It is located on a beautiful beach. The food and drinks are excellent. Once you arrive you are sure to come back.

I was there 11th Jan 2021 for FB basis. They well maintained their quality of cleaning, staff management & food quality. Staff were really friendly. Peace-full atmosphere. Everything was well arranged. Deluxe room was awesome. I just suggest they should have to add more salads Variety & international foods, sea food & dessert menu. Food was delicious & reasonable price too. Love W15

Great location, awesome food and very friendly staff.

Tried to book for a party because of its' location. When we get there staff weren't even slightest helpful. Feels like we're disturbing their leisure time (front office). Moved to next door marriot.

What a great, classy and welcoming hotel. It was my first visit and it absolutely won’t be my last. The best view from the pool I have ever had. 10 out of 10

We are at their restaurant and the food was amazing! Highly recommend this place for a quick bite or hanging out at the bar.

Good location & good cocktail — that’s all : ( The hotel is on the great location with lovely design, but not function. The shower in our room was broken, only can use the rain shower which couldnt adjust hot/cold water cause (again) it was broken. No hanging place or space you can put your toiletry at all in the bathroom. The room is very clean and new through. Food and cocktails are acceptable, however the service is very poor. I needed to ask for a menu for 3 times! And they forgot our order! We asked for some napkin during breakfast — again nothing came till we finished (only two tables at that time). Frankly speaking, I felt they paid attention to westerners than asians! Anyway, they were kind enough to allow us for one more hour late check out then (check out at noon, instead of 11am) At the bottom line, nice hotel but overrated prices which poor services.

Ideal location on Weligama beach, super cool vibe. Excellent food. Really family friendly with a lovely pool and a nice lawn.

Staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. It was our first trip with our 4 month old baby. We had an amazing time at this place! Thank you W15!

Credit to your staff who made our stay very special nothing is impossible for them. Food was amazing credit to the chef. Operations manager and the bar manager was very welcoming and friendly and made sure we had a great stay. Rooms was well equipped and modern. The guys who played the guitar and was singing during day time was great! And the views are amazing. Thanks.

Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our party took out 4 rooms at this place on full board basis. Out of the 4 rooms, 3 rooms had issues with the air conditioning during the entire stay. 2 rooms managed to get 2 fans which is unacceptable. As for the menu — they have only one menu with 4 choices of mains to pick from which is very basic and portions are very small. For breakfast, some of ordered Kiribath and what we got was white rice with milk. The only thing I can re…commend is the beautiful Weligama beach and the restaurant staff. They were very polite but kept telling us that their hands are tied because the management does not pay much attention to customer service or customer satisfaction. To top it off, we were promised a late checkout at 2pm. Instead, they came and told us at 11.15am that they need all 4 rooms in 15 minutes because the hotel checkout time is 11.30am. This is even though we were promised late checkout and had paid for lunch for the same day. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just went for lunch but it was a beautiful place and the food was lovely. Lovely setting with fabulous views out to sea.

Review based on food and sun lounger only. Spent the day here chilling and sunbathing. The staff are friendly, altho one of them too friendly for my liking — especially when you’re trying to relax. The price for using a sun lounger (which can be redeemed against food or drink) in my opinion is way too expensive — 2500rupees. Extra for a towel. The food was mixed. I had a very nice devilled fish and a very mediocre fish and chips. Great place if you want to relax and use a pool. Otherwise maybe slightly overrated.

Great place to sit on the beach or by the pool. They have luxury sun beds, attentive staff and great cocktails. The food was also very nice. There is a 2500 minimum spend per sunbed.

In all my time in Sri Lanka this was the best meal. It was sensational! Cool vibe and the beach setting tops it off! Staff are very very friendly and again, the food is insanely good! I had to find out the chef's name. Kasun, Thumbs up! I didn't stay though the premises are immaculate and the rooms look great. Would definitely stay here next time 100% cheers guys.

Posh hotel by the beach. We tried the restaurant which serves great catch of the day fish, and good cocktails, with a live DJ (a bit too loud if you're there for dinner / great fun if you're there for happy hour). Make sure to book beforehand!

Super plush hotel with all the amenities you'd need. It's right by the beach, has a great pool and tasty food — it is however pricey. The upside: you get what you pay for! If it's in your budget it will definitely be worth it.

A great hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms, a nice pool and tasty food. This is probably the best hotel in Weligama. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and beautifully designed. The balcony with the sea view is just astonishing. Included breakfast was good and the rest of the food in the restaurant was tasty as well.

Really nice atmosphere. The service from the crew was very good. The lunch that was served was great. Loved their signature dishes.

Trendy small hotel with nice food, a long bar, a fantastic beach esp. For trainee surfers and a great mix of plus-or-minus 30 year-olds. We had a blast.

We ordered a hookah here. We waited 40 minutes. Let's go remind myself. Only then he was brought. He was with a broken mouthpiece. We asked for another mouthpiece. Brought with the correct. Hookah put it on sand, Povozjukal, in a mouthpiece has beaten sand yet we have ordered a big hookah and to us have given out in times one and a half less.

Glamurnok the place, but when you order food, remember the 10% of the cheque another 14% of the presidential tax will be charged to you.

26% tax on top of the bill! Also they rounded up our bill to the nearest 1000 and would not produce a receipt after we had paid to show why there was an extra charge. Very dodgy business, would not recommend.

