Overpriced for the facilities & the location, it's 7km away from the swimming beach/lagoon area (the free bikes may struggle to make it there in their condition! ). The grass garden with the rabbits is nice but be expected to be woken up by the sounds of nature as well as the dawn prayers from the local mosque. The $20 rooms have no door & no a/c, just a fan & a mossie net. It's kid of like staying in a beach shack but not near the beach. The owner seemed like a nice guy & was apologetic for our experience. To top it all off the water is connected to the electrics so the power was down when I woke up so I had to wait until the local staff member eventually took me to another room where the shower was working, subsequently we missed our train. Some of the showers have no doors (or privacy curtains) along with most of the rooms which give it more of a beach shack feel. We would've been better on the beach as at least they would have had water (even if it was salty! ).
It was just perfect. Great host. Good price. Loved it lots.

It might of been nicer in the separate room with proper doors. We stayed in a cheaper one (17$ a night) with shared roof, bathroom & toilet & only has some curtains instead of doors & it's one of the worst decisions we made during our Sri lanka trip. The pepple seem nice though, & the garden is lovely. Location is good for catching buses but far from the beach.
