Well to start with l was greeted with a smile and both ladies on the desk were very helpful, but let me say l have stayed here many times and taken notice that whoever is at the desk everyone is treated graciously, so l tip my hat to the personnel at Spar Hotel.

Perfect place to stay and relax.

Really very cheap and convenient located: by car easy access from the highway and an underground car park is available. To get to the city, the tram stop is only five minutes away, without changing trains you can get to all the sights.

From the inside, the hotel is also much nicer than from the outside. Quite a normal business hotel, but also suitable for a holiday.

Rena o fräscha rum, inredning I skandinavisk design. I mitt rum fanns en grand lit säng med ett sängbord, ett platsbyggt skrivbord, en bänk för bagage samt en liten hängare för kläder. Toaletten var helkaklad vit o helt perfekt städad. Frukosten var helt ok, men undvik de löskokta äggen då dessa är råa men varma. Personalen I receptionen är snabba o trevliga. Detta är ett trevligt budgethotell.

It's good but doesn't have shower curtains and it's a little too small.

The hotel is located near a tram stop, the strategic location has contributed a lot in my judgment. Overall it is a lovely hotel, the ladies of the reception very courteous and helpful. Only flaw is the cleanliness, not always great, one day returning in the afternoon in the room I found on my mattress an insect and once they moved the pajamas on the bedside table and put everything crumpled. Breakfast was plentiful and good, I often found the jar of Nutella finished, but overall the milk and pancakes were exquisite as well as the juices!

Good average hotel, the lift is cheap and the maintenance is not very good. Breakfast is good.

Very nice reception. Surprised breakfast, from 6 to 11 and a large range of products. The room is cozy, clean. Parking underground and free, which is very important! The hotel itself is old, but it takes a back seat compared to the services.

Good location to sentrum. Nice staff especially d room service. Cosy room but a bit stuffy. Good breakfast. A pleasant stay. Keep it up.

Läget är okej om man gillar majorna annars är det en bit in till stan. Frukost helt okej. Något trång frukostmatsal. Rummen rätt basic inget extra. Funkar som övernattning men inget fancy.

The stay was OK. I was promised parking in the garage, but it was full and had to park outside. I asked for two single beds, got a double. Other than that it was a good stay.

Easy to travel and conveniently located. Good access to the city.

The hotel is in a quiet area and a few tram stops from the center. The common spaces are welcoming and comfortable. My room, despite its simplicity, was stocked with everything you need in a hotel. Breakfast is very rich and varies to meet all needs. The staff are very nice.

Nice! Middle of the city, Gothenburg, close to Ship terminal Stena Line, Harbour, Tramp and walking distance around downtown. Room is clean, Wifi, Breakfast, also there are hotel parking, free of charge.

Great hotel. Good location, not far from the Centrum/Train Station. Rooms are nice, everything you need. The room I had would have been great for families. Two queens with bunk beds! There was no milk for the tea and coffee, however I'm sure the reception would have brought some if I had asked. All staff on reception and in the bar were very pleasant and helpful! All at a reasonabke price! Would definitely recommend.

It was ok. The rooms were clean and the service at a good level. But there was nothing that lifted this hotel from any other average swedish hotel.

Front desk people are helpful. Breakfast is having many options and very good.

Serviceminded personnel, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and ok room. The carpet was a bit smelly and the bathroom wasn't top notch. Beside that everything was great!

Have now stayed 3 times at the Spar Hotel Majorna. Each time has been pleasant. The rooms are small but great value and clean. The breakfast is great, equal to more expensive hotels. The hotel is a bit further from the city but the suburb Majorna it's self is an interesting part of Gothenburg.

Clean, nice loby, good breakfast, room is a little small but good for the price. Breakfast room also has a room for the kiddies so you can have breakfast in peace!

The hotel it self was nice, the rooms were clean. However, the staff didn't seem that friendly. The breakfast wasn't really great. Some off the goods they had were bough and wanted up. I recommend this hotel if your only staying a couple night, but if you are staying there for a couple of weeks I suggest to find some other place.

No oven, no kettle. Other things are very good.

Very clean and new rooms with a good and diverse breakfast (+ free Wi-Fi). Just don't really rely on the 'free parking' because there's only a rather small parking lot in the basement. If there are a lot of guests coming by car you'll have to park in the neighbouring streets. Easy access to city centre via the tram with a stop nearly in front of the hotel!

Perfect simple hotel for family vacations in Gbg. Nice staff, good parking fascility and overall neat and tidy rooms. The kids loves the breakfast which makes the rest of the day a little easier.

I was actually suprised by how nice and new the hotel looked. Clean rooms and great breakfast. Definetely well worth the price.
