It was a great stay in July 2018. Excellent location, walkable from train station. Suite was ultimate with lake view from full size windows on two sides. Supportive staff.

Top Class hotel. Luxury stay with awesome view to amazingly beautiful Lucern lake. In my second stay, I got lake facing room. It was awesome experience. Rooms are large, super clean. Really 5+* rated. Highly recommended. Worth the above average rate.

Room was super clean and well designed, and seemed very new. Location was right by the lake and by the main train station, so amazing location. Service was alright, but everything seemed overpriced (breakfast, etc. )

Just across Lake Lucerne, close to the train station, convenient shopping, hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. High room rate does not include breakfast, it is too bad!

2010.6/1 with the travel agency to stay, the first day of the group of friends included we have reacted to the hotel conditions, Lotus Head fault leakage, drain blockage, hair dryer failure, bathroom cleaning group did not provide shower milk, body milk provided 2 cans, and provided only one person just good, then the other one does not need to wash it?
Towels also have yellow stains …
6/2 afternoon Guide said that due to the room card set error factors, thought that our regiment has left the hotel, has cancelled all room card use, to return to the hotel need to go to the counter, to the room card reset before entering the room, the hotel manager said he would send a bottle of mineral water to express apologies, so 18:00 sent a bottle of mineral water and a small bottle 6/2 afternoon 3-4 o ' clock back to the hotel rest, found the room completely unsorted, bathroom we are used to use after the stack of good size towel intact, with the roommate confirmed not in the door to hang not clean the card, contact with the guide immediately contact the hotel counter said will come to clean up, waiting for about 40 minutes cleaning staff to come, Because the body is tired want to rest or ask staff to help clean the bathroom can be.

Upon arrival, I was told that I will be getting a room with a mountain view. After checking in, I was given a room facing the courtyard with no view at all. Check in time was 3PM, but room wasn't ready till 3:30PM! Extremely disappointed! I asked for one king bed and was given a room with two twin beds. Unfortunately will have to stay here for two nights! However, I must say that this place is extremely clean and has a great location.

The hotel is near the promenade. There is no balcony in the room.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, and perfect location. The hotel is 5 minutes from the station which made it so much easier to go on our day excursions. Would definitely stay here again :) Also be sure to ask for the free travel bus pass and free 2 day tell-pass (we got it as a special offer for winter bookings jan-march 2018).

Very nice hotel. Good selection of breakfast. The gym is adequate. It has a separate yoga room with the view of the alps. Good location, very close to the train station and the lake.

The best of the Radisson Blus. Newly renovated and the bar selection is great with friendly staff all around reception bar and breakfast. Great value for the centre of Luzern!

A very stylish and well located hotel. The furniture and especially the bathroom are very high quality. Right on the lake!

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant had good food, and the rooms were very nice.

Top hotel between train station and shipyard. Partial sesameness. Newly renovated rooms. Price/performance OK. Room clean, modern and spacious. Staff very friendly and courteous. To our question, free upgrade to a room with a view of the hotel. Breakfast buffet generous, with everything your heart desires. Recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Great staff. Room was functional. Location was great, not dead central but acceptor everything.

The reception at the hotel was very tasteful, the staff at the entrance was well dressed and accommodating. At the bar we were quickly served and the staff here was also very quick and attentive. The Chardonnay is recommended just like the Karaibische rum.

At the seminars at the Radisson Blu, the technology always works fantastic. The staff is competent and friendly and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Always happy.

Convinent location near train station and main scenery. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when requested. Gym was adequate with machines and weights up to 10kg. Room was nicely sized.

Well-located hotel in the centre of Lucerne. Quality and price not bad.

A group of us checked in at once, all the room keys were handed out and not one of them worked the first time. Most of the rooms looked like they hadn't been used in awhile, dust bunnies and garbage left in the waste cans. Towels and linens looked like they hadn't been replaced in years. Our room faced the railroad station and yes we never heard the trains we couldn't open the privacy blind as there was a walkway 100 feet from our window. The room was very warm, the thermostat did not work, luckily there was a floor fan. The furniture was plastic and uncomfortable which consisted of a desk chair, little round table and chair. The coffee maker made cold coffee. The breakfast was poorly done, cold eggs, sausages (looked like them) had to continuously ask for what we needed as they couldn't keep up with the demand. Felt sorry for the staff as they did try. Asked for a new room right away and was told they didn't have one but another member of the group whose room was right beside us got switched. Loved the size of our room and the hotel was close to the lake.

