It’s an ideal location for people who love quiet and a green environment. Good for family outing, specially good location for honeymooners ❤️, hotel is surrounded by mountains which gives a beautiful early morning look. It was a fantastic sunrise and this hotel is having 2 separated pool, which is actually really good, if you are checking in with full board you are getting access to infinity pool and day outing ppl will get the regular pool, that pool also really nice nothing to worry. End of the day this hotel and the location we can rate 10/10, I wished all the very best for there future and thanks a lot for your kind hospitality — mit Madhara Morawaka.

We had an absolutely unpleasant & a bad service from the hotel management & the other staff. Not supportive at all. Not recommend for any one.

We visited Purple Sun resort for their August offer which included lunch, sometime in the pool and the bunker camp activities, have to say the staff was very friendly even the instructors at the bunker camp were very friendly and welcoming even when we spent half the time whining about how we wont be able to do any of the activities but they were very patient and helpful and supported us a lot. The food was delicious and the hotel was very clean, even the pool, all in all it was a great experience Andrew Shehan Dissanayake Jayasithu Hewavitharana Sahani Peiris Dihan Dayasagara Aflaan Haleem.

Been there for two nights and I had the worst experience ever. Compared to the other hotels i’ve been stayed this is the worst place. No refrigerator in room, no mini bar, double bed is really small. When we asked to upgrade to a another room receptionist said that is not possible because rooms aren’t prepared yet and they will try to give. All the time they were lying on us. Bathroom is just an ordinary bathroom. It’s below acceptable. Even our houses have got better ones rather than that. Food is okay. But we are not going there again. Never ever.

Ideal for weekend getaway. Closer to Colombo. One hour drive. Nice environment, cool, calm. In the centre of Awissawella town. Nice pool and friendly staff.

Great place with spectacular views of nature. Quite and calm surrounding. Two great swimming pools.

Disappointed about service. We went there as family with two children and booked a premium room with private balcony. On the way received a call from a lady asking is it ok to have standard room with common balcony. We said no. On arrival no welcome drink or good welcome instead she tried hard to change over to another room saying that it is a room of higher category but they will give us to same rate. That room had one bed not enough space. She said they can give a mattress if need to be kept on the floor. The room we booked had good view and 2beds so we said we need that. We got it but felt as we were treated as staying there without paying. She treated us in a very unpleasant manner. Though they charged half rate for kids never concerned whether child ate or not. Our child didn't have some meals because he didn't have a choice. Buffet didn't have enough variety e. G. Fried rice with curries no plain rice. Another day kottu and hoppers only. In the places where we stayed earlier they checked what child wanted and tried to help at their best even non star class hotels. One dinner we had to order so we asked rice and curries for curry had to choose chicken or fish we ordered chicken chicken. Meal came as plain rice and chicken curry only. We called and asked what is this then they told it was a mistake and gave curries. Sometimes I had to ask for drinking water after meals. One day they off air conditioner while I was eating.

One of the best place I've ever been to. Nice climate and their food is tasty too. Rooms are with reasonable prices. Their Swimming pool is just amazing you should visit there if you get a vacation.

We are so happy that we selected this hotel for our wedding reception, first of all this hotel has a beautiful surrounding, service is excellent and crew is very frendly, and the management also very eazy to work with. They always give priority to our suggestions and also point out our mistakes and provide more suggestions to stay within our budget with their experience. Food was delicious and really loved it. And finally really big thank to all staff members who did their best to make our day unforgettable. Cheers …!
