Wonderful calm place and really delicious foods.

We had a birthday celebration today and the Bday cake they have prepared was wonderfully presented & absolutely delicious. Refreshing mocktails, plus the lunch buffet was also totally worth the price. Had a good variety of tasty dishes and desserts. 🔴 But I need to add this point, Your waiters and waitresses definitely need more training. Taking plates straightly across the faces, asking the guests to remove cutlery from the plates, no water refills to glasses etc. Except those stuff, everything else was very pleasant and nice. 👍

Room Quality — Overall poor room quality 1). Very Poor Wifi Signal Strength. Sometimes we exped no signal 2). Door key card was not working. They gave us manula key to open the door. 3). AC and TV remotes have dead batteries. AC remote batteries are crushed. 4). Water comes out from Shower Cubicle because the Cubicle does not close properly. 5). Shower head and bidet shower not working properly. 6). Cannot control shower hot and cold water 7). Some plug points are not working. Food Quality — Overall Good Quality Good — 1). Food taste is good. 2). Good Variety of food Bad — 1). Food refill time is too long. Had to inform them to refill the food and waited long time till they refill. Swimming Pool — 1). I don’t belive that pool water is in good condition. There were small insects and we found even dead creatures.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Delicious food. We had a quality time there. Highly recommended!

This is the worst hotel I have visted. Cleanliness of wash room is very poor and no hair dryer placed in or out side of it. I was not showered properly instead, water flows out of the cubicle making the entire bathroom to a pond. The worst thing I experienced is keeping us outside the dinning area at the breakfast saying no seats. Waited 30min and after an argument, only we got a table (5kids n 1 pregnant mother with us)

Five star service … friendly staff. Well balanced delicious meals… spacious rooms… huge pool… beach front … I Visited the hotel on a weekend. Since we are vegetarians, I inquire about meal options from the reception. They immediately introduced me to their manager, Mr. Kasun and he assured me that we will be taken care of. So when I went for the dinner, he came and introduced me to the chef, Mr. Roshan. The chef personally take me through every item in the buffet and shown what we can eat. Then he asked us to tell him if we need any more items. It was a great experience since this was the first time ever I met people with such commitment towards serving guests. meals were perfect, even for a vegetarian or a vegan, there were so many options… Large rooms facing the beach and large pool area let me feel free and very comfortable … Highly reccomend the location…!

The stay at jie jie was one of fantastic memories of mine. All meals were super tasty and had a large variety of foods. There were so much dessert varieties which were super delicious. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Specially the karoke night was super cool and we enjoyed it very much. Pool was so spacious and really nice. And I wanna give a big thank to the staff member who found my gold ring which I have fogotten in the room when we were checking out. I didn't know that I have forgotten it until they came to me and asked about the ring. I really really appreciate your honest staff and thanks again for the person who found it as I couldn't personally thank him. With all of these, I highly recommend this place for a relaxed stay. Love this place. ❤️❤️

Hotel not so good budget hotel. Dinner buffet was good. But breakfast nothing to eat much. We had an issue in the hot water shower we made a complain but they never checked. No safety measures are taken which is mentioned in the web. Not even simple temperature check. No sanitizers in the common areas. There were list of safety rules mentioned in the Jetwing web but not a single rule followed by this hotel.

Jie Jie was the first place we went out after the lock down and had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. Staff were super friendly as always and we felt really safe due to all the health measurements taken by them. Must mention sales manager Rajiv and restaurant staff who made our visit a really memorable one, going the extra mile to make sure we are treated really well and safely. Would certainly recommend Jie Jie to anyone to stay, enjoy and dine safely at these times.

Delicious food, they had large variety of food. Very clean and all the facilities are up to the standards. Staff is very friendly and helpful all the time. Very quick service. Marvelous sea view as they captured the maximum. We had enjoyed a lot. Highly recommend their service. Thanks for the hotel management and all staff. Hope to visit another time. ❤️

It's a beautiful place for a relaxing getaway. Good food! Soothing music! It could be great if guests could get more engaging activities and have an opportunity to atleast sing.