The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing; it included the mountains, city, and lake. The ability to open the windows (larger than most standard doors) and get a breeze without worrying about anything flying out of the window was also nice. Really wish there had been firm-er pillows though. But nearly all of the hotels seem to be going to these pillows that they can make stand up in "fun and curious" ways so that they look like folded napkins. Problem with that is you have to fold them once or twice to get enough firmness for front or side sleepers. Did appreciate the free beer though.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. We arrived at 10:30am after a long journey and our room was ready. The hotel was situated by the lake and was within a 5 minute walk to the train station as well as major city attractions. The hotel room was very large and spacious (American style), with all the comforts we are used to.

A very upscale hotel. Very helpful staff. Rooms are very modern. Loved the welcome message when I entered the room on my TV screen. Wi-Fi is very fast. Its just that the washroom have a big gap in its glass door. If you are sharing a room with a office colleague then its a bit embarrassing.

Really nice modern hotel with friendly staff. A bit out of the way but located close to the train station. The only fault we could find was the need to give the carpets a good clean as they were stained.

A hotel with fantastic views, close to the train station which is such a bonus. Book early or you will miss out. Trains from here will connect you to the rest of Switzerland. Service is very good. We had a small problem with the bathroom tap, but it was sorted straight away. If you have to be really picky, I would say there probably was a tiny lack of attention to detail, but otherwise great stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located, 5 / 10 min walk to the Center.
The staff is very professional, but do not speak the french.
Covered parking at the hotel is expensive, but no more than any other city parking.
Breakfast is quite expensive, but the buffet is well stocked and very complete.

It's a nice and central hotel. A good alternative to the Monopol.

Very nice and modern rooms. As the not Swiss are the prices at the beginning to get used to. The Breakfast is rich and good. As are the conference rooms well equipped.

Fairly modern looking, but water was milky. Didn't have floor mats in the toilet.

Location and furniture are good ; charge is little high. Nice view to the lake. I would like to visit again.

Outside of the core, yet everything is nearby. Everything tip-top, not-too-specially worth mentioning. Solid & well, again and again!

Very awesome and clean room! It is near Luzern main station and the place to take ship. Also they give us the lakeview room for Honeymoon traveler. I like this hotel :).

The Raddison Blu Lucerne was the perfect hotel for our 2 day getaway in Lucerne for one reason: Location, Location, Location! Literally a 5 minute walk from the main train station in Lucerne, this hotel was our life line the first night when we arrived tired and exhausted. The check in process was seamless with an upgrade to a lake facing room and the room was clean with ample space. They had American power adapters, which is always a plus to charge your electronics. The next morning we were able to wake up and do a short day trip because of how close the hotel was to the train station. Since the city is so small it is a reasonable distance from the city center and lake as well. The hotel is also extremely close to the Euroline pickup – which was another plus on our trip.

Beware! READ THIS POST! Reservations are not kept! Overbooks and turns customers away! Do not book for short stays! Reception staff unhelpful and unsympathetic! Bad management practices No customer service revenue before service. This just happened today! We booked a 2 night stay for our honeymoon in June as we passing thru Switzerland to France. Just to make to sure we made our booking 2 months prior in April and wrote a note to tell them it was our honeymoon. Upon reaching the reservation desk on Thursday 3.30pm in the afternoon we were told by a stony faced man that the hotel was over booked and he wouldn't be checking us in. He then immediately said that he would book us an equilvant hotel somewhere else, his smirkness coupled with his devil may care attitude really was not in the least professional or borderline passable for customer service at any level. Can you imagine no explanation no apologies? It was just we’re over booked too bad but we’re book you another hotel now please now get out of my face. The lack of care or concern was obvious and we asked whether we could speak to some one in charge as we just wanted to know how this could have happened. A lady which we assume was the duty manager (wouldn’t give her card. Said she run out? ) tried to give us nice run around story about system errors and how they had to perform a system update which causes over-bookings.

One of the best hotels you can find to stay in Lucerne.

Very helpful staff, very nice and quiet room and directly into the city. Perfect.
