We spent the third time (since the change of owner) as a family our holiday here. After the first stay we have criticized various points. One year after that we went back with the hope of improvement. Some changes were made and so we decided to spend our ski holiday in this House again. But now we have to see that this leadership is not comparable to the predecessor couple. The present owners are Geschläftsleute and no hoteliers/restaurateurs. It makes the impression as if the profit is more important than the satisfaction of the guests. The chef changed, the food was not 4-star worthy: Meat still raw, overseasoned or bland, only lukewarm. Furthermore, we had to find out in the map that there are mainly German specialties, in a Swiss mountain village we would and certainly the foreign guests expect more Swiss specialities. In addition, every morning the same expenses were paid to cheese, cold cuts etc. No change! There used to be homemade jams, now only packaged. The salad buffet in the evening was uncommon, as there were the same salads every day (and very few varieties, lamb's lettuce poorly cleaned). When something was criticized came "silly and cheeky sayings" from the Serviechef. They also had the impression that the staff had been saved. The service staff were friendly, but it made the impression that they were too few. In addition, some were poorly trained (clearing if someone was still eating, could not carry 3 plates) as well as the German was unfortunately for example. Very bad.
The two bosses were seldom seen, even during the meal time, nobody was seen by them who cared for or asked for the guests.
No one else (Mr. Diebold, Mr. Stubbe) was on the spot again on departure.
The Swiss gastronomy seems to be always more minimalist, because you could still learn a lot from abroad (Austria, South Tyrol)!
