Had a fabulous weekend at this beautiful boutique hotel. Room was so comfortable and amazing outdoor bathroom. Staff were superb. Can highly recommend.

Had a great stay at handun villas. Good customer support and delicious food. Pool side and beach side both are very calm and cool, manager and the owner of the company provided us a fabulous stay. Room is very clean and beautiful, in additionally bathroom is perfect to open to the natural air. Great villa experience in Handun Villas.

We had an amazing and unforgettable experience in Handun Villas. Room were spacious and we loved the beautiful outdoor bathroom. Garden was well maintained and foods were delicious. We had a wonderful BBQ night at the beach. Thank you Ms. Nayomi, Mr. Gallage and the other staff members for their great hospitality. This is by far the worst accommodation experience I had during my 15 years of travels to different parts of the world. The villa itself is nice, beautiful and spacious, the non-English speaking staff is also nice and are always trying to help to the extent of their possibilities. But the management is the worst, they are liars and thieves. We made a two-week reservation to stay here, because we thought it was good. We did not like it and wanted to check-out a week earlier, but the management simply rejected our request, saying that we have to deal with Agoda which we used to make the reservation. We contacted Agoda, they we willing to change our check-out date, and guess what, the management refused their request as well. There is no policy regarding the check-out date change, neither at Agoda, nor at the hotel, they just don’t want to lose that amount of money. And you, a guest, a tourist and a human being should just stay there a prisoner, be angry and unhappy or lose your money, because… because of the reason apparently, which is not the right way to conduct business or be a host. We were constantly alone on this villa, we were possibly their only guests, although they would deny it. We did not like the loneliness we felt there and the lack of activities.

Love this small boutique hotel. Staff are Superb, relaxed and super friendly. Set in walled gardens with peacocks wandering about and a stones throw to one of Sri Lanka’s greatest beaches (swimming mainly at one end though due to frisky waves) — a quiet spot if you prefer to be away from the crowds. A good beach bar/restaurant (Zephyr) just over the road and a couple of chilled shanty beach cafes along the stretch of beach which are lovely (pot of tea on the beach, no problem). Great pool/lounging area and comfortable rooms with air con and sort of ok Wi-fi (it is a fairly far flung corner of the country! ). On my list of places to stay next visit.

Beautiful place. Clean and large rooms with a nice outdoor bathroom. Nice pool are. Beautiful palm garden with many wild birds. Breakfast Service was a little slow but food was good! Beach is just across the street. I would come again.

A truly amazing stay at Handun Villas. A friendly welcome and always with a smile. At our arrival we had Sri Lanka curry and it was so delicious. We then tried this dish and many other dishes at different locations but the one at Handun Villas was by far the best. Actually all the dishes that we had at Handun villas were excellent. By far the Best Cuisine in Sri Lanka. The pool was clean and in beautiful surroundings. Nice four poster beds in air conditioned rooms and beautifully decorated. At Christmas Eve a local dance group came as a surprise gift for us and one very hot day they cut down coconuts and gave us to drink, very refreshing. We will come back and truly recommend Handun Villas.

Fabulous place to relax with a huge private gardens and great service! This is a newly built property and the inrerrior is very well done. Superb lighting in the room and bath. Huge bath with open space reminds me of luxury villas in Maldives. A small but well maintained swimming pool facing the massive garden gives a feeling of swimming in a private pool. Excellent service gave us even better experience with made to order food. A tender coconut (Kurumba) served at the pool on request made this relaxing weekend of ours a memorable one!

Excellent place and recently opened property and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best in Talalla I have experienced. Good food in addition to all the other hot and cold items. Had adequate parking for all guests. This place is child friendly environment. My kids enjoyed the nice greenish environment outside the hotel and Talalla beach cross the road. They even have Peacocks roaming around the hotel which was nice. I'll be back to this place and highly recommend to others when in the area.