It was our first stay over at Jetwing. We had an amazing time with our family which is having Superb hospitality & Excellent service. The Buffet was superb with delicious foods & had lot of varieties in all three buffets.

Situated in the beach front. Just open the back door and you are stepping in to the beach. Nice and long swimming pool and a baby pool. Food is good, but not lot of variation. Rooms are good. Kids can enjoy in the back yard and not much recreational activities found. They offer day-out packages as well for a reasonable rate.

A good hotel with a friendly staff. Front office/reception staff is providing an admirable service, should mention that. You may find deluxe rooms are small in size, however ambience is pretty good, nice, clean and tidy. Good food, specially quality and quantity wise, it’s worth the price you pay. Can recommend for short stays.

Place is very convenient & close to Panadura town. But hotel staffs' attitudes towards locals are very poor & service level are low. Limited collect of Buffet verities & food is average. Service is no way close to 4 star level.

The hotel is very close to Pandura town and the railway station. This is a new hotel with spacious rooms and a big lobby. As the hotel was so close to the railway track, sounds of trains can be disturbing, especially during the night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast buffets were average with a decent number of items, but the food was very tasty :). Overall a good experience for the most part, but there are things that can be improved. A splendid view of the beach!

The location is quite good. The service of the staff varies, helpful front desk but horrible pool side staff. The housekeeping takes ages to respond to requests. The food was quite good though. The room was clean and I enjoyed a lovely view but the air conditioning was atrocious! I am not sure I'd visit again to be honest, but for a one time stay, it was ok.

This place is ideal place for a beach lover. The hotel back side face to the beach without any barriers like fence. Hench it gives very open and pleasureful feelings. Banquet hall also in good condition. Service giving by employees also in a better condition. It is easy to convenient to the hotel because it is more closer to Colombo. By using Southern Highway, anyone can come to hotel in less time. Thank you.

It's a nice place to stay. Peoples are very cooperative. Quality of foods are excellent. Scenic beauty from see facing rooms are beautiful.

Location is perfect but hotel staff for local guest poor service specially Room service and other some of staff. Also buffet varieties very poor and foods are not tasty. Customer service is used in business as a technique for establishing good rapport with customers. The intention is to keep customers satisfied so that they return for more goods and services.

I attended a wedding ceremony at this hotel. The food was terrible and house flies were commonly seen everywhere around the place — even in your food. The entrance is close to the railway line which is quite dangerous but security personnel are deployed to assist your way through the railway lines.

A buffet breakfast is served daily at the property. Staff really nice and helpful. Can recommend this place.

Very calm and quiet place, facing the Indian ocean with a fantastic view. Good to spend your leisure time with family. Good food with variety.

The hotel is good, you can safely go. As for Asia, everything is sterile clean, by our standards-understaffed, but try to) the choice of food is good, for every taste, loved the desserts. The staff is very attentive, even sometimes intrusive. The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean.

The location is good, the beach could be cleaner, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean not great, but OK, the hotel is solid 4 but for Asia is a good level.

The hotel has very good food in the restaurant. Linen is changed in a day. The rooms have a kettle and tea and coffee. Give one bottle of small water. There is also an ironing board in the room. I was told that there would be toothpaste, slippers, but we were given only bathrobes. All the experience of the hotel spoils the nearby (literally 10 meters from the hotel) railway. Trains run in 10-15 minutes with a strong rumbling. The hotel is mostly Chinese, Ko Walnut Lodge overlooking the ocean. Russian-speaking, Ukrainians other peoples from the former USSR zasaljajut on the side of VC. Road. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Pojetomute, who badly says PR-Snglijski, it is difficult to communicate. I will not go to this hotel any more.

