Had the dinner buffet this Saturday! Foods was very tasty and so delicious! The staff was very friendly and had lots of varieties of foods too! Specially the seafood corner was awesome! Had a very good service and would like to highly recommend this hotel for the diner buffet!

Midnight buffet not recommended. No softdrinks. Just mains and desserts. No cutlery were available even to serve the food. Terrible service. Had to wait a long time to get a glass of water even.

Had a good time on 31st night with music of marians & freeze. Dinner Buffet was ok but expected more food varities on it for an example prawns, pork etc Early Breakfast was dissapointing as food were not sufficient as some dishes such as chicken pieces were not there. Food was too spicy too. Coffee, tea were available but not enough to fill a cup. So for the price of the ticket entertaitment provided was brilliant but food could have been better.

Went for a high tea buffe today because we wanna try it also its trending and famous among all social media these days staff was friendly and helpfull and foods were delious… and we like to recommend if can please add deserts more for sweet tooth lovers… over all good place to relax and chill with your friends, to spend time with your family in busy colombo city💝👍

Waste service ever. We had a marriage function on 17 November at their liberty hall. Less staffs & nobody inside the function hall. 8:00pm buffet was delay & started at 8:50pm no body in hall to top the food even the stupid Manager also didn’t response properly he was saying that they cooking to top up the buffet but no body looking at the food shortage in the buffet & we was waiting for more than 20 mints for the food top up & we have to run to their dirty kitchen to get the food. They don’t have single experience staffs in that hall. They spoil whole function mood because of these stupid service & staffs. Ramada colombo wedding hall runs as a normal street hotels 😤

We bought Chinese Feast Family 2 packs and there weren't what they have mentioned in the Manu and some items were missing. Even we have complained but no any favourable respond received.

I had a experience of High Tea. But it's not same like you tube videos. The plates also smaller than showing the videos. I cannot recommend the high tea. If you went one time. You will never try for second time. Because it's not worthy for the price.

The most rude telephone operators! to place a reservation I had to call 4 times. Trying to cancel one reservation now and they keep cutting the line. Worst hotel ever! Gone are the glory days of Ramada. Totally gone to dogs!

DISAPPOINTED! Do not ever order food from ramada hotel, I placed the order on Wednesday 22nd for Christmas 25th 12 pm lunch but they didn’t give on time. When I called them to check what has happened to my order, they didn’t even care to give me a reason, all what they did was just for the sake asking my reference number and ignoring my calls. For 2 hours I didn’t get a proper update, after more than 2 hours only we did receive the order. Christmas was ruined and Christmas lunch was ruined. Do not ever order from ramada hotel colombo.

Very poor service. Went to the Almadera Restaurant for dinner. It took more than 1 hour to bring the food. Waiter didn’t even take the responsibility. Highly disappointed.
Portions were extremely small. Wouldn’t go again.

Ordered a high tea platter, extremely disappointed. Also, they refused to apply the card discount applicable for delivery stating it’s not applicable for high tea, where it was not mentioned under T&Cs and do not respond thereafter.

Wonderful service by Chethi at Baked. She was pleasant, efficient and went out of the way to check if an item I was needing was in stock in the kitchen. A true asset to the hotel!

We went for high tes buffet and it was fantastic. We enjoyed very well. Good service by the staff was excellent. We have to give special thanks to chef Chamila & Prasanna for their excellent hospitality towards the guest.

Delightful Tea Buffet
We decided to try the Ramada Tea buffet for a change from the normal places.
What a pleasant surprise it was.
We were 6 of us. Warm welcome by the smart hostress with good seating in the spacious lobby.
The food selection was ample and delicious. Excellent presentation. Loved the Chicken and Fish items.
The sweet items too were very tempting the ladies loved it.
Special highlight was the Violin & Keyboard music superb. The atmosphere was charged with the creative mudic produced by the duo. We will comeback for the food. Ambiance certainly for the Music!

