Review of White VIlla Resort 3*

Overall review is very poor. Below average poorly maintained rooms. Food was average. (lunch was good but dinner was horrible. Absolutely beautiful location and a priceless land but the management need an A to Z change. The lady who managed the place was very helpful and cooperative. She tried her best to give us a good time. But the owners sister or sister in law (as we were told) had extremely poor management and social skills. She was extremely rude to us I felt like I was staying there for free. I don't know why people go there just to experience the rudeness. I have never come across such person in the hospitality sector in srilanka or even anywhere els. Best part is we went to a near by five start hotel for tea and shared this experience and apparently we were told that they treat locals in a bad manner like this for some time. So if you are local stay away from this place. If your a foreigner, owners sister might like you for your skin color. (not sure what will happen if your brown or black) Not to mention there was another guy (long unkempt hair and beard who was extremely rude from the beginning we were told he too was one of the owners brother or somebody but never had a smile in the face. Just to give a word of advice. People come for a holiday to relax and be happy not to see your rudeness and it doesn't matter who's sister or relative you are, treat all guest in the same manner and not to discriminate people. It showed how uneducated you guys were. Thankyou. P. S hope you guys will improve, as tourism is one area which can bring back srilanka from the deep pit we all are in. Good day!
