Although small for the price, it was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. (Breakfast is awesome! )

Good location, close to the train station and in the edge of the old town. Friendly staff and good breakfast. There is also a nice view from some of the rooms to the old town. Rooms are tiny, especially the room in floor 5 where we stayed which looks more like an attic than a room. The bed could not comfortably fit two adult people. Like many small European hotels it has no aircon which makes it very unpleasant in the hot summer days. Its time to consider the climate changes in Europe and add aircon to every hotel as a standard.

Top location, friendly competent staff, decent breakfast. Room very clean and a great bathroom. Very nice building. Price performance is right here.

It was a great stay. The rooms are brand new and modern. The charm of the house is noticeable everywhere and the nice staff made our weekend the perfect excursion! We'll be back for sure!

A lot of music noise at 6 in the morning.

I just met my friends in the lobby. The girl at the front desk was extremely friendly and serviceminded and even though I wasn't a guest staying at the hotel, she tried to make my wait a pleasurable one.

The hotel has a very high and nicely decorated ballroom. The ceiling consists of renovated stucco work. From the balcony on the upper floor you can see the hall.

The Guild house to the male, now used as a hotel, has classic strict forms. The entrance with two supporting pillars gives the building a dominant trait. The windows are strictly structured without Zierwerk. The pillars of the stone slabs on the left and right of the façade remain remarkable, a clear demarcation to the neighbouring houses. A manor building that does not miss its charisma.

If I had wanted to sleep in a hammock and a 28° C room I would have gone to the beach. Staff was kind enough to give us an industrial strength fan, but it's not going to be easy to sleep with the sound of a hovercraft next to the bed. Think twice about staying in summer. Going to be a long, sleepless night. Already cancelled our second night's reservation.

Friendly staff, good breakfast selection with delicious coffee. Liked our room on the 3rd floor. Beautiful staircase, but there is an elevator, too! They are completely remodeling the bathrooms later this year, but the current one still feels modern and fresh. They carry Rituals amenities in the bath, a nice touch.

Great hotel in a very nice old building. Very clean, good breakfast buffet and super friendly staff. Close to the old town but still quiet.

In this hotel, you immediately feel welcome. Service is very friendly and you feel the sincere care for their guests. Food quality is also very good. Rooms are good but you will regret there is no air conditioning — ventilators are there to help but still, room temperature in sunny summer days is a challenge. Well located in the center.

Reception very friendly and competent, despite our dog. Secure for our bikes and room in the attic, very nice place.
We enjoyed this lovely place, in the heart of the city.

We were males to the 4 ten times at the hotel, the hotel has plenty of charm and the kindness of all staff is very positive. All are trying very hard to make it the guest as pleasant as possible. We had a room this time forward to the road, this is somewhat louder as the room to the rear. Because you can hear the street and economic Nightcomer bawl sometimes on the road, this hotel can't help but of course. We will ask next time again for a room back to the Court.
The bathrooms have become somewhat in the years, here a modernization would be announced at least at the fixtures and vanities in the next few years. But everything very clean and small details such as the duck and a chocolate duck is very nice and free bottle of mineral water in the room I find one.
Positive to note: the breakfast is to last visit that what is empty is filled even if it comes later. We will definitely come back stay at Hotel to the males during the next visit to Schaffhausen.

It was nice, but I didn't have a fridge in the room and there was no window showing outside. Very smal room. Very nice and supportive people.

I spent 2 nights; very expensive price for very little room breakfast is quite simple no self used of machine café.

All simply perfect. Perhaps i've been lucky, because my room (n. 501) had also a fantastic view over the old town of Schaffausen. But i've appreciated over all the fantastic kindness of all the hotel staff, and the beauty of the historic palace. Has been a very nice experience, to stay there.

Unfortunately, no parking from the hotel available. By public transport it is but a problem close to the train station.

Not to the first, and definitely not to last seen guest in the finest hotel on the Rhine River.

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Great ambiance. Very cordial staff. Breakfast was sumptuous. Very well located – easy walking distance from the station but carefully tucked away from the main road. Sitting at the fireplace in the lounge was cozy. Highly recommended.
