It's 06.40 am and I'm in bed now. Hardly could sleep at all because this room is so hot I might as well had rented a sauna to sleep in. You pay this much for a family room so that you can be this extremely uncomfortable? Maybe it's nice and cozy in the winter but I assure you, staying here now in summer is extremely unpleasant.

Fantastic breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Small workout room with adjoining indoor pool. Downtown Gävle location. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Not as fancy as some other newer Clarion hotels, but still good. There is a parking garage for an extra charge. Normally I have always found nearby free street parking. Just beware about the strange Gävle winter parking season using odd/even days matching to odd/even address sides of street! (Ask reception for details to make sure you don't get ticketed or towed! )

Good hotel in central Gävle. Nice rooms that has no interference from traffic noice. The bar down stairs together with the restaurant is also a nice place to visit.

The hotel is nice, beds are good and breakfast is great. The pool is tiny. Most of the restaurant personnel is kind and polite. The reindeer dish was great.

Great place to stay if in Gävle. The staff here is very helpful, at one point I got my room upgraded to A suite and a free dinner as I had left my wallet at home. They really do go the extra mile to make you feel at home. There is a small swimming pool and a gym if you are so inclined. Great bar with loads of Absinthe drinks.

They didn't notify us that our room was "haunted" until I saw the pamphlet about it next to the room service menu. Good breakfast.

They were so kind to include a pamphlet about how my room was haunted by a ghost called Julia. Breakfast was good.

My favorite hotel in Gävle. Fair prices and nice rooms, they are however a bit dark. Good bar, breakfast and general service.

Hotel staff very helpful and polite. Rooms not very modern, but complete with everything and clean, maybe a little too hot (and I did not find where to lower the heating) but it seems quite common here in Sweden to keep the heats very high. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant with limited choice, but the burger was very good, open until 10pm. 30, very late hours to eat in Sweden. Well-stocked Bar and very large and cosy relaxation room.