My wedding took place in the same building 45 years ago. (then it was Hotel Holliday Inn) Re Ramada, friendly gusture, no. 1 service and delicious food. Above all, it is a much relaxed ambience of everything. — hier: Ramada Colombo.

Made the wrong choice to drop into Ramada for a dinner buffet. The buffet was 3250 and not worth the price. Bad choices of food items starting from the soup. The place was so crowded and the placement of the buffet is really annoying. If it is difficult for you to manage the crowd with the limited space, then please limit the crowd. I had to tell this, the worst dinner buffet in the town. Valentine's Day evening went in vain.

I recently had my sisters wedding at Ramada. It is what it is, we had exceptional experience. Even adhering with the COVID-19 pandemic their hospitality was top-notch. A very special thanks to the Banquet manager Ruweed, who gave his 100% from start of the event to the end. Thank you very much for your exceptional hospitality.

Highly recommend the Japanese high tea at the coffee shop and the great selection of beverages at the Oasis Lounge with good music. Went their twice in the last couple of weeks. We will definitely go back for more. The service is commendable as well. Keep up the good work.

Chicken biriyani sawans received today were delicious quality and timely delivered Responsiveness was excellent during ordering and In all respect the service product and service were excellent.

Was looking for a place to host a bridal shower recently and was recommended 'The Secret Garden' at Ramada. What a great choice! Mr Prasanna from Ramada was easy to communicate with and the staff on that day were so helpful and friendly. The area is perfect for a small gathering. The high tea was value for money and the place was beautiful too. Highly recommend.

Everything has been organized superbly.
It is obvious that some participants were unable to get their dinner as there was an unexpected crowd. The staff however I tried their best to do whatever they could to satisfy the participants.

We went to this hotel. My friend Manav Budhiraja stayed in room no 410 on 22 March 2019. He left his AirPods in the room.
Hotel staff pilfered it and now hotel is also washing its hands off.
Will never go to this hotel again and will request all not to go because of the staff pilfers and hotel supports.

Good place. Idiot staff. My friend ordered food from the bakery and then took the food to the poolside where he was working on a project. The manager told him that working by the pool is not allowed. What bloody logic is that? Are you guys on something?

I had my homecoming at Ramada in May. Everything was smooth upto the function date. But some items from the menu we ordered was not there. The welcome drink was not what we ordered, the soup we orderd a vegetarian soup but what they gave was cream of chicken! Then we ordered devilled fish and what we found was a mutton dish! That is unacceptable as we clearly gave them the menu.
The worst part is their service. Next day when we checked out me and my wife had several bags with us to carry from lobby to car park and no one even bothered to help. The front office people were just watching. I couldnt complain about that as we were in a hurry.
So overall I would give it 3 stars. Banquet staff was good, but the service of the front office, its the worst ever!

Good food. The Japanese fusion restaurant was/is my favourite. Band in the evening is good. Good place for hookah.

There was not much variety. The seating arrangement is made very closely so feels too crowded. Some of the dishes were almost over and none of them were interested in refilling. Most of the foods lacked salt and also had excessively oily and spicy. The price was a little bit low compared to other hotels Also not enough parking space available.

The place is surprisingly old. The staff are quite nice, but not as attentive as one would expect. The place definitely needs an overhaul and a good amount of renovation. But once you enter the room, it's like ur in a different hotel. The room is spacious and well arranged, I gave them stars because of how good the room is compared to the hotel itself. The food is decent, but not something that one would run back to. It's clean in the visible areas but a good look at the hard to reach places would show enough dirt to make you not want to go there. Also needs better parking space.

Love the pool and gym and especially the great food and personalised service and they all know my name! When I go to Ramada, it Always feels like coming home. For 10 years have visited constantly and will continue. Keep up the good work!

Hotel partially refurbished (only the lobby) with the rest a bit tired. Well located, closed to the sea with some room with sea views. Nice pool in the yard. Good for one night but not for longer stays.