It's a decent place near the beach which maintains the general Jetwing standards. Not a huge area. But cozy and classy. Also has all the facilities you need for a vacation. Food was also satisfiable, in sense it was good. Room was comfortable. Clean and tidy. Balcony was not properly arranged though. Staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Couldn't find much locals here. I guess hotel is targeting a Chinese and Korean clientele as well as middle east since the crowd was from those countries. In a nutshell, it was a good and pleasant stay at JieJie. And was worth for the price.

Food was lovely and the room was definitely with a stunning view. But what stood out the most was the hospitality and the service given by the staff. From the room service to the waiters to the management, the service was outstanding. Would visit again for sure.

There are some omissions, and in general good! The staff were very friendly and the room was clean.

A hotel managed by Jetwing. Food is simply great and the staff is welcoming. Weekend buffets have quite large spread of food varieties, completely worth for the money. This is a beachfront property with a pool as well as access to sea for a good bath in the morning or evening.

Easy access from colombo. Ample parking available. Rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Food is really good on both occasions we went. Pool is really nice. Kids enjoyed baby pool as well as the far end of the main pool where kids can enjoy under direct supervision. Clean and spacious beach. Good place for getaway with family and friends. Sea can be rough time to time, seek advice before a sea bath.

Same as other hotels in jetwing line I don't like this place. Just one building and it is like a housing flat in a urban area. They mainly focus on Chinese guests than any other guest. Their service is also not much good. They have a nice beach and sea which is able to do surfing even. But they don't have any interest to keep the beach clean. Actually no any elegant look into experienced before in cinnamon hotels. It is like a construction site.

Went for dinner with a few mates on a weekday. We ordered off the a la carte menu. The food was terrible though it was cheap. The service was pretty good.

This is an awesome place. Ideal for weekend getaway. Booking available. Credit card payments also available here. Free Wi-Fi available. Rooms are clean, also available Flat screen TV's. Also suits have minibars, and tea and coffee making facilities as well. Each room and suit have balconies with either ocean or garden views. Supportive rooms service also available here. Food is good. Chinese restaurant is pretty good. One thing they should improve is Taking good care of customer satisfaction.

It's a Jetwing hotel, so you still get the service but I wouldn't rate the location, the food and the quality of the facilities anything beyond 3/5. It's built by Chinese and looks and feels like Chinese. Good spread of food at the restaurant but only a few items hit the spot in terms of taste.

Nice hotel, polite staff, but as for the new places are not well maintained, lots of bent loungers around the pool and on the beach, broken tables, glass in the sand. The food is good, but the selection is not very large, for dinner, drinks not included. The rooms are cleaned every day, the hotel has 80% of tourists are Chinese, 1% Europeans and the rest Indians and impurity.

All the while, well-fed.

After we booked online they added additional charges. They cheat for us. We didn't ask sea view room. But they gave us sea view. Then get money for that. And additional charges. Don't go to this hotel. They're cheaters.

It is a new hotel compared to thr rest of the jetwing hotels. Stayed for one night on half board basis, 2 meals, dinner and breakfast. Its a beach hotel in the southern costal belt and you can really enjoy the sunset. The hotel is not an aesthetic location and no any beautiful surrounding for a person to enjoy, other than the sea. Prices were in par with other well known 3-4 star hotels, However the food was average and not much items/variations were there to select in the buffet. Breakfast optios were minimum too. Meat and seafood menus were also minimum and not up to a satisfactory level. Rooms were good and comfortable and the pool is alsi large. Its an average place with less scenic beaauty and moderate level food and good and supportive staff.

This is a newly built hotel located next to the beach. The rooms, staff and their service is very good. Only downside is the food and menu lacks a bit of variety. They have a restaurant that suits Chinese guests. That could due to the owner being a chinese. But the premises is managed by Jetwing.

Beds are not comfortable. Have garden view & sea view rooms; but garden view does not have a garden. Even no carpets at bathroom. Below are images of standard rooms. Is this maintained by Jetwing.? I dnt believe so.

