Excellent service, beautiful view.

Highly recommend! The room with terrace view to Matterhorn and spa area, fantastic! The 3 course dinner and breakfast, delicious! Whole staff, excellent service! Worth paying the price.

Very poor service! we book this hotel for Easter. We chose the most expensive room type because the website image show customers can see Matterhorn directly, but we paid 1150CHF get the worse view than the cheapest room type. They should not deceive consumers with fake photos！Note Asian travelers please stay away from this hotel! Serious racial discrimination, email does not respond! the reservation table have very bad attitude! No smiles all the way, roaring to the guests. They say hotel does not provide a view, if customers want to see view need to go out by self. Never heard of such ridiculous reasons ！is no logic! they even talk loudly about the guests in the back！

We got lucky to be where on a wonderful afternoon, the kitchen was already closed but nevertheless the waiter served us a wonderful fondue!

Supposed to be closed, but they got us a drink. Lovely waitress. Loved it.

Very nice and relaxing place at 2200m. Sitting in the hot tub or in the sauna with a view of the Matterhorn is simply unbeatable. The food is good and the staff is nice. The rooms are small, but comfortable.

The Riffelhaus. Ideally placed in both summer and winter (cable car and train next door), with terrace on the Matterhorn.
Sauna, Turkish bath and jacuzzi available. Effective restoration: if you approve, you wait less than a minute between each dish (you can delay if you want).

Located at a height of approx 2200 vs Mount Matterhorn. You can arrive from Zermatt village by train or cable car. The room are clean, small and comfertable. Meals in the hotel restaurant for vegetarians too. The staff is professional and courteous. You can go trekking towards to Riffelsee Lake and back. Very nice hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in December at the beginning of ski season. We had great ski-in, ski-out conditions and easy access to the train. The view from the room was just as amazing as the promotional pictures on the website and the meals were just as good as all of the the restaurants that we tried in town.

Probably the best view and beer at Riffelhaus — Matterhorn and other wonderful mountains, and paragliders taking off just in front of terrace. Was a perfect end to a perfect day after trip up Gornergrat. Lovely staff who brought our dogs water and were happy to keep serving us beer and torte (cake). We were lucky with weather — perfect blue skies all round.

What is not to like? Great rooms, great food, and probably the best view to the Matterhorn. Room rate may be a bit high, but the secluded location more than pay for itself.

Just know it from the outside, make yourself good.

Ski in and out. Brilliant place. Awesome spa.

You can eat fantastically in the Groove House.

Very nice food with very nice service. They place isn't hard to get to, but it is hard to get back.

In the middle of the slopes a very good restaurant.

Have been to many hotels, not only in Switzerland but all over the world, but the food was rarely as good as here, the view from the balcony of the whirlpool was not comparable to any other hotel! The staff is top, very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable from the first minute. Can only recommend it to others.

A great hotel, the rooms are small but cozy. The spa is the hammer with outdoor whirlpool and Matterhorn views. The breakfast buffet has a very good selection, in the evening there is variety with a 4-course menu that changes every evening. The wine list has a good selection, exclusively Swiss wines. The location of the hotel is breathtaking and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was a dreamlike time.

See the perfect spot for the Matt Crest. Should stay for one night.

Lovely hotel with an amazing view over the Matterhorn. The prices in the restaurant are not excessive. Please note that your accommodation may include breakfast and dinner. The breakfast did not have fresh pasteries (the croissants were a deception) but the four course dinner was nice. We got a room with view over the Matterhorn from the balcony. Luckily, one of the days had clear skies. If the weather will not permit it, paying extra for the view is useless as clouds suddenly appear to block the view. The room is clean, cosy and excessively warm sometimes. We had to reduce the heating and open windows. The SPA facilities are nice with an amazing outdoor jacuzzi and indoor sauna both with view over the Matterhorn. The SPA facilities (sauna, finish sauna, showers and relaxation room) excluding the outdoor jacuzzi are recommended nude use which is a bit awkward. You can neglect that rule as many guests did but don't act surprised if you see someone naked. Other than that, this will certainly be my first choice when looking for accommodation in the area.

The hotel is clean, well located but the owner is very rude for 4 star hotel. Also we did not like the food, one evening I got the raw fish, the evening after tough piece of meat. When I complained and said I did not like their food, owner told me that he was very angry with me… Well, for the food and bad attitude I can only give 1 star. New Year's day is completely ruined.

For the best view on the Matterhorn!
