I booked a room through Booking. Com and only AFTER I paid and confirmed booking they send me email about charging me 2000 for my pets. Why is this a hidden cost?
On top of that, they are not allowing me to cancel booking without charging the hole amount.

Extremely disappointed, we moved here assuming that the Movenpick name stood for quality, service and excellence. Being a circle member, this is something I have come to associate with the Movenpick name. However, it seems that these residences are simply Condo's with a brand name. I appreciate these are recently refurbished but we have had nothing but issues since we moved in, from A/C, TV, Sewage Smell, Dirty apartment when we moved in. The most frustrating thing is not the maintenance issues but the service, no help when your laden with bags — not even a polite opening of the door. The security guard at roadside is ALWAYS on his mobile phone, to the point you could be left waiting to turn in as he hasn't moved the barrier. There isn't even any common courtesy to respond to an email — 6th August I sent an email — today is the 16th and still no acknowledgement or reply. Now the reason I am posting this, is we were promised all the work would be complete when we returned from our weekend away. Well yes it was — except the bathroom had screws, bolts and plaster all over the floor, a bag of workman trash in the shower & the best of all — the toilet hadn't even been put back together, I had to finish the job! So, sat here writing this with Internet that is on & off, then on & off — a key selling point by the Sales team when trying to get us to lease the condo. In fact, it is so bad we stumped up the extra 4000 baht to have our own installed.