Good hotel by the beach. Welcomed well. Taken care from the hotel staff well. Talking about the rooms, very comfortable, be vigilant to look up as the shower flows like rain. Dryers in each room has. But some don't operate the heat as expected. Dining had a wide spread of warieties. Entertainment has a pool table karaoke and other activities. The down fall when entering and exiting is the railway track, which Is a blind spot from and to the road adjoining the hotel. It will be tough if vehicles at the entrance at the hotel. As a 46 or 32 bus comes. And noice not used to trains or allergic.

Not big, but very cozy hotel, the only minus-no nursery or children's Playground. Not far away there is a local market and a supermarket.

Newly built hotel and a great location. Friendly staff I would say. Also we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite probably coz they were out of deluxe room. Honeymoon suite is massive with a round bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi (bathroom didn't have curtains, beware! ). Food was average, and they actually have a very good coffee menu in the bar, suggest to try it. All in all, good experience for an economical budget.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. F&B is very good — if you can get it… Hotels focus is tour groups and they have no clue as to how to feed or cater to the individual traveller.

It's a nice place and the facilities are good. I am currently staying here but I wish that staff people were more attentive especially now when hotel is empty. I'm lying on the beach and if I need to make an order there's no waiters to come and take the order I have to walk always to the lobby. Tried to order wine it took me about an hour as they were unsure what type of wine they have, so at the end I had to make my way to the bar where they store it and figure out what wine is available at the moment. Another thing that might disappoint you it's when they'll bring your bill: expect to pay around 30 percent more from the price mentioned in the restaurant/bar menu. However it is only mentioned 10 % percent service charge and taxes. : (Apart from these things, it's a very good relaxing place.

Food is the best positive thing here. 5 stars for food. But cleanliness is poor. Rooms are not clean enough. Build quality & the finishing is not good. Very boring place. Room service also poor. Had to give 5 calls and waited about few hours to get some water bottles.

Just returned from 6 nights and loved every minute. From the moment you arrive they treat you like 5* guest. We were upgraded to beachfront room and view was spectacular. The room was luxurious and large with everything you could wish for. Good English speaking TV channels and lovely quality room service food at a good price. One tiny personal thing, the bed was too firm for me, but my Husband didnt mind it at all. I am a bit of a soft bed girl though.

A beautiful hotel with a sprawling beachfront. Ideal for weekend getaways as it is not far from Colombo. Super sumptuous buffet spread. Avoid swimming in the sea as it is pretty dangerous since a reef runs parallel to the seashore. Instead use the hotel swimming pool.

I stayed 2 days in Jie Jie beach with my family (17 April to 19 April 2017). Jie Jie is the worst hotel I had been to. I got six meals from them but they had only 2 buffet meals. For the rest, we had to had, what they offer. Very disappointing. Unpleasant staff. When I inquired on this regard from Chef, he is blaming his management. Finally they reined our vacation. It is a black dot for Jet-wing too. I had been to no of Jet-wing hotels, but this can mark in very very low standards. Apart from above the 2 buffet they offer also very poor and no differences between them.

The rooms are good, with adequate facilities such as Wi-Fi and a mini fridge. However, the noise of the trains going past can wake up light sleepers if you take the rooms that are facing the road. The service was excellent and the food was mediocre. There aren't many activities that were available at the time of our visit, the pool wasn't very inviting either. The hotel uses solar panels and uses recycled water for the gardens. Overall, it's a great budget friendly hotel to getaway from the rush of life in Colombo and rest for a day.

A well designed hotel. Rooms are nice and comfy. Nice view of beach to almost every room. Board rooms conference rooms with a refreshment room for the VIP. Not many varieties in the buffet.

At the hotel restaurant, the menu indicates that 10% of the cost of meals is included in the total! And it's not 10% of the cost, it's 28%. (A photograph of the check is added to the photo)
There were incidents from the hotel, but the staff are going to meet and any complaints are trying to smooth out. For example, at the Last Supper at the hotel we made 50% discount, as an apology.
All beaches in Sri Lanka, public, so often buying in the ocean, can meet localities that offer some kind of excursions or just trips to the city.
