Gerwill Hotel

The hotel is super good. Good meeting venues and it's facilities package, Customer care not far from Airport, Variety of foods and Drinks roads to the hotel is good. Advised to plan your accomodations here.

Context: party of 9 with no reservation.
Service: Good because they managed to get together a sitting arrangement for 9 people promptly.
They could improve on how fast they bring out drinks as we had to wait for over 35 minutes. Food came out over an hour later but that’s just how most hotels in Tanzania operate.
Food: Calamari presented well which pleasantly surprised me. Light breading and crispy — best in dodoma so far. The flavor was a bit bland but the sauce made up for it.
Fish makange was good — flavor profile is a bit spicy but pleasant — fish was fried too dry but the sauce made up for it.
Biryani — this came out hot, the onions were caramelized to perfection — I recommend this dish.
Wait staff : Jamal Simon was patient and tried to be accommodating. The manager Faisal was also helpful. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great experience. Great hospitality, nice rooms and facilities.

The hotel was nice, serene and customer service top notch. I will recommend this for anyone visiting Dodoma.

A nice hotel overall. Service was warm, location was easy to find.
More details: They have two wings to the hotel so if you want a cheaper price, go to the one that says “apartment”. There was some confusion on prices when we arrived but they honored the cheaper price that I had inquired about.
Rooms are spacious but already showing signs of wear and tear. There is hardly any insulation so you can hear people outside and above you very easily.

Haven’t stayed yet, but I’ve tried twice to make a last-minute booking and they are always fully booked. Need good planning for this one you should book at least a week in advance. I called and they were very professional and spoke good English and they said it will be a pleasure to have you come, and it already sounds like it’s a great place. Will stay there next time.

Great place and ambiance. Nothing beats this one in Dodoma. Friendly staff that are quick to action. The kitchen in the executive suit needs basic supplies like a kitchen towel or a ladle or even a rubbish bag to complete the perfect picture. Overall I cant wait to come back.
