Hotel

This hotel was adequate. The beds are very narrow and they only provide one towel per day. No face cloths or bathmats. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in every way. Delicious and will serve every taste.

Not even sure where to start with this review. After spending weeks in crowded hostels, our tour group were counting down the days until we got to this hotel to be in twin share rooms and for others, with their partners. When we got to the hotel, we were treated like pack animals, being given twin share rooms with two more uncomfortable beds crammed into them to fit 4 people. Our rooming lists were completely disregarded and we were put with people we didn't know well or hadn't stayed with at all. Some people got twin share rooms with only two people in them who were not couples and another person got a room to themselves. For an 18-storey hotel I fail to see how you can't fit a group across the hotel into rooms fit for 2 people. We crammed into two floors. I'm also failing to see what I paid for.

It's my first time at this hotel, coming from overseas with a tour group, we booked in our hotel weeks ago with all our rooms booked in as twin shares, with certain rooming lists given in advance so that the couples on the tour could stay together, after being separated for weeks in hostels. not only did they disregard the rooming list completely, they crammed 2 fold out beds (which were extremely unpleasant to sleep on) into each room only big enough for two people, and expected 4 random people to stay in the rooms together. when we asked to speak to the manager we were told that they would be in tomorrow and could sort it out then but that was a lie as we found out that no manager is on during the weekend, and that the staff were untrained most things and didn't even care about our situation, even though we all paid for twin rooms and were expecting a good change from hostels, but ended having a worse experience.

It pretty good. If there were some veggie options in the restaurant I'd have been happier. Staff were all helpful and pleasant.

Nice clean hotel with all the basics you need. Bar area downstairs was also very nice and had a free to play PS4 which was a nice bonus. Couldn't get the Wi-Fi working well which was the only negative point for a good value for money hotel with friendly staff. Perfect distance of course to the conference centre as well.

Very well situated hotel right next to the fair centre. Short distance to the railway station and city centre is very well accessible. Room was clean and well equipped, I enjoyed my stay! :)

I've been to a few Scandica and this is by far the best one I have been to. Two big thumbs up and and smilie. Rooms are modern and feel fresh. Views are ok for the area and I feel satisfied with my stay here. We went to another Scandic close by for a dinner with colleagues and I couldn't wait to get back to our Scandic again. The showers are probably the best feature compared to the other Scandica I've visited due to water pressure is actually present unlike the rest.

Great location for the event I was visiting. Rooms were nice and staff 5 stars.

Great when not overly busy, otherwise can be a long wait for food.

So so food — quality varied much for us (party of 9). The top roof bar is very small. Rooms are good, I hear.

Very good hotel. Room spacious. Closed underground car park. Breakfast with very large selection and very good quality! I recommend this hotel without reservation.

Nice weekend. Nice place and staff.

It's the standard hotel. The rooms are clean and the view over Stockholm is nice, but it's nothing special. The breakfast is bland and standard. At least when I stayed there, the staff often gave conflicting information about things. The beds are standard hotel fare, too soft for my taste and pillows are so soft they disappear into the mattress. It's the standard hotel, and as such it's okay but nothing special.

Hotel Hell? Something for Mr Gordon Ramsey to deal with…
With stayed at a Junior Suite… Where toilet did not work, old animal remains (dog food? ) w rotten beacon was found in the drawer, and no extra bed was in the room upon arrival — despite being explicitly mentioned as requirement when booking… Apart from that room keys did not work and was locked out in parking garage…

A nice decent hotel, with a nice rooftop terrace in summer.

Nice, modern, and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet ist good. One should avoid using the elevators during rush hours.

At the fair, great hotel but that prices!

The staff at the reception didn’t bother to give us information about the hotels facilities. Unusually small restaurant, breakfast so crowded, no one was cleaning the tables. I would not recommend this hotel unless you have to be in the near vicinity of an event happening in the halls next to the hotel.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Too bad for the very limited menu.

Key Cards an User Experience of doors and elevator were crap — but everything else was fab.

Lodge here and you will be glad you did. Best facility.

Was there with the family, 2 adults and 2 children in one room. Ok rooms, did not spend much time there. Very good breakfast! Had all that you could wish, warm breakfast, good sortiment, and most important for me, very good bread! A whole floor designated children with playground, table tennis, cinema and playstation area. Felt very safe for the children which ran pretty much all over the place alone. Dinner, both buffet and a la carte was good and there was an okay list of wines. A bit off centre of Stockholm, but very easy to get to city centre with public transport.

It is a very nice hotel with a professional service staff. It Has a very nice view of the greenery stockholm and very close to the down town, ten minutes and you there. I highly recommend Scandic talk hotel.

Nice hotel to stay, we stayed there for 16 days, breakfast was awesome, variety of options we there. Best part of the day it was for us. Staff was humble, check in and check out was quite easy.

I think this hotel is Swedens version of a Premier Inn in the UK.
As you approach the steps to the hotel, you are greeted with rubbish and cigerette ends all around the stairs. Not good appearance.
The staff are great, food ok and the room is very basic with a 1960's design to it and not cleaned very well.
I had to change my 1st room as it smelt of sweaty feet.
All in all, the room is average with staff who try to make up for the hotel deficiencies with their great customer service.

Some cons) ) ) 200 meters from the station you have to walk, lift too fast, in the hallway for 4 days did not see the other guests, a huge wardrobe, but could the Swedish wall to put in the Minibar not found Klinskoe beer! ( ( (I found iron, I had iron… Condo stubbornly keeps a comfortable temperature, not to cool and not to sweat ( ( (Breakfast is brain explodes from a variety of food, and I want a normal pearl-barley porridge with prunes and kazinaki… Clever with the reception know everything, Bud studied at MGIMO in short… "no matter what"! I recommend! ) ) )

Very nice hotel, good and clean room and facilities, excellent breakfast, good location (direct train every 15 min => to Stockholm City 8 min; every 30 min => to Stockholm Arlanda 50 min). Very good price/service ratio.

One of the best breakfast buffets I've eaten!

Excellent food served by friendly and utterly brilliant staff.

Internet disappointing — wireless almost un-usable in room but OK in foyer with slow speeds. ~1MB up and down — which can suffer greatly as soon as a few people are connected. Other than this, very good. Great breakfast and good location close and easy accessible from Älvsjö station.
