It could use a freshening up. Staff was excellent. Blue paint was on the bottom of our feet from pool in the villa. Enjoyed the food and entertainment.

We cannot fault this place. It was simply beautiful, the food was fantastic as was the service. There was nothing they couldn't help us with from steaming a dress to ordering taxi's, laundry service & giving us a packed breakfast for our early morning hike up the piton. The view from the restaurant and villas was stunning (from the hammock and lying in bed with the doors open). Really comfortable large beds. The seclusion of this resort is also brilliant. It's a fantastic location (5mins to town) as well feeling completely remote and silent when you want that. Highly recommend: The Fish Burger and the Jerk Chicken in the restaurant. I had the fish burger twice in one week. The home made jams with bread at breakfast. Visit the spa and have a swedish massage with Melanie. Enjoy a piton at sunset by the communal pool. We're active so used the gym, yoga studio and went for a run into the town, so it's amazing to have these facilities on site too. We will most definitely be back. Excellent doesn't do it justice.

A lush, quiet, and private retreat. Excellent accommodations at the foot of the petit Piton and the water. Loved the views, the privacy, peace, dipping pool, and the outdoor shower. Polite and friendly staff!

Good people work here. Get used to slow service on Island time. The beds are comfy and the living unique.

This place is absolutely beautiful, hands down! My husband & I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. Love our private pool. The staff was very kind & was very concern about out needs. The Mango Tree, that is located within the resort, 5 stars! We ate every meal there. We rented a car. Highly recommend that you do the same. The activities were not expensive when you drove yourself there.

So beautiful! Amazing place. Villas are spectacular and clean! Loved the outdoor showers and plunge pools. Manager Sadia is wonderful to work with. Larus and Quinn at the Mango Tree were so friendly. Service was wonderful. We rented a car and I highly recommend that to get around and see all the sites. We saw a lot of other resorts in the area and I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else!

Luxurious resort with romantic rooms, excellent restaurant, and outstanding views of the Pitons!

Absolutely Beautiful! That all I can say. We are planning another vacation there next year! The Mango Tree restaurant was delicious.

We stayed here for our honeymoon back in October. The resort is small but absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views of the petit piton and the Caribbean sea. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and attentive. Food was incredible. St. Lucia is a beautiful island and this is a wonderful resort to see it from.

Absolutely wonderful. My Wife and I stayed for a spring break vacation. The resort is perfectly located near all the great sites such as Dimond Falls, the volcano, the beach and Pitons. Our villa and private plunge pool were beautiful and the views are incredible. The food and entertainment at the restaurant and bar were outstanding and enjoyable. The service and staff was of the best we have ever enjoyed.

Whilst clearly not in the same price bracket as some of the much more expensive resorts on St Lucia, Stonefield is still not cheap, and the facilities are showing signs of neglect, and a lack of attention to detail. All of the pictures in our room had "slipped" within the frame, many of the bulbs did not work, and numerous light switches (as mentioned by an other guest) either didn't do what they were supposed to, or didn't do anything. The private pool was nice, but was peeling and needed re-painting. I know when previous guests have mentioned this sort of thing, management have responded that "The theme of our villas/resort is "rustic chic"". Sorry, you cant use this excuse for not getting the basics right, having attention to detail and keeping up standards. My wife noted the bathroom smelt slightly. She mopped the floor with a towel and it came up brown. The outdoor shower plug was blocked with hair when we arrived. The restaurant has a lovely view. As other guests have said the breakfast is minimal. With lots of option to up-scale from the inclusive breakfast. My wife has a gluten allergy which was never remembered. No Gluten free bread was offered and at every dinner and breakfast we had to remind; remember this hotel only has 16 rooms! Ditto some lunch to our room — 2 dishes specifically ordered as gluten free and one arrived wasn't. Food in the restaurant was nice enough, but service was very hit and miss.

Robbed While We Slept. We had an amazing trip ruined by a robbery on the last night, woke up on Sat. May 23 2015 to a robbed from room of the Villa, with the door shimmed wide open. All our cellphones, iPad, watches, Bose headphones, photos on the devices, and some money stolen. I have yet to hear from the Management after an over US$5, 000 trip, you tell me if this is a place you would want to spend your money. If I ever go back, Sugar Beach or Ladera is the place I would go and recommend family and friends to go. A guest gets robbed, and you don't follow up with them at all… I am at a loss and Stonefield has lost a return customer.

My wife and I honeymooned here in 2002. It was like being in the most beautiful movie about the most incredible honeymoon ever. For some things in life there are no words to convey true emotions and experiences. This place is one of those things.

December 2014. We have stayed at Lime Mill and enjoyed every minute! Amazing. Worth traveling around the globe. Great staff, great villas, great location, great. Hope to come back ss. Ometimes, ss. Oon :).
