Great buffet! Food taste great thanks to the chef. Specialised in Indian food. Staff should be trained welcoming, greeting and when dinning. Some staff have very poor English knowledge. Improvements needed in property cleanness. Balconies not been serviced for a long. Glasses are not sparkly. Shower with stains. Corridors front of the rooms not been vacuumed. Requested but not been done though. Not so happy with the bedding covers and towels. Could have used conditioner. If the above can be fixed this can be a great hotel as food at the very best among Kandy hotels. We will return to the hotel for sure if the above can be fixed.

A great hotel just away from the busy Kandy town it takes only seven minutes drive from the town The road is carpeted very helpful staff around.

The management team is very friendly and supportive. You did a great work behind the scene we know that ❤️👌.
Specially "Mr Vimukthi " in the hotel banquet staff gave us a great support in our event.
The food was superb, and thank you Mr Prasnna the Executive Chef.
And a special thing to remind they have undertaken so much of safety measures during this pandemic situation (COVID 19) in the sake of their guests.

Lovely place… Very friendly environment for a family get together.

We had a small function at Golden Crown and the the staff at the Brix restaurant was super friendly and nice. Especially Mr. Eranda at the restaurant served us a small dish on the house and checked up if anything was required every now and then. We felt home and honored by his gestures. Also the chef was humble enough to come and speak to us as well. Highly recommending the Brix restaurant for any of your dine in requirement!

I stayed in the hotel only for one night and it was for a wedding. All the staff was friendly and helpful with everything. Me myself being in the same industry I can’t help myself with judging service standards at any property. I am happy to tell that this hotel does serve up to all the service standards and all the staff members are giving an excellent service!

Hey very good place service oriantal staffs I went for my sister wedding last sunday. How ever we forget car sheet to carry our baby. While time pass baby went for deep sleep and we strugle to keep her in a safe silnet place. Suddenly the staff reacted and brought a sofa chair from the lobby to dineing area and arrange a safe bed for my kid. Thats really appricated the leval of thinking of the incharge manager and the staffs. Hatts off to you. Keep. It it the good work. Wish you all the best. Cheers.

Lovely hotel, room and pool great. Staff friendly, the choice of food was amazing. The gym was also brilliant for a hotel gym. Special thank you to the staff for the lovely cake that you brought up to our room for my daughters birthday.

Very nice hotel just a shame no one is using it but its very grand and the evening buffet was superb. Kandy is a lovely place to visit and if you do stay at this hotel, you won’t be disappointed and we have stayed at loads around the world.

Contrary to the last post I saw on this and in agreement with most of the comments on here I have to say this was a truly wonderful experience. The staff in the restaurant could not have been more helpful and attentive to us and made our stay truly memorable. Too many people to mention. The food was also incredible and I loved that all the chefs were in the restaurant serving their food. They even walk the room checking all the food is still of high quality and you are happy with it. The hotel is relatively new and very Grand and we had an amazing room with a lovely view over the lush Sri Lankan jungle area. We even had a jacuzzi in the room to rest weary bones after a day climbing the temples. Though it would be hard not to have a good view here as we are in a hilly area surrounded by amazing views. Totally great place to relax and have as a main base to visit all the surrounding attractions. Furthest we ventred was only 3 hours away by car and the hotel driver was fantastic. Trips to the elephant orphanage, Sigiria rock to name a few. We took the same hotel driver each time and he was amazing giving us guided tours on the way. Definitely worth a second visit soon.

Stunning hotel with amazing, spacious rooms and very impressive decor overall. Was a bargain really and totally worth it for us. The staff is very friendly and you get a good feel of staying between the hills. We went on August when there was some rain and woke up to a view of clouds covering the hills around us. Highly recommend.

Perfection is the title of the hotel. The perfect place to enjoy your vacation. You name it. The weather, location, view, hospitality. Etc I recommend it to anyone who wants to indulge himself and live the memories.

The hotel, as a building is absolutely perfect. I stayed in a nice room on the 3rd floor. Good spa-massage, good restaurant and nice view of the forest. But I think the hotel needs to be organised better as a hotel in it's class. When I checked in, my room was not ready and the housekeeper was still cleaning. When I went to the bar, there was no staff there and they called the barman from the restaurant to serve us. In our toilet the face-mirror was broken… So nice hotel to stay but needs work for my 5 stars.

The wedding reception hall roof is fabulous. Great location for a function. Since it is a new place, the contldition is good. Food is aesthetically pleasing. However food is not the best but above average in taste.

A newly opened luxury hotel built on the outskirts of Kandy. It has a very grand Lobby which is extraordinarily large. The rooms are very spacious. There is a huge function room on the top floor with a roof garden with extraordinary views of the surroundings. In the dining room, where there is a buffet dinner, the dessert has the wonderful and colourful creations from the pastry chef – just look in the photographs.

Nice and big rooms but I was expecting more from the service. The pool is super small. The room service reception did not know English. First day they got us wrong order, the order time they didn't even deliver anything at all. The hand soap in our bathroom were empty the whole stay. They didn't put any new toilet paper roll until we called the reception. The breakfast was quite bad due to the fact that everything was empty and they didn't refill. They were even out of drinking glasses every day on our stay. I would expect more from a hotel in this class.

One of the upscale hotels in Kandy. Nicely designed, constructed and decorated. My family and I were absolutely pleased with our experience. The room was spacious, beautiful and extremely comfortable. The food options were plentiful and of high quality and the service from beginning to end was top notch. The Banquet hall was amazing, and their latest night club looked great. Children really enjoyed the games room and their well equipped gym. The pool looked great too but could not used due to heavy rains. We also arranged a transport to go around and the driver was exceptional. He looked after us so kindly, that we felt like dear friends by the end of the trip. This is definitely a highly recommended hotel in Kandy.

The Hotel is a very good place to stay n very very clean room and the staff were very friendly n helpful. I would recommend that you stay at this hotel and enjoy everything they provide. The food too was very good. Congrats Sales n Marketing in winning the Vesak kudoo competition n well done to the other teams too.

Myself along with couple of my friends stayed at this place on full board basis on 14th April 2018. To start we were never given a proper knowledge on the hotel locations such as the restaurant etc. Next in the restaurant there were no tags for most of the food items and in the live station they were grilling chicken, beef and pork in the same grill and using the same utensils for all the items whereas pork is prohibited in our religion. We complained a responsible person in the restaurant about this issue and he said this to the General Manager of the restaurant and whereas he never came to sort out this issue and the chief chef of the restaurant came to us after the complain was lodged to him and we explained him what happened and he apologized from us stating that this is the first time this issue has come up and this will not repeat in future. But today I read a review and whereas another customer too has stated out the same issue which is prevailing in this hotel. I don't recommend anyone who expects halaal foods to visit this place and also I don't recommend anyone to visit this place at any cost due to the poor service given by them to the clients.

Good Hotel but cheap client vehicle security park and unfair and poor client complain process. When you park at the hotel B1 section or when give your key to front vehicle management section. Be careful and think 2 wise about your vehicle security. My car driver side window had broken 27th of nov 2017 in b1 section. When I make complain to hotel management. Only thing they said to me. Their security section had no any security issue. Everything good. Yes everything will be good unless my window had not broken. Thank you.
