour for 1+1.

Fantastic hotel on the river near to Khao San Road. It's a modern take on Thai design which makes it feel new but not starchy. It also has a open design that allows you to walk in and see all the way out to the river. This open design follows into the rooms where it's floor to ceiling glass walls looking out towards the river. The beds are extremely comfy. Great for jetlagged persons. I have to say that the staff is the highlight of the hotel. Warm, helpful and attentive without being annoying. I had a wonderful stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and the decor was bright and modern. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also a huge selling point for us. You can easily walk to several of the main tourist areas and museums.

Beautiful hotel located just around the corner from famous Khao San road street market. Situated on the river this hotel provides easy access to water transportation. There is a restaurant and beautiful pool as well as air conditioned rooms with balconys that look over the river. Very good upscale hotel. Would stay at again!

Amazing find on the edge of Khao San road. Super friendly staff, lovely laid back breakfast on the edge of the river and a gorgeous setting. Only let down is the noise — woken up at 6 each morning with the tugs and long tail boats. Otherwise, a perfect stay in Bangkok!

We spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel in Bangkok. What a treat! Very helpful, frenzy staff and very cmfy bed. Our room had a river view which was interesting to see boats coming up and down the river. The pool was a welcome spot after a hot day of sight-seeing. We ate in their restaurant both nights or a reasonable price and tasty food. Blue, the restaurant manager is great fun. Very accommodating re slight changes to the dishes we ordered. Really enjoyed his personal touch and also the assistance of Pom in the restaurant who obligingly showed s the jar of deep — fried butterfly coccoons that us ladies sampled (but not our husbanda! ) And the included breakfast buffet had a great selection of International options. Wish we were staying longer!

This hotel is perfect in every way. Located by the river and less than a 5 minute walk from the famous Khaosan road. The staff are extremely friendly and the pool is very nice and well kept. Breakfast is perfect! The rooms are very spacious. I had to leave super early in the morning to catch my flight and the hotel staff had a breakfast bag for me without even me asking for it! Simply exceptional!

Probably the best hotel by the river in Bangkok. It's a bit of a hidden treasure. Not cheap, but still good value for the standard, and the location is pretty good to. Walking distance to Kao San Road and Grand Palace. Much more private place than the typical popular hotels along the river. Some times they have good dinner deals too.

We are currently staying at this fantastic hotel for 4 nights before flying to Phuket and we could not be happier. We have two riverside balcony rooms and the view over the river is magnificent especially at night.
The location of this hotel is perfect. It is easy walking distance to the vibrancy of khao san rd and a walk or quick boat trip to the Royal Palace and surrounding attractions.
There is a pier directly outside for ease of access to the river boats.
Staff are welcom…ing and very friendly. They have arranged a tour and have helped at every opportunity.
The pool area is an oasis from the heat and activity outside. We have visited the Palace this morning and will spend the afternoon around the pool before venturing out again this evening.
Although it is a bit more expensive than other Hotels, it is worth every cent. I am able to introduce my family to the sights (and smells) of Asia and then step into comfort and hospitality of Riva Surya. We love it and even my teenage kids are happy here.

Beautiful place to stay, very smart, the restaurant offers fabulous Thai food, the staff is very nice, helpful and welcoming. Location on the river is very useful to visit the surrounding. The hotel can also arrange tours. Please carry on like this you are my top list.