Great location, nice looking hotel but upon closer inspection it really needs some TLC. The rooms are generous but are showing their age, the buffet breakfast is squeezed into a small area and you need to go early to beat the rush and the selection is moderate, nothing to get excited about. The customer service really does make up for some of the areas for improvement but this hotel does need a refresh . . (EDIT) I stayed here on a weekend (16/06/18) and there was a function. The music was so loud even though I was on the 5th floor I could hear it clearly and could not sleep. It went on until past midnight and while I don't mind people celebrating it was far too loud and too late. I didn't sleep all night!

Well there a lot of things that don't work for Ramada Colombo. They have an Indian restaurant but the food is not all good. I had ordered Kebabs which were supposed to be soft but instead they were hard as rubber. The naans were also not done properly. The mutton was hard and difficult to bite into. The rooms have a very stale smell, especially the bathrooms. There are ants crawling. You will find a lot of them near the tea and coffee counter in the room. I was also privileged to have a bath towel which was torn. The toiletries are sub standard. And the Gym, well don't risk doing the thread mills as they are work out and you will be left with sore knees.

I haven't stayed at this hotel once it changed hands to Ramada some time ago but have visited guests many time who have stayed, the rooms seem pretty good everything works well, the food here is not bad at all to and is reasonably priced. The staff are well trained and very polite. I however do have one issue, that being, the chairs down at the restaurant are dirty … every time I sat on any of the chairs I ended up with an itchy feeling, perhaps they need to be sanitized with Isopropyl spray and an infrared lamp to kill any germs or bacteria.

Great hospitality. Amazing location. Very good amenities. Good food. Nice rooms. Not too costly. Located in the most beautiful part of the city. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They even managed to accomodate early check-in and late check-out requests. It was a great stay.

My husband and I stayed her for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable! The food served at the restaurants was incredible! We tried everything they offered and couldn’t get over how delicious everything was. The large pool was also very nice after a hot day of exploring. Another thing worth mentioning is how attentive and kind the staff is. We felt so welcome here. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it! the customer service here is top notch and the amenities are great! the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. There is a large pool and also a fitness center. We LOVED the sushi restaraunt here! they fly in their salmon fresh from Norway and all of their sushi is AMAZING! they have a chef that trained in Japan. great location in district 1

Very quit and calm environment. All the staff of the property are kind and glamorous. Happy smiley faces with delight welcoming. Room is clean, happy to stay inside the rooms for long hours. But the TV channels are not enough. Room cleaners are friendly and kind. But the restaurant staff or waiters need to understand the need fullness of customer. Waiting to get water is quit deliberating for few minutes. Overall in major the place is beautiful. I understand to know that every place is in need to get good comments and positive reaction. I give 5 star for the good services.

Hotel Ramada is a well known place in Colombo 3. They have a good restaurants and a beauti salon attached to them. You can have an exciting lunch or a romantic afternoon at the bar area in any given day. Plus they have a swimming pool.

We were asked to wait for a few minutes while they got the room ready. I think someone had just checked out and they made a half-hearted attempt to clean the room. One of the beds was stinking with the smell of urine and on pointing out the sheets were changed and the mattress itself was turned upside down instead of replacing it. The reason given was it was too late in the night to get another mattress. There was a broken panel near the bathroom washbasin. The TV wasn't working. To be fair, the house keeping and maintenance chaps were eager to help. Food was decent. Location is ideal.

Amazing place to stay. Worth the money they charge. Located in prime location n easy commutation as well available in d vicinty. Food options are very wide and suits all.

The recent refurbishment has added much needed class to the place. The cozy Gardenia Restaurant has always been a favourite but our latest visit left us unhappy. The seafood platter looked fab & the seafood was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, it lacked flavour. Even the fish & chips had lost it's quality.

Could have been better… Food was not that great and staff seems to be bit lost in their own world… Basic service standards were never followed like water was not served till the end of our meal we had to ask for the same…

From how it was to how it is now, the new renovation that has gone into it certainly does give it a more Colombo approved look! They serve great food, Do try their pastry shop for a quick bite (where other hotels pastry shops are too much in price and sometimes doesn't offer good food, this place does).

