Spacious and classic Thai feeling. Beds a little in the form side though. Wi-Fi drops in and out entire time.

Very good place to put up at Bangkok. Clean rooms great breakfast buffet you have to pay extra for that with your room rent but when clubbed it is nice and inexpensive … decent roof top pool and attached gym… rooms are air conditioned you get a mini bar fridge and TV with local channels… staff is very courteous… bringing food from outside is allowed … drinking and smoking in the room allowed … step out and you can hop into skytrain services in 2 steps so great place to start off from for self planned trips. One thing they should have which they dont is a phone in the room to call the reception for something … you have to go down the lift for that. It is an older building and is getting renovated as per requirements which is understood considering when you are on a budget it is the place to be at… also no option for lunch or dinner better go out and eat and drink.

So the first day my room smelled loud Pee and the Wi-Fi does not function so on the 2nd day I change my room. My second room was full of Roach there are even Roach traps in the furniture and bed. The Wi-Fi worked very badly after 3 days I decided to say the 4 truth has the reception the guy my insulted in Thai I returned him are insult he threw me 1 bag to the figure then he jumped out of his counter to hit me the woman next to him the withheld 2times I ask for reimbursement to leave it does not my refund then I left the hotel very angry.

New outside, mostly old inside but hey, what do you expect for the price? Great location and friendly staff. Food at your doorstep as well as an ATM and convenience store.

This is really more like a budget hotel. Like a 2star motel. Pros: Hotel located just in front of BTS station. Huge spacious room. Working Wi-Fi. Cons: Aircon not cold. TV reception so bad, TV programs keeps breaking up. Noise isolation bad, you could hear doors slamming from other rooms. Whole place badly need a makeover. Unless u are on a budget, wouldn't recommended this place.

Good budget hotel good staff and the breakfast which is served is also good. If you visiting BBk you can plan to stay here everyone around is helpful.

When u paid 1000 baths don’t expect to sleep in Westin me was happy big room bathroom ok swimming pool ok TV sucks but got my iPad so who cares good Wi-Fi and BTS in front.

Might be a detail, but something I really loved at King Royal Garden was the smell of the clean sheets! I've been travelling and visiting lot of hotels but never felt asleep with such a nice smell before ahah. The room was spacious as I expected and the bathroom good with even a bathtub. The location was perfect just front a metro station. A bit too far for me from the airport as I was only on transfert (~1h driving to Don Muang). Dont expect a nice view from the hotel room as there are less than 10floors, but there is a real nice rooftop with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym where I've been enjoying sitting at night. I was a little anxious when I arrived in the lobby that doesn't look good, but the main was there.

Budget hotel. Away from the center, but at the access door to the BTS.
Lack of hygiene, very difficult to communicate.

The hotel is a bit worn down but the proximity to the BTS and street food as well as the Chao Praya blue flag on and off boat makes up for it any day. The pool on the roof is very good. The deck is an other story be carefully where you walk. If your looking for luxury you will be disappointed but if your looking for a clean and close proximity accomodation you will be pleased with the place. Specialy the price.

Just behind of BTS and family mart. It is very good location but room was old and smelly with some bugs. Receptionist were unfriendly. Swimming pool on the roof was nice view bad not clean and a bit run down. Overall it's ok for just a night with that price.

The staff is nice but going to the room saw a bunch of small cockroaches running around everywhere. I had to leave because there were a lot of them!

They hire cockroaches to guard the hotel rooms. When you go into the room, you can see many but disappear in minutes. Although their breakfast and location are good, I will never stay in this hotel again!

The place is a bit rundown. It's showing it's age. But the room are spacious and clean. The proximity to the BTS and having a 7/11 downstairs as well as a great laundry service downstairs and an ATM. Very good street food at the entry and on the side street near by are a great plus. The pool was great but the deck a bit scarry. All in all a fresh cost of paint and fix the deck would greatly improve the experience. For the price I can't complain that much.

Great location, right at the Sky train station. Nice staff, clean rooms and rooftop pool which is pleasant after a busy and hot day in Bangkok.
Rooms are very large and clean. Breakfast is possible if you want to take it.
Price — performance fits. I would book again if I come to Bangkok again.

The only advantage: from the MRT station downstairs to the hotel.
(S5, Surasak station) room is old, almost no Wi-Fi signal, low cost (I live 1045/night, including breakfast).
The room wall cancer, the room door bottom bad damage, the noise effect is poor, the room is dim. Bath hot water Sometimes without, very troubled. But fortunately, breakfast made me quite satisfied.

Stayed 4 consecutive nights, cheap, super close to the subway station, downstairs is a convenience store, breakfast and cook now do a variety of eggs can choose, the disadvantage is that the equipment is too old, bathroom hot water is electric heater, occasionally will jump electricity, room air conditioning is very cold, counter and room service is also very kind.

Had a room qith both ants and a cockroach. Hot water didnt work and the room was filthy. I complained and fortunately the staff gave me a better room. The room was still old, but at least it was generally clean and had hot water. I give the place 2 stars because I asked to leave early to be refunded for the rest of my stay (4 days) and they agreed.

It's some kind of relict of passed times. Swimming pool on the roof may be a attraction but everything seems close to their retairement.

Friendly staff. Coin operated washing machines. Thai massage. Hawker food stalls around.

The room is big. They have bathtub & shower. You're given 2 mineral waters everyday. They also provide wardrobe, refrigerator and hair dryer. For bath supplies, the hotel give u shampoo, soap and lotion, but not provide toothpaste and toothbrush. Clean towel for face and body also given everyday. The minus poin is I found a very small cockroach in our room.

Good hotel for 1-2 nights in the centre of Bangkok.

Very easy connection, down stairs bts surasak station, you can reach anywhere airport, mbk, subway, etc. One station from saphan taksin where you can go to the pier and get a boat to gran palace or asiatique. Rooms are in good conditions always renew, air condition, swimming pool, gym, taxy, hot water, breakfast and a cheap price.

Poor quality of rooms, but not expensive.

For the price and the location its quiet fine. Its directly in front of the sky train. Going to the park or to the center is really short. The rooms are really large. Its kinda clean where it has to be clean but dont expect too much. If you have to watch your budget its ok. The AC is kinda loud and the whole hotel is very old, you see it in every way. But like I said, for that price its the best you will get. You get what you pay for :)

For the price, you get more than what you pay for. I have stayed in hostels that cost more and get a fraction of what this place offers. I would say it's a step up from motel 6. We stayed here many years ago, and it hasn't changed a bit. For Approx $25 USD you get a private clean room everyday, bottled water, electric kettle, and A/C. If you want Hilton type service, go to the Hilton. It meets every need for a budget stay. There is also a salon and a massage parlor at the ground floor. Great after a long day of site seeing. Also very close to the BTS which is a plus!

A good option for budget travelers. Rooms are clean. A bit noisy as it is just close to the BTS. There are shops on the ground floor which is a little weird.

Good location to the Skytrain Station Surasak. Friendly staff, large rooms and swimming pool on the roof. Breakfast Basic. Unfortunately a bit dated, but clean. Really good price for Bangkok and the location!
