Absolutely wonderful place! Excellent rooms, great service and super yummy food. Their Tableau experience is top notch! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a luxurious, pampering stay. And definitely remember to try their floating breakfast — such a treat! Cape weligama is heaven on Earth. Spectacular from all angles, beautiful and unique. The staff, service and atmosphere were nothing short of exceptional and all of this just made our evening just amazing! The friendliest and most kindest people work here and we had the best time with them. We hope to come back to visit again soon!

this resort is! Such stunning views and beautiful villas with lovely decor. We were travelling with our young son and the staff were SO friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The chef was also great and the food was wonderful! We would recommend 100% to anyone and everyone wanting a relaxing and luxurious getaway in Sri Lanka. Probably one of the best of its kind! 5 stars.

Truly amazing! Relaxed atmosphere. Super service. It’s perfect for any type of visit. Facilities, hospitality, surroundings & everything to the tiniest detail was amazing & beyond our expectations. Amazing facilities. Gym, spa, two restaurants, club bar, a big room, fabulous infinity moon pool & another length pool. Outside there’s a big balcony with lounge seating. 5 star all the way! Best view of the sea I’ve been so far in my life!

The staff is very courteous and very friendly. In our group we had a disabled person and the staff was very helpful in moving the person. The chef table food was fantastic.

I came for lunch at The Surf Bar and it was just wonderful. Very beautiful laid-back place where you can just spend hours enjoying your meals/drink and relax. Staff were very friendly and courteous. If your drink isn't up to expectation, they will gladly replace with one that suits. I also managed to have a peek at one of their top-end villas (I think it was Premier Ocean Villa). Paradise for high-end travelers seeking Relais & Chateau landmark.

This is the top luxury resort you can find in Sri Lanka. The rooms were awesome, very spacious. Each 3 room/villa share a pool and there are 2 comunal pools. The main pool had an amazing view. Our villa was called ocean view villa, however there was a very partial view of the ocean. The view and the rooms was definitely the best part of our stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very expensive for Sri Lanka. The food was not great for the price we paid. The breakfast was average. I’d recommend the place as this was the best I’ve seen in Sri Lanka.

Nice resort but expensive for Sri Lanka. No private beach, although a public beach is reasonably close (walking distance). The restaurants are good and the staff are friendly. The cookery class is a great way to have a leisurely lunch (you don’t actually have to do any cooking). The Spa is also good and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are also a couple of peacocks roaming around, which you will probably spot during your stay. Overall reasonable value, if not a cheap resort.

I can't even put into words how wonderful this hotel is. The location for one is out of this world, on top of a cliff looking out onto the Indian Ocean. The infinity salt water pool is just magical. The staff literally will do anything to help you and as you move around the resort they will ask you if everything is ok and is there anything they can do for you. The food is excellent, varied, tasty and beautifully presented. I absolutely loved this hotel and it is definitely my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. I would recommend this hotel 100%. We only had 2 nights here, I could have stayed forever.

This is one of my favorite beach vacation hotels. Our villa was huge, well appointed and wonderful staff. Dying to go back and take in the views!

Such a great hotel I have ever been.

It is just sublime — stunningly beautiful location, amazing facilities — gym / activities centre, spa, two restaurants, club bar, fabulous infinity moon pool and another lengths pool. Villa accommodation is gorgeous with a huge double-king bed, sofa, desk, bathroom as big as a lounge, separate dressing area and shower plus steam room. Outside there’s a big balcony with lounge seating / low-level table and a dining table + chairs. This was part of my Walkers Tours / Thomas Cook itinerary and I only have 2 nights here — but it would definitely be on my “come again” list!

Spent my mini moon here and was spectacular — even though we didn't get to enjoy half the activities because of a cyclone.

Breathtaking view, exceptional service and amazing food was exactly what we wanted to celebrate our engagement with a few of our closest family and friends. Whole experience at Cape Weligama was beyond our expectation. What a beautiful property they have here! To compliment it we experienced some of the best service we've received from any resort we've been as the staff were so warm, welcoming and attentive. Special thanks goes to Chandima and Ajantha from the management for accommodating our unique requirement. With regards to food, you're in for a real treat here as it was excellent with a wide variety (dishes kept coming in and when we thought it was the end, it continued) Our guests are still commenting on food. We got a complimentary villa for the day which was luxuriously spacious with a private pool area. We will definitely come for a stay during our next visit back home. Thanks Cape Weligama for the wonderful experience!

Amazing hotel! Excellent location and service.

This is truely a special place. With only 39 villas at this cliff top resort, their focus on quality over quantity for all aspects of hotel operations is second to none. All the food is made in house with some of the best croissants and local ingredient jams you could find outside of France. And that magnificent view from almost every point of resort is breathtaking.

Spacious elegant rooms, superb views and great dining. Just around the corner from one of the few uncrowded surf spots in the Weligama area. Surf check during breakfast. Great (private) cooking class! Spa is not the best and rather overpriced. Don't miss out on the complementary high tea!

This is a Great & Super Place for Everyone. Can watch Television. Can take good and fresh meals. Friendly Staff. Parking place is okay.

Love this place, staff are all incredible, the cooking class we requested was fantastic. Our butler Namal has been awesome (recommend you request him) Our villa is amazing. Food delicious. They looked after our daughters food so well (21 months old) they have all our favourite Dilmah teas and wine selection is superb. We hope to return with friends. Until then we have another three days of total relax before we leave. Highly recommend a visit, we have stayed at a reasonable amount of 5+ star resorts and this would be our favourite. No hidden surprises just excellence.