It was for food we went to Ramada. North Indian at that. Excellent decor and seats. Food was good as you would expect in a starred hotel. Service okay. But you need something more for that Wow feeling. Was it there? Not too sure.

Done up well, an interesting play of spaces. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but it provides a unique visual experience.

Cozy place to hangout and have dinner with your friends. Towards the expensive side. They don't have some items (vermouth, baileys) in the drinks menu. Good Food!

Facilities are ok but the service is so slow — clearly the hotel is trying to cut costs by not employing enough staff for the number of customers. It took over over an hour to check us in and at least 30 minutes to bring each item (even drinks) when we ordered at the restaurant which meant a meal could take over 3 hours. The booking also says double beds but they are very small.

Great hotel! The rooms are big, clean and cozy. The lobby is very comfortable with nice chairs to relax. The breakfast is amazing with wide selection of food and drinks. Highly recommended!

No problems. Feels like a western hotel. There is a restaurant on the ground floor selling Indian type food. Breakfast is buffet and was fine. The room we had was an acceptable standard with a bath and shower. There is a gym here too although I didn't have a chance to try it. We were given 2 room cards which was useful.

Very Chilled out spot. Especially next to the pool. The bar too is a great hangout spot with reasonable pricing and tvs and a projector usually showing sports channels.

Being a regular every year for eid, disappointed this year when they tried to force buffet only for us while other customers were given the a la carte menu. I managed to get thru for an a la carte on condition that we were a family of 3 and we wont be ordering much. We were given the look when asking to order another item. The biggest disappointment of all, the roasted spring chicken for 1200. Came half cold. When pointing it out, the take it in, reheat it to the max this time and brings it back. Its now hard like rubber… more like stale old chicken. Id rather get a full roast chicken from plaza or pillawoos. The chef would himself not opt for his stalr roast chicken. Good job ramada.
1. Treat customers equally. Dont be a racist by enforcing your buffet to the muslims.
2. Take responsibility for bad cooked food. I didnt make a scene. Gave the chicken in the take away bag back to the manager to enjoy the piece of shit chicken with the dear lame chef. Not coming again anymore. My 2 year old ate with us. Worried of food poisoning now, considering they give reheated food which could be days or weeks old… Definitely you are going to say you will look into it, but pls dont. Its of no use. Food is not a product that can be returned or exchanged once in the stomach.

Good Hotel. They advertise net prices though and add 30 % taxes to surprised guests at the counter. Very friendly and busy staff, good bar, nice pool and spa, but in heavy need of repair. Tiles chipped, Room windows in need of cleaning, TV s not working, bathroom appliances fail… Nice marble lobby, nice restaurant.

I'm impressed with the recent renovation, a more spacious lobby with a modern gym. The pool is small though and the pool area gets crowded on weekends.

Went for high tea here as I had a great experience about 3 years ago. Things have changed! Firstly the receptionist looked at me like I was mad when I said I had a reservation, then to see the buffet style high tea has been changed to the tier type. We tryed the iced coffee which was watery, the sandwiches were ok but soggy. My husband who has a seafood allergy could only eat a chicken patty as it is a set menu and they were very rude about even making an exception for him to make a substitution. Deserts wasn't that great either! Waited 15 minutes to get tea and in the end we left hungry. Do not recommend high tea here!

I had my wedding there on Feb 05. But unfortunately I am really disappointed with thier service. Even there were no enough waiters to serve my guests. No bellboy I have to take all my bags to upstairs room. Even I didnot have any complementary offers after the wedding. I never recommend this hotel to anyone. After I complained to Mr Rifath (banquet office) he understand the problem and helped to manage that.

My family has stayed for a week in July 2015. Fantastic rooms and bathroom was upgraded. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Swimming pool was good and clean.