Dodgy staff who will rip you off! On the board it said "free cocktails for ladies" and the waiter told us ladies get free watermelon cocktails. I ordered one and my boyfriend ordered a different cocktail. We then ordered a beer. When the waiter asked us to pay, he didn't bring us the bill, just told us it was 2000. When we looked confused he said there was a 10% service charge (which is normal in Sri Lanka) and a government tax of 16%. We paid but asked for the receipt or written bill and they wouldn't give it to us claiming the machine is broken. Very dodgy. Don't support people trying to rip off tourists. Plenty of nice, honest restaurants in Weligama.

One of the best of the best in the island. Great location, good food, wonderfully great staff being not enough said, lavish and homely in one package, luxurious would not be enough to describe… Just one of the best experiences you could ever hope to have worldwide.

A beautiful hotel. Only went there for a drink. Had a nice hot chocolate and enjoyed the view. The sea and beach’s amazing down there.

Great place with nice vibes. More posh Bali style but still great atmosphere. Prices are obviously higher than other local places but not a big difference. The pool, the hammocks and the bar make it worth every rupee.

Great place the rooms are beautifully setout and comfortable, you enter W15 via the front of office and passing through the beautifully decorated seating area and bar on left, sun lounge on the right through to the sea, passing the pool in the middle of the eye line. And super space for the dance floor, slap bang in the middle. And DJ booth embracing the dance floor. How ever missing the much needed giant mirror ball and a quality sound system. The layout of the hotel is excellent. Beach front is equally impressive to surf and relax. Great place to hear and dance to good quality soulful house, disco, jazz funk space is set for a quality party athmosphire in a relaxed setting. Good food and the service is great. Will be back for more!

Elegant design. Beautiful scenario. Spacious and beautiful rooms. Management is helpful and great at guest relation servicing.

Came here for lunch on our way to Galle… Don't sit on the beach — you'll be eating and and everything's gonna blow over! The beetroot salad was not great, pretty salty actually… Not much flavour, needs acidity, really. The lamb patties were pretty good. Don't do the spicy chicken pineapple if you're looking for spice — actually again, there's no flavour at all. I think this place is good for drinks only.

Food is not the greatest, but good place to chill on the beach.

We arrived at W15 to the smell of raw sewage, which was being pumped at the entrance in the middle of the day. We sat down to the sound me of thumping music, no song just a beat! We flagged the waiter to come over although there was no other guests. We ordered a papaya juice and king coconut (of which they did not have for the second time, despite the island being covered with king coconuts) so I decided to go with a mango juice and asked for extra ice. The juices juices arrived, the papaya tasting 10% papaya and 90% of water. The mango came is with NO ice and bits of GREEN skin floating within it. It was sour. We asked the Dj to turn the music down, which he did not so we went for a surf. 2 hrs later we return to head bunglingly loud and untasetful music. We were hoping to stay for dinner but we did not because they refused to turn the music down even though we were the only customers of their day. Overall the staff were unhelpful, rude and very inattentive. The food and drink offer was average however the pool and scenery were great.

Thanks to Ashan and all of the team at W15 we were able to celebrate our engagement in a peaceful and serene little piece of paradise. This hotel has a limited number of rooms which means that the service is outstanding and the pool is usually empty. The pool is the best pool I swam in whilst in Sri Lanka with Crystal clear water and a view of the ocean. I'd say this is the best hotel in Weligama but in all honesty it was my favourite out of all the places I stayed in Sri Lanka. We stumbled across W15 because we were staying at a near by hotel which was extremely disappointing — they really saved our holiday.

Disappointed! The room was lovely apart from the really noisy aircon unit we had to turn it off to sleep. The front of house were great — but the rest of the service was terrible. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I asked for a drinks menus 3 times and still had to get it myself. At dinner we didn't have dinner plates to eat off (had to use sides) — they were too busy avoiding eye contact. No serving spoons, no finger bowls (we were eating BBQ seafood). I just got impression that I wasn't 'cool' enough but could afford the $$ to stay in a mediocre establishment. Wouldn't recommend.

Clean rooms, close to the beach, good music /DJ (Bose speakers), helpful staff, good pool and good food, with all that good they needed full payment from all of us for the stay. Took nearly an hour before they gave us the keys to the room this issue upset some guests who could not enjoy all the good. : (

Great location seaside with beautiful deco and lovely amenities. Rooms are great and its on the beach. Excellent if not for the noise levels from the road.

Well maintained place with marvelous beach access. Great pool too. Amenities and food are good. However, don't take rooms (like number 7) near the road. The traffic sounds are loud.

Visited the Restaurant — great cook, great staff, most beautiful place in Weligama. Hotel seems to be new.

We found this place as we were strolling along the beach. Thank god we did. Definitely the nicest place in Weligama with a feel of Bali. Try the devilled chicken — super tasty. Had a chat with one of the MD's Prashant as well about the plans for the next few years. Don't miss this as you are planning a trip to the Sri Lankan coast in the future.

Opened 2 months ago this is the only nice restaurant on Weligama Beach. We were not disappointed. The staff is super friendly and allowed us to buy alcohol outside since they don't have their liquor license yet. Food is fresh and homemade. We hung around after dinner lounging and listening to the waves feet away from the water.
